The Wedding at Seagrove is the 5th book in the South Carolina Sunsets Series by Rachael Hanna.Even though this is the 5th book in this series it can be read as a standalone but I really feel that reading them in order will help you keep everyone and everything in sequence and make the story more enjoyable.. Ms. Hanna wrote a wonderful story which drew me in, making me forget the world around me and did not let me go until I turned the last page. It was great to come back to Seagrove Inn and catch up with all the well-developed characters. All the characters are doing well navigating their new lives. This book has adoption, romance I could not put it down I had to see who was getting married. Who is it? Who found a new friend? You will have to read the book and find out. This book and series is so well you will end up buying the whole series. I can’t wait for the next book.

ARC for honest review with no compensation received from Readerlinks

The Wedding at Seagrove is book 5 in the South Carolina Sunsets series by Rachel Hanna.

As we continue on with Julie and Dawson, William and Janine, Colleen and Tucker, Meg, Christian and baby Vivi, Dixie and Harry, SuAnn and Dylan along with other character coming to light in this book.

This story shows their lives ebbing and flowing on a journey through life, twists and turns, ups and downs, adoption, making new friends and hope to finding their HEA...question is who is having the wedding?? Only time will tell...

Ms. Hanna has taken us on an unforgettable journey and I am looking forward to more books in this series...

The wedding at Seagrove will fill your heart with so many different emotions throughout the story but the most important one is happiness. I got to know all of the characters so much better and as always I felt like a part of their family and went through every emotion they did. The wedding is the huge surprise but actually we got to live through 2 of them which made me so very happy. You need to grab your copy today and start with book 1 if you havent and enjoy these wonderful stories of happiness, sadness, love and growing through hardships with them. I loved this story and it is my favorite of the series so far.

A simple fiction read. The storyline in this fifth book in the series is getting a bit ridiculous, and yet, I keep reading when I need a simple read.

This is Book 5 of the continuing saga of the residents of Seagrove, South Carolina. As stated in the title, there is a surprise wedding fairly early in the story. Of the many characters in the story, the wedding that occurred was a shock but everyone was thrilled for the new couple. Colleen, Tucker and Dawson decided to give back to their community by hosting a special camp for at need children. This camp will affect all of the lives of everyone in Seagrove. This was just a sweet story from this Hallmark-like series.

I absolutely LOVED this book, just as I have with Rachel’s other books, she is a very gifted storyteller! Everything I have read thus far has been unforgettably beautiful, and the level of elation is overwhelming!

Sometimes, predictability is a good thing, and this is one of those times! This book will leave you with your fist in the air, Judd Nelson style!

The Wedding at Seagrove is book 5 of the series. Each can be read by themselves but Ms. Hanna has created a wonderful series. Each story flows seamlessly from one to another & feels as though we are a part of their lives. The characters are likable & well defined. While this story is mainly about Julie & Dawson, it also visits several other couples & gives an update on their relationships. As a reader, you grow to love the community & the friends. I can’t wait for the next story!

Another winner. You really do need to start with the first book, the Beach House. Each one is better than the last and this is no exception. Each one deals with a different subject. From the beginning these people become your family and friends. Can't wait for next one!

II have loved the South Carolina Sunset Series by Rachel Hanna and could not wait to read The Wedding at Seagrove. This book did not disappoint me! It was such a feel good read!

The story of Julie and her family continues. Julie ended up on this island after her marriage dissolved and she bought a rundown cottage, sight unseen. Soon after, her sister, her daughters, and her mom all follow her to the island. “Wedding” continues to follow their lives and the relationship between Julie and Dawson. Will they get together or not?

This book has such a heartwarming story. An interesting twist is introduced in this book about a young boy who is in foster care and Dawson befriends him. It is such a sweet story. Then, at the end, we have a surprise wedding!! It was so fun to read.

I loved this book and can’t wait for the next one!

If you are looking for a feel good series, this is it! I have only read half of the series (and they are all very brief) but plan to pick back up at some point. Loved the characters and really felt like I was right there with them. Julie, you are an amazing woman! And of course loved the SC connection!

The Wedding At Seagrove: South Carolina Sunsets Book 5 is written by Rachel Hanna. This fifth book of the series is as interesting as the first one. Rachel takes the town of Seagrove and solves all the problems a person might have. This book talks about second chances and forever homes.
Julie’s family is starting to settle down in Seagrove. Her Mother is busy with her bakery and her attempt to become a better person and so far has made great strides. Her sister, Janine, has her yoga studio set up and running and is helping William figure out what his new business should be. What that will be, he doesn’t know yet. Julie’s daughter, Colleen, is working for Tucker’s family toy business and is happy. She and Tucker are putting on an experimental week of joy for foster children. Wonder how that will go? Meg and Christopher are happy in their apartment with their lovely baby, Vivi. Meg is trying to go to school at the same time she is wife and Mother; but seems to be having problems with that. Christopher wants to get married; but Meg wants to wait to let the shock of having a baby and going to school has worn off a little. And finally, Dixie, has returned from her travels with Harry, only to reveal they have gotten married. What is going on in Seagrove?

I swear I fall in love with this series more with each book I read. The characters are so well described and so easy to relate to and empathize with. It's about a woman named Julie, whose garbage husband cheats on her and divorces her, starting her life completely over. She moved to a little island and quickly makes new friends and creates a beautiful new life for herself and spends it with those she truly loves. I truly dislike when I finish the current one I'm on, but it's like coming back home once I start the next book in the series. Not many books hit me like this. And I don't just give 5⭐️ reviews unless I feel the book has earned that spot. It took me to book 5 to give it that, but this was also my favorite so far in the series. This genre is not a preferred one of mine, but I'm starting to question myself as to why not. This series has softened my cold, dark, thriller-loving heart. If you are on the fence regarding this series, hop down and get reading. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Reading The Wedding At Seagrove felt like coming home. We are able to embrace all of the characters that we have come to love and see that they are all happy and healthy.

SuAnn is finding her way in the small town and making friends while running a successful business. Janine and William are moving forward in their relationship all while both owning their own businesses. Colleen and Meg are happy with their significant others and excelling and finally we participate in Julie and Dawson's happily-ever-after. The final scene of the beach - spectacular! My heart melted.

I highly recommend the South Carolina Sunset series!

Loving this series. I look forward to following the adventures of this family. SuAnn (Julie and Janine’s mom), is adjusting to her new life and fitting into small town life with running her business and trying to make new friends. As the title suggests, there will be a wedding at Seagrove, but I will not say who gets wedding, because that is part of the fun of reading the book to try to figure out which of the wonderful couples will get married. Rachel Hanna continues to make this a wonderful series that makes you feel like you are visiting with close friends while reading these books. Highly recommend.

The fifth book of the South Carolina Sunsets series continues Julie’s journey of discovery of a new life after abandonment and divorce. The book welcomes us back to the lovely beach town of Seagrove where people support each other to thrive. I loved this heartwarming story! Through the books, the characters have become dear friends that I cannot wait to hear more about. The poignant story reminds us that trials in life are part of our journey, which ultimately leads us to a fuller, more colorful life experience.

It would be nice if all of life's dramas could be resolved in less than 200 pages.
This book - the 5th in the series - is not well written. There are grammatical errors and there are things that just do not make sense.
It feels rushed.
It is a quick read with the proverbial happy ending, so not the worst way to spend a few hours.

One of the pros of the series are the contemporary issues that are central to the plots.

There are few more books, and I will finish the series. I doubt I will read other series by this author.

I gave The Wedding at Seagrove 3.5 stars, rounding it up. It was another sweet addition to the Seagrove series, full of heartwarming moments and charming characters. The story itself had good pacing, but at times, it didn’t captivate me as much as some of the other books in the series. However, it still delivered the feel-good vibe that I’ve come to expect from Rachel Hanna’s books. Overall, it’s a nice, light read, and if you’re a fan of the series, you’ll enjoy revisiting the familiar setting and characters.

I received a free ARC for an honest review.
I love these books and Rachel Hanna does a wonderful job of weaving the characters lives together. This is a beautiful story about love and finding togetherness at any age. The characters of Julie, her sister, and her girls as well as Dixie and SuAnn are truthful and lovely. I won't give away the wedding at the end - but it's not who you would expect. I just loved this book and can't wait for the next one in the series!

This is a quick read - a fun novel that features the same crazy cast of characters from the previous South Carolina Sunsets novels- Julie and Dawson, her daughters and her granddaughter, her sister Janine, dear friend Dixie, Dixie's son William, and Julie and Janine's mother SuAnn, who is now running the bakery next door to Janine's Yoga studio. Who is getting married? There are so many possible candidates and the book unfolds to a very happy ending.

Having recently lost my spouse of 40 years, I am using the books of this series as my anti-depressants. Warm empowering characters that overcome life's challenges.

I highly recommend the audiobook versions of the books in the series, which Ms. Hanna has generously allowed to be available via public library apps. I do so because the narrator, Becky Brabham, adds multiple levels of audio humor with her secondary characterization's voices. They are super funny!
