Yeah, Choso's officially my favourite villain in all of Jujutsu Kaisen. His fight against Yuji in this volume had me flipping the pages frantically, entertained all the way through. The Shibuya Incident arc continues to live up to the hype...

This volume was certainly an adventure to get through. In all the right ways.

I keep waiting for the worst to happen in this arc that the manga has taken, mostly because it feels incredibly ominous and nerve-wracking, but as surprising and mind-boggling as this volume was it was also a lot more relaxed and uplifting than anything I had been expecting.

Which is hilarious considering that things keep getting worse and worse.

Getting to see so much of these characters I knew very little about was incredibly cool. From Mei Mei to Zenin Naobito it was just nice to get the world to expand a bit more. And it wasn't only the sorcerers who we could see more off but also the curses and that was just equally enthusing since I had been waiting to see what some of them could do for some time now.

There were some moments that I still don't quite get or that I just need more information over but I like the ideas if nothing else. Though, certainly, more context with Toji and Choso would be most appreciated.

The action was as fast-paced as always and just as fantastic. It all had me at the edge of my seat with all the different places and battles we are following. Which reminds me that jumping from one place to another and keeping the timer straight in my head was a bit of a tough task.

However, I am looking forward really eagerly to what's to come because, what a surprise, this volume ended in a terribly beautiful cliffhanger.

“I now understand my role. For the sake of Fushiguro, Kugisaki, Nanamin, and all my upperclassmen, I have to make sure they can get through here to Gojo sensei. Even if it means dying, I’m gonna take him down! I don’t have to be the one to save Gojo sensei.”

Honestly, reading the Sibuya arc is taking me an eternity because I'm so scared of every chapter.

The ending of this one, though, confused me a lot. What the heck happened?

Even though I have, somehow, managed to make it to volume 12 of this manga I don't feel safe or very much accomplish seeing as how the Shibuya Arc still continues and will do so for another couple of volumes.

I am, as ever, terrified of it.

Things are at a little lull and I don't like it. Not one bit. It makes me incredibly nervous.

Also, what the heck is going on with that cover? It's the weirdest I've seen so far.

This was another good volume focusing on the fight between different people, we have everyone on the look for Gojou and them taking on different opponents, here the major thrust of the battle is Yuuji vs Choso, and since the latter has blood manipulation cursed techniques its becoming hard for him and even with his insane attacks and then taking him to the bathroom and using water to coagulate blood and make it difficult for him, its becoming more hard. The moment Yuuji thinks he has got an up on him, he comes and strikes with something else. But Sukuna is there also..meanwhile Nanami and Maki find someone else and this looks like a strong curse user. The book is getting interesting and the story really good and just showing the stakes of the series!

Lo que odio de este tomo es la portada. ¿Por qué, Gege? ¿Por qué poner a Mei Mei desnuda cuando nunca la hemos visto así en la historia? Vale, me dices que cuando pelea se quita la ropa y lo entiendo, pero es que eso nunca pasa. Además, ¿por qué le sueltas el pelo? Está horrible. Mei Mei es espectacular y se merecía una portada increíble, no esta mierda.

I just found out from Reddit that the girl on the cover is Mei Mei 😭 I was confused the whole time as who the character is. And Mei Mei? Wtf?

- La personalidad de Toji se apodera del joven y mata a la anciana.

- Mei Mei y su hermano Ui Ui no tienen problema alguno con las maldiciones de rango especial a las que se enfrentaron.

- Nobara se enfrenta a un experto en maldiciones muy fastidioso. Nanami aparece al rescate lleno de furia por lo que le pasó a Ijichi, enojado da más miedo. No tuvo problemas con ese experto en maldiciones.

- Geto le deja un regalo a Mei Mei y dice que si consigue exorcizar a esa maldición se enfrentará a ella. Sin embargo, está maldición puede hacer expansión territorial.

- Itadori se enfrenta a Choso que tiene la intención de de vengar a sus hermanos. La pela se complica, pero Macamaru Walkie-talkie le da una idea para tomar ventaja. Pero el enemigo es muy fuerte, una batalla a muerte digna de las mejores de este manga.

- Cuando todo parecía perdido aparecen las discípulas del original Geto a salvar a Itadori infundiendo recuerdos que no existen en el enemigo.

- Naobito Zenin es un viejo borracho, pero, también es fuerte, no se sabe mucho sobre él, pero se enfrentará a una maldición especial que se parece a Cthulhu.

Another great volume with amazing fights and an interesting plot that keeps thickening. Sometimes with drawn fights it can be hard to fully follow the action in manga, but I can already see it clearly in my head after having seen the anime. I still find what Sukuna did to Choso iconic. He thought he was hindering Yuji, but it’s going to evolve into something really sweet and meaningful. However, the head of the Zenin clan genuinely makes my head hurt. I can’t wait to see what’s next.

as always, i enjoyed all the fighting scenes. the fight between choso and yuji is probably one of my favorites so far. and the explanation of ino’s curse technique was pretty helpful, since i couldn’t really understand what it was before. great!

Choso is incredible 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 that fight between him and Yuji was insane. I never flipped through pages so fast 🤯🤯 and all the panels of Choso are just gorgeous (especially page 136 omg). His character aesthetic is definitely my favorite. He’s so badass and his hair? I love it 😩😩😍🥰😋🤭

More side battles with epic action sequences make for some truly memorable moments. Seeing them think on the spot and try to outwit their enemy is fantastic but its the execution of it all that makes it even more awesome!
