There are ways to introduce a series that take you completely out of one place and plop you clearly into the new world step by step as it unfolds in front of you. There may be some confusion or blurry parts but it all becomes crystal clear it's just a matter of time. This author is one who does that and does it well. The Pretender has done so much damage to their past, destroying histories without a thought. All of the secrets will come to light but it comes at a cost. The kids have found the co ...more

I have a soft spot for epic fantasy novels and what Sarah M Cradit delivers with The Kingless Crown, is something so stunning that I could not put it down. From the first page I was engulfed into this world that the author created with such amazing attention to detail that I felt like I was there watching it all play out. There is a lot of information to take in as this is the first installment and we are introduced to the reaches and all the kids. It is intense, spellbinding and has heart stopp ...more

If you loved 'Lord of the Rings' and 'Game of Thrones' then you will certainly love this new world that has been created by Ms. Cradit. It is an incredible story about a kingdom with four Reaches where not everything is what it seems to be and there is magic! :-) Oh, and the kingdom is on the verge of being turned up-side-down, children are on the run, hidden wonders and did I mention Magic? Really this story is just so good, you have to read it for yourself.
The characters are all incredibly de

Having Read Sarah's books I was excited to read this book. I was not expecting to be pulled in to it so deeply that I didn't want to leave. Now this is a problem since I'm a mother to a 7 year old 😃 so I read until late at night. This felt like a version of Reign (the tv show) mixed with magic and battles and issues of Game of Thrones. So needless to say I loved it! Being on the next one!!!

There are some books for which 5 stars is insufficient. This is one of those books. I know I shouldn’t be surprised because I’ve yet to read a mediocre book from Sarah Cradit, yet I find myself blown away by this story. Sarah has crafted an epic world that is complex and realistic with a collection of complicated and sympathetic characters, and a few serious villains. She’s not afraid to sacrifice some of those characters to further the story, whether through physical/psychological trauma or eve ...more

Beautifully written, The Kingless Crown might just be the next best Fantasy Novel out there.

Throughout the book, I felt that each word word was carefully chosen and each sentence was carefully framed. I’ve read many books that read like revised drafts. This was way beyond the final draft.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book. If you’ve loved Game Of Thrones, you would definitely love this.

It contains a great deal of characters which are all introduced at the start but the author eases th

If you are a fan of epic fantasy, stop right now and pick up this book. Sarah M. Cradit has created an immersive world the likes of which are few and far between in this era of quick read books that shy away from introducing too many characters and plot lines. Think 'Game of Thrones' but without needing to kill characters every 50 pages for the shock value (although there are shocks and thrills aplenty in this story as well).

This is the kind of book that you curl up with and loose yourself and

As someone who has followed Sarah M. Cradit’s writing for a while, I was stoked when she announced her new novel. Even more stoked when I heard it was going to be fantasy. Ms. Cradit has a way of telling her dark tales and tugging her readers along. The story and the characters were so perfectly crafted. There was definitely a “Lord of the Rings” feel to it. And I was only left wanting more. This is a book you do not want to miss. Grab yourself a copy now!

Awesome Book! Adventure. Mystery. Surprises. Family

I found on my part, that from chapter 4 on, the book got better and better. The mystery of it all really had me until it came tome and I was mostly right. Many surprises, many twists and turns along the way. The bravery of those who fled their family and homes on their own mission was brilliant. The adventure were wide spread and that kept it interesting. The truth coming out towards the end was fantastic, the history, the back log and so much

Captivating like gold. Mesmerizing like diamonds. A new fantasy to trail blazes like Sarah J Maas and Leigh Bardugo!

This is my first Sarah Cradit book and I was not prepared for how much this book consumed me. Phenomenal world building and fantastic characters make for an out of this world read! The story is both mesmerizing and entertaining. At different points, the story gave me the chills.

This is book will have you under its spell and will stay with you long after you’ve finished. I give this

The Kingless Crown is an epic fantasy adventure that will leave you wanting more! The beginning was a slow start for me as there is a ton of background information. I was reluctant to keep going but I am glad I did. The world and characters created by Sarah M. Cradit are wonderful and beautifully written. There are many characters that you grow to love and wish to be. The story has mystery and twists that keep you guessing. I found it hard to put this book down and I am going to be impatiently a ...more

Today Sarah M. Cradit has established herself as a legit fantasy author. The Kingless Crown is a work of literary art! The world and characters within are mystical while the story possesses everything a great fantasy series requires...magic, drama, good, evil...etc. If you like fantasy...authors like Robert Jordan, Terry Goodkind, George RR Martin and others this book and continued series are for you!!!

A surefire classic!

I've been trying to find a book I could sink into for quite awhile. One that had all the feels. Jealousy, want, loyalty, etc., all in one. This book has it. Each character ties you in more as you go and you're hooked. Instantly.
I prefer books that can be read many times over and this one fills that order too. Well done author. Well done :)

In the Kingdom, there are four Reaches and twenty years ago the current king cunningly devised a plan to marry the highborn sons of and daughters quickly to each other to stop them constantly being at war with each other. The side effect of that was to shatter the existing betrothals that were already in place. Cruel and some would say he was the evil son of the original king, Eoghan is now a boy-king having stolen his crown through murder is now demanding the eldest daughters of these unions - ...more

This is the tale of one tyrant -
I am referring to the unscrupulous, not so stable far from the rightful king at the moment because we all know that in every good adventure there is more than one adversary, and trust me when I say here there are many but there are also allies to be found in the least likely of places.

The Reaches is comprised of multiple kingdoms each with its own belief system and ruler but all beholden to the aforementioned king

So what happens when a generation decides to call

I always know that when starting one of Sarah’s books one will enter a new world. Detailed and unique to bring the story to life as you cannot put the book down!
