Very precise drawings of a wide variety of objects, both manmade and naturally occurring. I like the 18th-century warship a lot, and the space station, and the donut factory. PARENTS: The reproductive organs are detailed on pp.136-137. You may want to decide how your family approaches this subject.
I absolutely love this book. I get it out of the library every time i go there. It includes all of richard platt's and stephen biesty's largest cross section books and smashes them into one HUGE package!! :) !!
My daughter took this very large book with us all over town. She was in love with all the details and drawings. Fun to see inside and behind the scenes of so many industries.
