Despite The Seven Deadly Sins' valiant efforts, the Demon Lord has returned -- and this time, he's taken Meliodas's brother, Zeldris, as his vessel. In order to save Zeldris, Meliodas and Elizabeth head to Lake Salisbury to face the revived Demon Lord head-on. But the Demon Lord isn't the only adversary The Seven Deadly Sins are up against, and soon enough, they have their hands full when an army of Indura set their sights on Britannia!

Not as flawless as the last volume, but great anyway!
The fights were as clean and cool as ever, the Indura is fucking TERRIFYING to look at, and Escanor continues to be Bescanor which I will always applaud. I don't know if I've mentioned this earlier, but I am very proud of Elizabeth's character growth and it really shines here.
One issue that I have is that Zel and Meliodas's relationship is constantly told through flashbacks and because of this it's hard to really connect with them. Not that it's bad and you can still understand where both of them are emotionally, but you don't get the same feelings that you would if you were watching this build through the present. The same goes for Zel's relationship with Gelda, I kind of feel like that was thrown in to offer a parallel between Zel and Meliodas.
Also, why are we three volumes away from the ending and we are only NOW seeing Ban's sacred treasure? Why the FUCK wasn't that given to him sooner?? I hope we get an explanation later outside of the one give by the Queen of Asspulls Merlin (still love her, though).
Despite my gripes, this was a great volume that has me pumped for the next volume. Can't wait!
This volume was amazing, with the demon lord having taken over Zelordis body its upto Meliodas and the 7DS to save the day and all of them. This volume focuses on demon lord's return as he is still adjusting to this body and his power is being restored while the 7DS are busy fighting Indula and Meliodas is fighting Demon Lord. There are great moments like Ban getting his sacred object and knocking down the baby Indula monsters at such ferocity and then the part with Escanor was heroic, even though he lost all his power, he continued to save the trinity of royal knights and what a heroic display he wants until Mael comes in and saves him and he asks for "Sunshine" one last time to save his friends. And the battle between Meliodas and DL in the Salisbury Lake is amazing, they fight and he is smacking him and calling for Zelodris soul but by the end DL gets his full power and that transformation is epic and seems like more trouble is heading their way, until all 7DS come together and its such an emotional scene. This volume was just so epic!!

Good build up and some really cool action as we seen Elizabeth and Meliodas fight together. We finally get to see some more about Zeldris and when he looked up to Meliodas and about how manipulative the Demon King can be. Also really cool to see weak Escanor get some time to shine without his sunshine power.
1. This is the longest epilogue in the history of manga. 2. This is the best epilogue in the history of manga.
There are sooooooo many fan-wishes and secrets unlocked in this section, I'm astonished. Every new chapter overwhelms the ones before. Can't wait for the final conclusion.
i hope that if zeldoris manage to win his body back we wouldn't find the demon king possessing someone else and starting allover again it could'v ended from the first time !!!
I don't know how to feel about this one. Glad the story is not ending where last volume left us, but this still feels way too easya nd inconsequential, so far.

I disegni, a volte concentrati su semplici sguardi, mi stanno rimanendo impressi.
I'm seeing a pattern and find it very annoying. The Demon King is not dead, of course, (what a surprise everyone) and now possesses Zeldris. Meliodas and Elizabeth fight him alone for a while while the Sins fight an Indura and its offspring (the scene with Escanor was amazing btw). Ban gets his Sacred Treasure after 300+ chapters. The pattern was Meliodas trying to do things alone and the Sins joining and saying "captain don't ignore us we're here too." This happened so many times and for the Sins to be able to keep up with Meliodas (who is too op), they all get power-ups. It was okay for a couple times but now I'm like uuggghh again...
The Demon King has Zeldris's body and is using an illusion of Gelda to keep him pacified. Meanwhile, the Seven Deadly Sins are busy fighting an Indura (super big, super bad, super uh-oh monster). Meanwhile, Meliodas and Elizabeth sneak off to fight the Demon King.
And for some reason, Hawk's mom said something about the King being born, but that silhouette looked an awful lot like Arthur who is dead(?). Are we about to have a 'King in the Mountain' thing happen?
Edit: And I just found out there's only 3 books left...time to panic!
