Comedy / 3m, 6f / exterior Somewhere in the middle of nowhere in the south, there's a place where the bee-hive hairdo is still the rage and Saturday nights are reserved for the tractor pull in nearby Pickler. A colorful collection of good ol' country folk gather 'round for this year's county fair, and there's stiff competition in the arts and crafts category. Faith County enjoyed a thirty-five week run on WLYX and was featured on the television special, "Dateline."

Farce. 3m, 6w. At the county fairgrounds, starts with crafts competition; then a local woman with a drinking problem drops dead at the piano and is buried; ends with a rushed wedding ceremony at the gravesite (where the bride uses a PortaPotty for staging) after a pregnant friend goes into labor. Country stereotypes, but funny dialogue. Silly enough for a readers theater.

I performed in this play just after graduating high school. Our director chose to make a comedy out of this wreck. Oh my gosh, what a horrible show.
