What happens when twin brothers Ethan and Eric move in next door to best friends Katie and Phoenix? A whole lot of trouble.
Broadway hopeful Katie is trying to come to terms with her mother’s sudden death. But when a certain hottie from next door gives her sweet smiles, it sparks something inside her.
A misunderstanding sends video game live streamer Phoenix into a hate-relationship with the cocky star quarterback. But maybe hate is too much of a strong word…
Star quarterback Ethan always manages to say the wrong thing to the fiery red-headed Phoenix. But when they’re stuck doing a project together, they realize maybe they’ve misunderstood each other.
Musician Eric is focused on one thing only: his band. But when he finds himself starring opposite Katie in their high school’s musical, suddenly he’s found someone more important than music.
Told from all four characters’ points of view, this series is sure to make you laugh, make you cry, and make you swoon. Dive right in!
Hi! I'm Emma and I write sweet YA romance novels that will make you swoon. When I'm not writing, I love to read, play video games, get lost in a good movie, and I eat way too much junk food. My sweet YA books include The Invisible Girls Club series, The Hotties Next Door series, and Crushing On The New Guy. I also write sweet adult romance books under Emma Lynne, including the Single Girls Club series. I love hearing from my readers, so please don’t hesitate to email me or follow me on Facebook.
The 2 book series was less than 2 months at the beginning of their Junior year. They were all 16. So many times it would be confusing because days or weeks would pass by, but then the story would act like it had only been a day or two.Katie had many onstage kisses. When did she start kissing 12??? One report was due in a week, but it was a week before they even started on it.
Spoiler alert. End of book 2 it is 10 years later. Ethan has had a successful football career and retired the year before, at 25. ???
Also it starts out with Ethan missing his girlfriend who broke up with him. He said she was his soul mate and that there would never be anyone else. However, in less than 2 months Phoenix is now him soul mate.???
So I love this story line and the whole different viewpoints couple editing things fell through the cracks okay it happens but the end...... to just end it there..... read like the last episode in a season of a TV show.... almost like they didn't 0lan to publish these as separate books but they felt it got too long.... interesting (though admittedly overdone) storyline that said I will read the next book simply because I'm interested in how she plans to evolve the characters.
This book had my head reelng with I think two different story-lines going on from four different points of view. I LOVED IT! It was out of the box pushed the limit, and I loved it. It doesn't end though so I'm headed to the next book which is second in the series, however, it looks like there may be three in the series. Hmmm.
Started out ok but became very mundane but what rated it at two is the fact that just as the story develop the problem that should be solved at the end of a book, it ends and to continue you need to purchase the next book. That is totally dishonest!
