I love fantasy, adventure, and magic. More than that, I adore my readers.

My books are written to entertain -- fantasy adventures filled with compelling characters, spectacular magic, thrilling action, constant intrigue, and a sense of discovery. I equate them to the "Marvel Movie" version of fiction, intended to be a fun escape.

I would love to have you join me and my quirky characters for one outrageous adventure after another. With over a million published words, my author journey has just begun.

Best wishes,
Jeff

4-stars.

A good read.

I shall go straight on to read the 6th and final book.

Apologies for the lack of review but while full-time caring for my Mother who has Vascular Dementia she has had a suspected TIA (basically a mini-stroke) so I shall be keeping things brief.

Happy reading.

Gripping, riveting and unputdownable.

This series gets better and better with each book!

The 5th installment in the epic Fate of Wizardoms Saga is where the ball really starts rolling.

'Incredible truths and frightening conspiracies will be exposed, some of which you may have guessed, others sure to surprise. Still, once aware and blessed with a new perspective, I believe you will realize the story has been heading toward such an end all along.'

Once you are so far along into a series it is difficult to gush about it without spoiling. And damn!! Gushing is all I want to do! Because this series is Awesome! With a capital A!

A squad of misfits, thrust into the roles of reluctant heroes, seek to alter fate and save their world from the Dark Lord. Even they are blind to the elaborate schemes of gods.

Told in the same wonderful prose and just as fast-paced as it's predecessors, Rise of a Wizard Queen is just as gripping and engaging.

Magic and danger, friendship and betrayal are topped with a healthy dose of humor and witty banter and beautifully complement a cast of fully fleshed wonderful characters that one cannot help but root for.
Wild edge-of-the-seat adventure and twists that yet again, you will NOT see coming will have you biting your nails at times, while the fabulous character dynamic will make you both laugh out loud and sigh at others.
I haven't been so caught up in a series since reading The Wheel of Time.

Heartbreaking at times and uplifting at others, this riveting series has all the marks of a fabulous read. Wonderful wordbuilding, an ingenious magic system, beautifully crafted characters, great mystery and intrigue, witty banter and fun filled adventure, as well as dash of romance.
The Fate of Wizardoms is an engaging epic fantasy series with something for every single reader out there.

There is something about Jeffrey L. Kohanek's writing that makes you forget the world around you, and get lost within the pages of his tale.
You don't believe me?
Go ahead and give his books a try.
I guarantee you won't regret it.

The epic saga which has been amazing and outlandish continues in this, book 5 of the series which never stops to amaze me with all it's intricate plots and twist and turns which continue to keep me totally engrossed in the tale. The attention to even the smallest of detail goes to paint a colourful picture of every new place visited thus making the worldbuilding of the eight wizardoms totally come to life for us, the readers. The battle scenes which our heroes get into are almost comical especially those Jace lands himself in. This character adds a touch of light humour to the most challenging of situations and I love his escapades as well as the fact the our female heroes are just as good a warrior as the men especially Adyn and Rhoa, who is a real dare devil and amazing stunt woman. I loved reading about Hassakan and it's Bizarre, which is so different in ambiance to the previous wizardoms visited. Priella thinks she is managing Lord Thurvin whose greed for more and more devotional prayers being sent his way grows with each tower of devotion turned to him, however as with all good plans things tend to take their own fated turn as Priella was to find out during the battle she had been travelling toward. Lord Thurvin ends up battling H'Deesengar the demon who had been imprisoned by the God Urvadan whose prayers went to the wizard Lord Kelluon and it seems as though a battle which should have been of good against evil is now one of evil against darker evil. So can our heroes save their world when all the new Gods seem to have fallen, who will remain? I could not stop reading and am dying to get my hands on the final book in this wondrously magical saga.

I was glued to the pages in this page turner! The danger, betrayal, magic, humor and conflict brings the characters to life. I love this book because it is full of wild adventure, intrigue, plot twists and engaging characters. Can't wait for the next book...

Great Story

Man this series is great. Action packed. Love the cast of characters. You will fall in love with all of them. Equally you will hate the villains with a passion! Fast paced. Heart pounding action. The end of this particular book had a welcoming surprise. One more book to go and we will find out what heck it's going to take to reclaim our world. Read on!

When her wizard lord father dies Priella uses trickery to take his throne. She is determined to rule the world and thinks she can control Thurvin. The underworld is slowly rising. The main characters are slowly being groomed for their part in the battle to save the world. Another excellent book in this series!

So, five books into the series and it is still going strong. It's a combination of amazing characters, a great storyline, a compelling narrative voice and a conflict so deep, it brings everything together. Needless to say, I enjoyed it, I really did. And although I am sad to see the series almost finish, I must know what happens next!
Note, leaving this review to share my experiences and thoughts to the story

Priella uses trickery to take after her father's death. Rhoa is still one of my favorites, and I love reading this series. I am excited to see how it wraps up, but sad to see it ending.

What a wonderful book. I love that Priella had the strength to take on a Demon Lord. I love Jace and Narine the best out of all the characters there were.

Compelling stuff! And things took a serious turn for the darker side of fantasy in this volume of Fate of Wizardoms. While the wizard lords squable amongst each other in a bid to increase their power, struggling to control each other while they're at it, the forces of darkness have reached a point where they're ready after millennia of waiting. The battles are so truly epic.

Meanwhile, our two groups of eclectic heroes with their magical items to support them find out more and more secrets as truths are revealed. The scope of everything they've been through and the machinations of those who seek to use them beggar belief. It's a complex and grand "heist" to make Jace's exploits look like childs' play. The way everything is coming together sets things up for an epic finale in the next (and final) book of this series.

I felt particularly sorry for Priella, because she gambled with incredibly high stakes, and although she wasn't a likeable character, I did hope she might have a redemption arc. Things have not worked out the way she was hoping--not at all. I'm curious to see what becomes of her next, because I fear it might not be pretty with the way things ended in Rise of a Wizard Queen. Also, I think I've figured out a twist in the identity of one of the characters. I'm curious to see if I'm right. It makes so much sense to me why this particular person would be scheming the way he does, but might also lead to a deus ex machina ending (which I'm not so fond of). Anyways, let's see what happens...

As always when I read (or as in this instance - listen to) a series that I happen to love, I end up feeling like a parrot a couple of books in, repeating myself over and over of how fabulous I think the story is...

And let me tell you - this is no different!!

I am absolutely in love with Fate of Wizardoms, and Rise of a Wizard Queen is - if possible - even better than the previous instalments. The action gets your blood pumping, the emotions tear at you, and the twists and turns keep you on your toes! The characters are entertaining and relatable, the settings beautifully described, and the story is gripping!

I cannot stress enough what a ride this story is, and how it continues to surprise me even 5 books in! Honestly, holy sh*t!

The only thing I dread hopping onto the last book is exactly that - it's the last book of the series. I hate the fact that Fate of Wizardoms is coming to an end because I love it so much!

The Fate of Wizardoms series by Jeffrey L. Kohanek is an epic adventure with many colorful characters. My favorite has always been Jace who gets into trouble often but his heart is in the right place. There's a new character, Harlequin, who is a female version of Jace with more vice and less virtue. There is one twist with one character's ambition that I didn't see coming.

It can be challenging following all the different names and scene changes if you're listening to the audiobook. I certainly would not recommend anyone starting this series at Book 5. You really need to read the books in order. That said, Travis Baldree is a brilliant narrator. I can lose myself in the story when I'm listening to him read.

I received an Audible code for Rise of a Wizard Queen. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Damn on to the last book in the series already and it's building up to be an absolutely epic ending. Jeffrey L.Kohanek has made a world were wizards can become God's, the power they hold can cause catalytic events. Fantastic characters and the worldbuilding, plots, oh and are the plots just so sweet and setting is just brilliant. This series just has everything a fantasy fan loves to read. As our gang of misfits are getting closer to their goals and helping in advents that are shaping the Wizardoms by taking down power hungry wizardlords. The Dark Lord is free and only two wizardlords remain. Will our unlikely heros fulfill and bring prophecies that they where prophesied to do and save everyone and the world from destruction. I'm just about to find out. Travis Baldree is an excellent narrator, I highly recommend...😁🔥💥

Starting to Make Sense

Five books is a long time to keep the major plot for a series.
Enjoying the banter between the characters. The magical artifacts are interesting. But who is the real villain?
Not anyone we knew about until the prologue of this book? It’s hard to suspend my disbelief about that.
Still, there’s one book left and I’ll be reading it to see how everything plays out.

The series gets better with each book. It continues to be fast paced with an interesting take on typical fantasy tropes. My favorite scenes by this author are the battles and there are some great ones here. The characters continue to develop and progress while largely retaining their core characteristics.

I have submitted this review after listening to the audiobook of this title within the series set box.
(Audible)

The carnage continues, with the God Lords falling, each in their own dastardly way.
The intrepid misfits are still seeking truths and knowledge but are also feeling used and manipulated.
As the lights of each God Lord fails, so does the cage door on the Dark Lords prison weakens.

This one really had me in a chokehold. Rhoa reuniting with her family had me in tears. The stakes are so much higher this season, and it’s an all out war! Jeffrey gives you all the elements that a sci fi lover lives for. The excellent descriptions and the action is always stellar. This really felt like the beginning of the end and the emotions are heavy.

Another nice fast paced read in this series. It does move along at sometimes breakneck pace with characters dropping like flies, and continues to be entertaining. Some more revelations, together with added mysteries in this one. I look forward to the final book.

Ok

I’m not sure how I feel about this book. The mystery of Salvon is driving me crazy, and is Priella good or evil? Originally, she seemed evil, but now I’m not so sure.
