Listen, something might very well be broken inside of me because I'm side-eyeing these glowing reviews, wondering if we read the same book.
This was one of the dullest romance books I've ever read with a lot of telling instead of showing and, tbh, the only redeeming factors were Morgan and Gabe.
It was irritating, this forced love between Nate and Gracelyn, likewise the connection they supposedly had. It was not only weird but it also felt like a case of proximity instead of fortuity. I mean, Jewel said they fell in love so I guess it must be true; although, I didn't see it. How and when did it happen? Le sigh
Fortuity is probably my least favourite book by this author and that's low considering how thoroughly I disliked Scarlet Stone

I love you more than I loved Daisy.”
Tears fill her eyes.
“I love you more than I loved Jenna. Not because I didn’t love them with my whole heart. I did. It’s just that my time away with Morgan has taught me one thing. Our capacity to love grows with time. It grows with every new person who touches our lives. So I love you more because my heart is bigger.”
