The reason I've given this book so many stars is the fact that the author provides such clear easy to follow instructions. I learned how to knit socks using this book.

The color schemes are a bit out there though and, using the suggested yarns the end results are often better suited for young children or perhaps clowns?

The blanket patterns and for-the-home stuff is nice. I'd recommend finding similar yarns in NORMAL colors though...

I'm not sure what to say another than 'WOW' and 'MY EYES'. The colors and patterns looked like someone designed them while on an acid trip. I was looking for something I could wear (sweater) without other people needing to wear sunglasses in order to look at me. I mean it was outrageous. I don't mind while socks, but for sweaters, I like them a bit more neutral, or if it is a bright color, you need need six others to go with it.
The socks were fine, as were the scarves. Hated the sweaters though.

Colorful projects. I didn't like any of these enough to want to knit any.

Recommends it for: advanced knitters with color stranding experience
This is a book for advanced knitters with experience working with many colors in the same garment. While I cringed at some of the color combinations the patterns are exciting and energetic.

I got this book from the library because I wanted to make the boot toppers on page 68.
So far I have one done and am kind of enjoying two color knitting. Instructions are very good but my yarn keeps getting tangled.

I Love this book, she used fabulous colors, and the patterns are fairly simple. I borrowed it from the library and if I can find it in a stor I will purchase it.
