The perfect wedding, or so she thought. The fairy-tale castle was the perfect setting. The venue couldn’t be any more romantic and the man she was set to marry was straight out of the book of Happy Ever After. The scene was set and nothing was left to chance; it was perfect in every way. Then the guests arrived and Lily discovered they hadn’t read the memo. Unwelcome visitors, parents on the edge of insanity and friends who think they know best, make this a wedding Lily wishes was over already. A legend that dooms the marriage before it’s even happened and a happily ever after that may not make it past the speeches. Lily is about to discover there is no such thing as the perfect day and you can’t plan for the unexpected.
The Wedding at the Castle of Dreams follows Lily and Finn’s story from Aunt Daisy’s Letter. You do not have to read it to enjoy this story & if you enjoy this can go back and see how it all began.
S J Crabb lives in the UK in the South of England and when she isn't writing feels pressured to go to the nearby Zumba class because apparently, that's what you should do these days. She loves Krispy Kreme doughnuts, shopping and Florida. You may also find her pretending she can act in her village drama group and she always wants to play the Fairy. One of her goals in life is to take a selfie without looking like she's escaped from somewhere and discover a filter that takes at least twenty years off. Having tried every craft going she tried her hand at writing and discovered a new passion. If you love Romantic Comedy and happy endings these books may be for you. She has featured in many bestseller charts on Amazon and her books have been enjoyed around the world. The story of Lily and Finn continues from Aunt Daisy’s Letter. While you don’t need to have read the first book I highly recommend you read that one first as it is a wonderful book and shows how Lily and Finn ended up where they are now. I had a lot of fun reading this crazy and sweet romantic tale. I thank Booksprout and SJ Crabb for the opportunity to read and review this book.
The Wedding at the Castle of Dreams - A Delightful Tale!
The Wedding at the Castle of Dreams continues the story begun in Aunt Daisy’s Letter in which Lily and Finn are now getting married. While each story is a stand-alone, they are both immensely enjoyable and so worth the read as each of the characters are rendered with such detail and are truly fun. I found myself laughing out loud as I read this story while at other times shaking my head at some of the antics Lily faces in the midst of her family and friends and of course the curse of the castle. Truly a fun read with hidden nuggets of life lessons to help us along our way, needed now more than ever.

This is a great follow up book to Aunt Daisy's Letter. We get to see what happens to Lily & Finn. I love the characters and they've been updated for this book. I particularly love Sable, I can imagine people just like her in real life. I do think you should really read Aunt Daisy's Letter to get the gist of the interwoven relationships in The Wedding at the castle of dreams but it would work as a stand alone read. I particularly enjoy the french way of life that comes across so well. As with all Sharon's books I have to make time to read them in one or two sittings as it's really difficult to put them down. Another great read !!

A terrific continuation… Lily and Finn are getting married after the completion of the restoration of the Castle of Dreams that started in Aunt Daisy’s Letter. There are several “subplots” going on that kept me on my toes and added a lot of interest and some mystery to the story. The characters are absolutely delightful, and grandma is downright “spunky”. I laughed out loud and even got a case of the “warm fuzzies” at some of her antics. Realistic and dotted with “life lessons” that caused me to pause and reflect. Definitely looking forward to Ms. Crabb’s next book! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The Wedding at the Castle of Dreams is both a sequel and a stand-alone book. We first met Lily and Finn and followed their romance in the superb Aunt Daisy's Letters. This is their wedding and I am sad to say I didn't enjoy this book nearly as much. The characters are still great and the location perfect but something was missing for me and I found myself getting annoyed with the storyline. There are some really good parts but overall this book was not for me. S J Crabb is a wonderful author and I usually really enjoy her books. This is only my opinion and I cannot pinpoint why I didn't enjoy it as much as her other books so please give it a chance.
The Wedding at the Castle of Dreams is a brilliant follow up to Aunt Daisy's Letter, the book is full of humour, intrigue, love and mystery. The character Lily is so likeable and at times you feel that you are there with her, lose yourself in this follow on book and you won't be disappointed. I also wish I had a great friend like Sable she is wonderful So glad that Mark sorted out his life with Kylie. Another great book written by Sharon.

I have enjoyed both books in this series by S J CRABB. There were many laughs and a freshly tears while reading these two books. What a beautiful family and such great friends portrayed in these books. Recommend this series to anyone who enjoys laughing and becoming a part of the storyline!
Sometimes a good read to escape into is just what you need.
Fluff up your pillows and put your phone alway, grab a glass of wine and relax... this story will float you away from whatever is going on in your world and transport you to where dreams come true... Ok a little mushy but sometimes you just need that!
I've read all of Ms. Crabb's books and this is as wonderful as the others! It's not as humorous as Aunt Daisy's Letter (except for a certain video!), but it was so sweet. It's a beautiful, relaxing read.
As soon as I finished Aunt Daisy's Letter, I had to see what happened with Lily and Finn. I'm so glad that I read the 2nd book! I loved the sense of humor! I hope that there will be a 3rd book!
Another fab page turner from SJ Crabb. It follows on from her previous novel Aunty Daisy Letter. Loved both of the novels and hope she adds a third novel to the series. Highly recommend
This was a cute and funny follow up to the first book. However it was very annoying that nearly every female character has a name beginning with S. Truly it was hard to keep track of who was who- Sable, Syble, Sonia, Stacey, Stella.
This is a light fun story about a couple staging a wedding in their "castle" in France with lots of family drama. I enjoyed it enough to want to go back and read the book before this which sets up this one.
What a great sequel to Aunt Daisy's Letter, I couldn't put it down. Standalone story but best read after the 1st book as it introduces the characters and the back story.
I'm looking forward to reading more by this author.
I think Aunt Daisy's Letter is one of the most entertaining books ever. This one continues the funny story of Lilly and Finn. You should make them in to a movie
