Loved this series
Really loved the books couldn't put it down but hated the ending it kinda just left you hanging I really hope they have more in this series I would totally buy them

Harper North does defy certain YA stereotypes. One of these stereotypes that she defies is a stereotype that I was getting fed up with (the love interest of the protagonist ).

Imagine living underground working at whatever job you were assigned never having any input into your life? That would give you a glimmer into Fin's life as basically a slave to the EHC. The only good part of her life were her friends Lacy and Drape who basically her family. The dwellers, as they were called, were raised in The Ovens where the were raised after birth so their parents could go back to work. Fin, Lacy, and Drape decide to sneak and see if there is anything worth stealing in the shipment from above, but what they find could change life for everyone under and above ground. This was a fast paced post apocalyptic story with an intricate plot and fascinating characters. It was funny how one action by Finn and her friends could be the catalyst to change their very world. It is sad how some people will do anything to maintain their power base, but secrets will always get out enabling individuals of good conscious to act for everyone's bast interest. The struggle has just begun with Finn and her friends at the very center and they will not give up until everyone is allowed to see what they thought was impossible, the above world.
