The Seventh Day

Rate this book
Like a potter, a painter, and a musician, God creates the earth and what dwells there, then celebrates by sharing a cup of grape juice with the boy and girl he made in his image and resting on the first Shabbat.

Best suited for 4-7 year olds.

A cute read the could lead to teachable moments, would definitely need parental interjection on parts that present GOD as tired and an ordinary craftsman... instead of being just like a potter/artist/poet; He is The Potter, The Master Artist, and The Chief Songwriter- from Him all men have their being and heritage.

Story structure was simplistic and sweet (ish)
Illustrations were lovely.
