“Everybody lies, Princess. Some of us are just better at not getting caught.”

He murdered my uncle then covered it with fire. A fire that should have killed me, too. Instead, he hauled me from the floor while flames licked the walls, strong arms holding me close.

He saved my life.

Now I want to know why. I never saw his face. All I know is the letters on his shirt. SVH.

Devious Little Liars is the first book in the new Saint View High series by Elle Thorpe. This is my first book by this author and certainly won't be the last. Told in multiple perspectives, this bully RH book was packed with all the suspense and angsty goodness that my little heart desires. Get ready to meet Lacey, Banjo, Rafe & Colt.

Here were are introduced to Lacey who is mourning the loss of her uncle. He was murdered, and the killer then tried to cover it up with a fire. A fire that would ha

Devious Little Liars is the first book of the Saint view High series by Ella Thorpe. Told in dual perspectives , this was dark bully RH book for all the twisted minds out there!!

This was my first book by this author and I absolutely loved the hell out of it!! I am on my way to stalk her other books , because she clearly deserves a lot of appreciation. Bully Romances are my dose of addiction and of you add Reverse Harem to the mix , then let'
Sheena ☆ Oh, the Sheenanigans!

Holy moly. This was unexpected… in a good way.

It was a dark, gritty, suspenseful romance with the perfect whodunnit moments that had me on the edge of my seat. Like holy shit, why haven't I heard of Ella Thrope before?!

It blows me away that I have finally finally found a bully romance that I actually like despite the *gag* reverse harem trope. Besides that, this story sucked me in and for the reasons listed above, obviously I would highly recommend this to all dark romance read

”Everybody lies, princess. Some of us are just better at not getting caught.”

This is my first book by Elle Thorpe but definitely not my last.

Meet the Untouchables. They guys from the wrong side of the tracks that are clearly caught up in stuff that they aren’t meant to be. Lacey transfers to Saint View High to track down her uncle’s killer. All she has to go on is the letters SVH that she saw on her rescuers shirt.

As Lacey delves deeper into a world she’s not familiar with she falls deeper for

BOOK friends, I’m mad at you. Why didn’t anyone get me reading Elle Thorpe sooner?! Because HOLY CRAP- this book was amazing. Can’t stop reading, call in sick to work, obsessing over every little detail, book hangover and want to immediately re-read AMAZING. Elle brings us an interesting and complex storyline but she also infuses it with so much interesting characterization and character connection- I was RIVETED and read this is one sitting.

Heroine is willing to lose her virginity to a bartender on the day of her uncle’s funeral - the uncle who she thought of as a father since she was 5 years old.

Heroine is a orphan but grew up as a rich girl because of her uncle and aunt.

I did not care for the heroine. Situations seemed forced.
Good luck. Not for me.

DNF, but you may love. Reading is subjective.

This book OMG!!!! I have been reading Elle's work sine her debut release but Devious Little Liars is going in a whole new direction to her previous novels. It's a bully romance at it's core with some suspense, mystery and menage action in this book (although the series is set to be reverse harem).

Right at the start we are thrown into the plot of the book with the heroine Lacey determined to discover who rescued her from the fire that was used to cover up her Uncle's murder. She can only remember

Devious Little Liars is book one in the Saint View High series. This is my first Elle Thorpe book and it definitely won't be my last. The twists and turns that Elle puts in this book kept me turning the pages.

After the disappearance of her, parents Lacey moves in with her aunt and uncle. Years later and her uncle passes away under suspicious circumstances. Concerned with the lack of initiative taken by the police investigating into the events surrounding her uncle's death Lacey decides to take m

Oh. My. God!! This book was wild!

I’ve been jumping into books without reading blurbs/reviews lately & I’m so happy I did that with this one! The reverse harem trope was a great surprise! I’ve come to really enjoy reading that trope.

Some of these scenes are SO FREAKING HOT!!! Like beyond & I was looking forward to so much more but than that ending came out of nowhere! There are so so many secrets & I NEED the next book immediately because I need to know what happens next. There’s so much left un

Elle Thorpe is a very talented writer, so it's no big surprise how well-written this book is.
What might surprise you is her change of genre. Having written some great contemporary romance, she now ventured into the realms of darker, more suspenseful, and dirtier romance with the start of this bully- and reverse-harem-themed series. And again she did a great job!
Now I'm dying for the next book because, fair warning, this cliff-hanger ending leaves you breathless.
Thumbs up, Elle Thorpe, keep it co

Devious Little Liars is a high school reverse harem, bully romance. It is well written and suspenseful and interesting. This book captures your attention and keeps it until the end. The ending is shocking and intense and will leave you needing to read the next book in the series.

This book will take you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. High school at it's meanest. After her private school for girls is closed due to a fire that her uncle/the principal dies in, Lacey chooses to go to a nearby public school instead of the private boys school the rest of her school will be attending. Her motive, find the boy who rescued her from the fire, and most likely started the fire.

She quickly realizes public school is nothing like private school. Her clothes.....wrong. Her car...

Addictive, hot and super steamy!

Holy heck, this was such a great read!

Plenty of sexy scenes, delicious boys and drama that keeps you engaged, on the edge of your seat gripping your kindle for dear life throughout!

The female MC, Lacey, was just the right amount of badass, intelligence and level headedness which was refreshing and exciting to read; I’ve read a few darker high school romances where the MCs ‘badassery’ pretty much punches you in the face which is a major eye roll for me.

YOU. NEED. TO. READ. THIS. BOOK! If you are into enemies to lovers, reverse harem, some bullying, mystery, a hell lot of drama, steamy scenes, a feisty girl and bad boys (here you have 3 of them), you’re in the right place! I was hooked from page one to the holy hell of the cliffhangers! I couldn’t stop reading and now I’m dying to read the next one. I can’t get enough!

Lacey is the best! She’s strong, determined, feisty, fierce, and give back as good as she gets. But I liked the best at her is h

Devious Little Liars will take you a wild ride from the very first page. I didn’t want this story to end and when it did, boy, be reading for a cliffhanger.

Lacey recently transferred to Saint View High after her school burned down and the death of her uncle. She is determined to find the truth about what happened, all she knows is there was someone else in the school the night of the fire with a Saint View High shirt. This is where she meets the Untouchables, the boys in school who can do no wr

Alright, I love a good RH bully romance, and this one checks all the boxes!! If you are new to the genre, reverse harem bully romance means that the main female character ends up with 3 or more guys - not just casually dating, but committed relationships that work because everyone is in agreement and makes it work. Bully romance means that the guys are awful to her in the beginning, and usually at some point in the middle too, but somehow they all work it out. These books aren't cute, happy roma ...more

Thorpe came on to my radar with this novel. I saw the cover was immediately intrigued alone. I wanted something dark but a highschool take and this was perfect. Devious Little Liars is a flip on the poor girl/rich boy scenario. Our heroine Lacey Knight is forced to flip her life and join Saint View High in order to solve the mystery.
Lacey has had enough drama to last a life time and when she drawn in to a mystery because the cops can’t get themselves together and follow the trail. She takes thi

WOW… what a storyline. Kudo’s Ms. Thorpe for a very well written storyline that had me snared from the stare. What to say without giving too much away with this review is tough… I’d like to just type READ THIS BOOK… but I know that probably isn’t enough.

This is an emotional bully storyline that contains lots of genres I enjoy: suspense, reverse harem, friends to lovers and so much more. I couldn’t help but fall in love with Lacey. She is pulled from a fire by the very man that set the fire in o

I normally write my reviews the minute I finish reading with no problem but I’m not sure I can do it with this book. I have SO much to say but my brain can’t comprehend the amazingness I just read! So, I am going to write my review now BUT it may be edited in the days to come because there is so much to process.

The book begins with a fire that kills Lacey’s uncle and sets her on a completely difference course for her senior year. Lacey starts at a new school determined to find her uncles murder

Oh Lordy!! Elle Thorpe has a serious way with words. Her words paint a very graphic picture of the situation between the main characters in this story. The dynamics between the wealthy and not so wealthy; between the catty chicks and the sweet ones. How each teen gets their eyes opened wide once they experience a different way of life. How each teen reacts to the upsets in their little worlds. This story had me going through all of my emotions; from calmness when Lacey was lost in her world of m ...more
