Black River Bend seems the same, except for Preacher. Travis has wanted Preacher for as long as he could remember but Preacher only knows how to cut and run. Can Travis risk his heart for his brother’s best friend?

Note: All or Nothing is book one in the Black River Bend m/m contemporary short romance series. This book ends with a HEA and does not end in a cliffhanger. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone.

Or is it just as a favour??? Or to see his little brother Travis.
10 years ago.... one night Travis was sulking in his room playing video games to stay out of the way of his brother Kurt. But he hears voices and goes to see who is out there but stops in his tracks when he sees its Preacher. Travis has had a crush on him for ages and quickly makes his way back to his room. But later that night he gets hunger and goes looking for pizza only to find Preacher asleep on the sofa. He cant take his eyes off him and moves closer. Only for Preacher to ask if he is going to kiss him?????
Now 10 years later Travis is back Black River Bend living with his brother after something happen with his old boss. SO he is helping his brother out with his gym but now Preacher is here for a fighter. What could happen next??
WOW This is one hot read about showing the person you love, that you have changed. And show him the man you have turned out to be. The chemistry between them is electric but its also about being a true partnership. The love the understanding, the patience. Its just so magically. I REALLY FELL FOR THESE TWO MEN they are just lush!!!!

Sometimes you needed to go back to find your forever....

Preacher hated the town he'd grown up in but he'd do anything for his best buddy so when he asked him to participate in a single match to boost revenue for the gym Kurt had inherited there was no way he'd say no.
Travis hated having to return home after he'd been at the top of his game his brother meant the world to him even when they had problems family took care of each other.
Preacher had never been the kind of man who'd been looking for any type of relationships especially a permanent one.
Okay so he was a little pushy when he might have manipulated Travis out on there date but he wanted to make sure he didn't turn him down.
Travis had never shared with his own brother the real reason he'd left his dream job but here he was spilling his guts to Preacher.
He could understand why Kurt might have thought he'd only wanted one thing from his brother because at one time that would have been true but not today.
Now he just needed to prove it.

A novella telling the story of heavyweight boxing champion, Preacher Garner, and his best friend’s younger brother, Travis Reid. While I enjoy a short read on occasion, this one is too short—not enough plot or character development to get me invested with the characters.

There were some grammar and consistency issues that took me out of the story, too. The plot has all the elements for a good tale. A little more time developing the story and an editor could make this a great novella.

I absolutely love reading this story about falling for your brother's best friend. Stolen kisses, romantic dates and hot intimate moments made this book a page turner. it was nice seeing Preacher proving to Travis that he was a changed man worthy of his trust, respect and love. Their banter was humorous and I just loved Preacher cocky, confident and alpha personality. Even though Travis was a geeky nerd, and he had some insecurities he was passionate with his beliefs and wants out of life...what he expected from Preacher...what he ultimately got from Preacher...true love and stability. Lovely and entertaining book...5 STARS!!!!

A sweet short read about falling in love with your best friends kid brother and the obstacles involved. Kurt and Preacher have been friends forever, Kurts younger brother Travis has a crush on Preacher. This starts off with a ten year old event, then jumps forward to Preachers return to town, now a boxing champion, and the fireworks involved when he and a grown up Travis meet again. I loved the contrasts between these two, Preacher is tough, confident, and very cocky. Travis is nervous and rather insecure, but they meld so well. A lovely story.

First book in a series of four, set in a small town of Black River Bend, Fern tells of a familiar trope, best friend's younger brother. Gym owner Kurt's brother Travis has returned after an issue working at a tech firm. The long term object of his lust is fighter Preacher. The plot has a few clever twists, but characters are well developed and the HEA happens. For a short read, it is satisfying and enjoyable.

Travis had loved Preacher since he was a teenager. There was some elements they had to resolve but they did and will be together forever.

A great start to this Black River Bend Series. The story flows well, the characters fit well together and have amazing chemistry. You will root for these two to get together and have their happily every after ending. The story will hold your attention all the way through. Looking forward to see what will come next in this series.
