There is a Marriage Practical course/project that makes two students cohabitate and practice marriage life in order to graduate and proceed to the real world. It sounds absurd and silly at first, kinda cringey the first time I laid eyes on it too.
But, the thing about this manga is that—the story is really hooking and engaging. Yes, it definite got the suggestive vibes, that sometimes it's kind of revolting, but it's almost easy to ignore once you get the hang of it. Focus on the eyes, bruh! The thing is, it's a seinen manga, so you'll really expect to see this kind of lewd stuff and I do not belong to that demographic.
Although, the catch is that you'll be more and more interested with the development of the two characters forced to cohabitate; a nobody and a popular gyaru. The progress is smooth, and there are really not much irritating characters.
It definitely deserve a 2-star rating, but I did enjoy it, so I'll give it 3.
I think, I'll be here until the last page of the final volume. I got to see Jirou and Akari get together for real.
An interesting school experiment/course happens and instead of ending up with the ones they love these two end up together. Arguments ensue but also some flirting and slow romance begins to bloom. Though I have a very big feeling that the childhood friend is going to bump between these two. And while we know the guy is slowly falling for our gal he is also still in love with his childhood friend. Mmmmmm, I just wished that the childhood friend wasn't around. I could live with two people who don't like each having to live together, but I just don't like a love triangle. Plus, what is up with that school? That they group teenagers together and tell them to get along in very interesting ways to earn points. No points and no graduation. Whut? I just loved our gal, she was sweet and fun and I do love her fashion and how she looks. I am curious how this one will continue, I am happy that our gal was able to confess, now it is just hoping they get together. The art was lovely, especially the girls are drawn lovely.
BUT I DON'T CARE WHAT THEY SAY, I'M IN LOVE WITH YOU.
Let me break this down in layman terms, this is my chosen poison of the year. Every year, I have at least one massive guilty pleasure book, and this is it.
Here's the sad news, I actually kinda found it boring when I first tried to read it years back. But then, honey, that anime dropped and I needed to know what was next!
This manga will feel homey to all of the 2nd Place Queens out there (Hi, welcome to the club). All of us who have fallen in love with someone who loved someone else, or settled for us and made you remember constantly that you were never their 1st choice and priority. The person dropped in the "If they were about to fall off a cliff who would you save" scenario. I felt incredibly seen while reading this, because I have been 2nd place a lot especially in regards to love lives.
Not to mention this manga is filled with humor, some questionable moments, and a ton of love.
