Starting a Ryot (Hounds of Zeus MC # 3) by Faith Gibson is the eldest brother's story. Ryker aka Ryot is the president of the MC, head of the mercenary business, father to Mac and husband to murdered wife Juliette. He is a brooding individual who is also dealing with the betrayal of Cassandra. When going to meet a new father/daughter team who handles mercenary contracts he comes across a guy looking for his wife. What he finds is his mate. Rhiannon's life has been turned upside down. At 13 Rhiannon aka Rhi aka Anna's mother dies and her father takes her to live at the Ministry. 10 years she has to endure them. On a trip to town with he chosen betrothed she takes her chance to run. What she didn't expect was to be rescued by Ryker. There is something about him that has her emotions stirring. Their journey wasn't an easy one. Josiah and the Ministry are in their way and have no intentionof letting Anna go. I did like this story. It was great seeing the crossover between this series and the Stone Society series. I was especially pleased to see Henry. Looking forward to seeing more of him. There were several different twist and turns with the story that were quite interesting. I always enjoy this author's way of telling a story. I do have more questions surrounding Rhi and her father and of course where is Josiah. The ending left me with a smile. Looking forward to seeing more of Ryker and Rhi in the future. 4 stars for me.

Ryot and Rhi
This is an ongoing story with so many twists and turns that you can begin to fathom the ending.
In this episode, Ryker /Ryot meets Rhiannon/Rhi. Rhi has been dragged to this cult by her father at the age of 13. She has had no further exposure to the outside world from that point on. The dear leader has promised her to one of his loyal followers. She thinks otherwise.
Ryker is restless. His first wife was killed and his daughter has just been returned to him. He doesn’t believe he can have more but his family and friends beg to differ
He meets Rhiannon under trying circumstances at best. Ryker is gifted with a voice. Rhiannon is gifted with healing hands. There are so many moments in this story that will have you laughing and crying.
This story is well written. The characters are fully developed. Even with the fantasy aspect of this book the characters remain fully within your grasp of understanding their capabilities. It is realistic in how they approach and use their powers. The flow is good, the tempo is even and there is no lag in the book.
I am enjoying this journey and I look forward to the next installment.

Faith torn up those pages again with another dynamite storyline!
Ryker the President of The Hounds harderned by a past that he can't seem to let go of runs himself into the ground managing the club and focusing on taking down as many Ministry Cults as possible.
Now finding a perfect fit to help his club track down these cults Ryot isn't expecting for a dirty run away woman to entered his life.
Now with one of the biggest ministries seeming to always be a step before them trying to get back the scared woman, the one that now seems to own Ryot without him wanting it, it will take the help of others to keep her save.
With time running out, love on the line, these two Character's will have you at the edge of your sit. If that isn't the best the camo appearances of Character's from past books in the Society Series will leave you excited and wanting more from this series!

Recommended Series
Ryker and Rhi are perfect for each other! They have several difficulties to deal with first though. Ryker needs to step out from behind the wall he built around himself since the kidnapping and death of his mate Juliette 20 years ago. Rhi was kept in one of the Ministry camps for the last ten years.
So there are any of emotions to work through and the Ministry and her father aren't giving up on retrieving Rhi. They have plans for her that you will have to read to find out about.
I love that the entire "family" unit of the Hounds are there when they are needed. The fact that the Gryphons and the Gargoyles are overlapping is great! I recommend this author and look forward to reading more of her wonderful stories!

Wow, fantastic

Still grieving the loss of his mate 20 years ago but happy to have his daughter back, he doesn't want another mate. Rhiannon is a pagan, given to the ministry by her father, she is promised to a man she doesn't love by a cult leader she despises. When the opportunity arises she escapes and runs into Ryker, who promises help. As the trust between the two grows so does the risk from both the ministry and the one person who should love Rhiannon without prejudice, her father. Thoroughly recommend this book, can't wait for book 4.

Love when you least expect it
Fate brings two souls together that need each other. Rhi has a gift a special connection with nature. Ryker is lonely and has a protective nature that is strongly drawn out by Rhi. He is drawn to her but fights it. Through challenges and learning more about each other, they develop a bond that cannot be broken. Faith Gibson does such a wonderful job taking us through their journey. I loved the pace of this story. It was enjoyable to see Rhi overcome his fears and make him realize just how special they are together. I look forward to the next in this series.

OMG!! I was beyond shocked!! im happy about Mac got for her happy ending and Ryot needs 2 finally realize that he deserves a 2nd chance at love and he has 2 have the strength to deal with things better than what he was dealt with his past and he does. Reanna needs 2 feel safe and have a true love for 1 in her life. she's been through beyond hell but it hurts a hell of lot more when someone she loves does her wrong and then condricts alot of things they do 2 her. nobody has a rt 2 dictate 2 her. i do wish her mom was alive cause then she really could have helped her gift more. i loved it and i soooooo can't wait 4 more asap!!

What does Josiah want?
Ryker meets with a new contractor, this one someone his dad knows. On the way back home, he witnesses a suspicious scene. A young woman in a worn, old-fashioned dress running away from a man who claims to be her husband. Why is Ryker suspicious? It's the same kind of attire the Ministry puts women in. He rescues the woman, Rhianna and things go off the rails like a combo of Mac and Lucy, but with its own twist. Rhianna has some Wicca, she refers to herself as Pagan, but she had an affinity for plants and living things. And I'm not quite sure it's really done either.

The Hounds of Zeus is BACK!
The Prez is up for the ride of his life! I want to be clear this is an incredible author and her stories carry you through this AMAZING thrilling journey to find their own person. Rhi has been abandoned literally! She has been in the hands of a monster. She is an old soul in a resilient wonderful way. She is more mature than a person her age and she knows what she wants. What an incredible ride this is. Passionate and beautifully written. I am having a grand time in this universe and learning more and more as the underlying story line continues from book 1. I recommend this book and this author!

Starting a Ryot is a good continuation of The Hounds of Zeus MC series.
I enjoyed seeing characters from previous books in this series and from the Stone Society series. It’s like meeting up with old friends.
Getting to know Ryker better and watching him navigate his way through the newness of his relationships with Rhi and his recently found daughter showed a side of him that I wouldn’t have imagined before reading this offering. His demeanor in previous books made change seem impossible (and unwanted) for him. There is an aspect of his personality that he was concerned with that was not addressed, and I wish it had been. It wasn't an issue in the long run, but its mention early on made it stick with me.
The ongoing storyline regarding the cult moves forward a bit in this offering. Some aspects of it are quite satisfying, and some made me want to scream in frustration. I like having a good reaction like that to a book. It makes me come back for more. BUT, somebody needs to tie a bell around Josiah so they can find him.
Several things were going on, and different locations being utilized, which made me backtrack once or twice to make sure I was in the right place, doing the right thing with the right characters. And I was there, with them, for most of the book. I love getting that immersed in a book.
Rhi’s ordeal farther into the book is blessedly short, but the reality of who did this to her and what she had to do to survive was hard for me to read.
The relationship between Ryker and Rhi progresses as you expect, considering where each of these characters is coming from. There is a sweetness to it that is unexpected, but it works for them. Rhi is still innocent in many ways, but her underlying strength, curiosity, and joy in life make it easy for Ryker to fall for her. Their affection feels real, the passion strong, and the HEA satisfying.
I look forward to more from this author.

Another Hit by Faith Gibson
Starting a Ryot is my new favorite by Faith Gibson. I honestly can say I related to every character. I adore the Mother-figures in this book as well! Overall the healing quality and healing characters/ characteristics are what the world needs and Faith stepped up to the plate! Well done! I couldn't put it down! Ryot deserved this love and his story. I finished as always with happy tears in my eyes.

Ryot and Rhiannon's story is one of tragic and loss. Even though most people would get frostbite from the layer of ice around Ryot's heart. Surprisingly Rhi has still got enough love in her heart after what she has been through to thaw that heart out.

Worth the wait
I absolutely loved this book. The Hounds always come with intrigue and drama but this one also brought angst. With this book you get laughter and tears. In these trying times, a new twist on a May - December romance with gryphons, gargoyles and pagan powers is exactly what the readers need!

This is a great story about shapeshifters . The president of this MC Club falls in love with Rhi. There is many twist and mystery through this novel. Rhi’s father left her at commune when she was thirteen years old. While she was there she was physically abuse. She finds love and true family with the MC club.

This is the third installment of the Hounds of Zeus series and each one keeps getting better and better. If you have not started this series you need to now. I read this book in one sitting because I could not put it down, it is just that good!

I wonder if Rhi's dad was really going insane or there is more to the story. Ryker got his head out of his ass real fast when he thought he would lose his second chance with his mate. I love the dialogue between these bikers and their Gryphons.

Holy catballs Batman!!
The authors note said she hoped we felt the love she poured into this one and I gotta say...girl you ducking NAILED IT!!! This book was epic! Crazy, loving, intense and holy catballs Batman was it perfect!!!

I've read the last two books back to back. All are easy to read and enjoy. Looking forward to reading the authors other books. Gryphon and gargoyles what's not to love.
