The finals of the Yoshino Club Tournament's Class A division. As this long day comes to an end, so do the raging head-to-head battles between powerhouse players. Among the losers are Arata, former Queen Inokuma, Sudo from Hokuou, and Harada-sensei. Yet they all remain, waiting to see who will come out the lone victor. Chihaya and Taichi, both members of the same club, have made their way through the tournament and face off in a sanctioned match at last -- with their first meeting being at these grand finals! Yuki Suetsugu (末次 由紀 Suetsugu Yuki, born September 8, 1975) is a Japanese manga artist. Her career was put on hiatus after she was discovered of being accountable for plagiarism, including tracing. She later resumed her work on March 2007.

She debuted in 1992 in Kodansha's Nakayoshi magazine with Taiyō no Romance. Her works later moved to Bessatsu Friend magazine, also published by Kodansha.

On 2009-03-24, her work Chihayafuru was chosen for the Manga Taishō.

Of course someone was going to skip the trip. Didn’t think it was going to be Mashima though, seeing his mom trying to stop him but Sumire stopping her is cute. The ending of Mashima vs Chihaya was good, I kind of wish we got Mashima only for this part, just put Ayase to the side, would make it a lot more interesting.

I tear up just thinking about how far they have come when you look at their first games and where they are now.

And while I personally might be team Arata, I think Taichi might be my favourite character? His story arc has been my favourite.
