Does everyone with a jack Russell name them jack. When reading book i was intrigued. When reading about authors dog, her dog did what my sister in laws did. They are so faithful and never sit still except to sleep. I truly enjoyed this book
Not really a dog person but was able to imagine through this book the wonderful aspects of dogs. I've read some other Samantha Fury books they are all wonderful
This is a quick and delightful read, but especially so for this dog lover. My breed of preference is Boston Terrier, but I could relate to Janice’s distraught reaction to losing her beloved Jack Russel and the machinations she goes through to try to get him back. Randall is a great guy, and I love the relationship he has with his mom and sister who mean well, but tend to get over involved in his life. He’s gentle without being sissyish, and of course, what’s not to like about a man who loves dogs as much as he does. A fun story for any time of the year.
I loved writing this one. It's dedicated to my little Jack Russell. There are a lot of things about my Jack that are included in this book and a cute romance between the two main characters. It's a novella and I think anyone that loves dogs and romance will enjoy reading Missing Jack!!!
A solid 4 1/2stars Sweet little book. Mini Christmas read. Poor Janice lost her “Jack” Russell doggie a few weeks ago. No leads yet at the same time Randall Jackson finds Jack. He’s been busy so just integrates Jack into his pack of dogs. Christmas is coming and his mom has been trying to clean his house aka the old family home. He’s trying to line up a dog sitter to watch his dogs while his sister, who is allergic to dogs is there for the Christmas holiday. Janice keeps calling all the local shelters hoping to find her Jack. Randall’s mother keeps pressing him for a picture of Jack that she can send to the shelter. She wants grandchildren not another grand pup. Lol can’t say much more without spoiling the story. Enjoy it’s almost a Hallmark movie. I received an ARC in e-format from the author. But the remarks are my own
Such a sweet holiday romance novella! A really wonderful story especially if you are a dog lover. Janice has lost her beloved Jack Russell who’s name also happens to be Jack. I enjoyed reading and seeing Janice’s love and determination to find her missing fur baby. Randall Jackson, a local horse veterinarian has found Jack and is happy to include him with his other dogs. When Randall needs a dog sitter for the Christmas holidays fate brings Janice and Randall together. The Jackson family warmly welcomes Janice to their festivities and this family learns some important lessons about forgiveness and reconciliation. A satisfying ending adds joy to the story.
My first book by Samantha Fury. It won't be my last. The story of a Jack Russell missing for 2 weeks. Owner Janice Frazier is looking for her dog. She works at a car rental agency. She drives some of family to Mr. Jackson's house for the holidays. She is knocked down by a dog - her dog. Randall Jackson needs a dig sitter for the holidays so she jumps at chance. Janice isn't looking for romance and neither is Randall. But they fund it. A delightful read.
