The locations and days of the week feels like a very cut and paste formula. There's a lost opportunity to actually tie some of the locations together or to evoke some of the charm of these locations. Illustrations are not bad but could be a little more inspired.

i’ve really been liking this one lately. my mom says she lived in rome for a few months and can’t wait to take me there one day! but she says we will eat lots of gelato every day, not just on friday like the book says.
