I have always wanted to paint and seem to start and then stop because the results are not very good. I especially want to paint and draw animals. But getting started: getting the perspective right is one of the issues I struggled with. This book is a start to getting that perspective. It is as it says "First Steps" and don't expect a Rembrandt to pop out after your first try, or even many others. This book will help you get a handle on beginning and yes it really does work with a lot of practice. The book shortens the time to learn how to draw animals but you still need to do it over and over and over. If you are willing to practice and make many many attempts at an animal, the book will help you get there. Good luck. I'm still working at it and you know just learning is fun.
