This has photos of lightning, hurricanes, tornadoes, blizzards, and hail. It does NOT give safety tips. The photos are not too scary, something I worry about with books like this. It ends with a rainbow, which I liked very much.

This book is about storms and what causes them. It explains the causes of storms and provides 25 interesting facts about storms. I would use this book in my classroom to explain to students the different types of storms and the causes.

I have to say I honestly didn't know what exactly caused thunder....now I do.
