I read the entire series and I am giving it a 1-star rating because the editing was extremely poor. I read book after book thinking that maybe it would improve, but no such luck. The proofreading in last book in the series was the most of the lot. Throughout the series, grammar and sentence structure will frustrate any reader who has a good understanding of grammar, tense and word use. In one book this author even has one character make a point about an applicant “not caring” because the use grammar was so bad in the resume he submitted. I actually got a chuckle out of that because apparently this author is guilty of the same in her writing. There was a lack of attention to detail in keeping the names of characters cohesive throughout the entire series. In this last book, a character gives birth to triplets, two boys and a girl. A few paragraphs later (in the same chapter), she’s naming two girls and one boy. The cover image even depicts the triplets as two boys and a girl. This author either doesn’t have a good grasp on sentence structure and grammar, has a REALLY horrible proofreader/editor, or simply doesn’t care. NOTE TO AUTHOR: You have a decent plot/storyline for this series but it needs some serious editing to to make it good. I’d even volunteer to proofread the series for free, if you’re interested in delivering a good read.
I hate these books. They can’t keep the names and details straight. On 1 page it said she had 2 boys and a girl and the next page she had 2 girls and a boy. Not to mention the characters that in previous books were introduced as his children are now completely erased in this book. It’s like the author took portions of 5 or 6 different stories and put them all in this book without reading to see if it even made any sense. If I could, I would give his 0 stars.
The story was great but the ending should have had a different ending. The ending should have been a happy ever after, instead of them continue to just have sex without showing ho committed they were to each other no matter what the feud was between their family.
I think the theft angle was interesting, wanted to slap Shenade upside the head! Almost thought that they'd just stay friends. Wish she'd told Dennis where to get off though...
Dang I finally finished this book. I thought I was never going to finish. Plus the author kept messing things half the time in this book. I was yet again confused. Smh 🤦🏽♀️ like Shanade and Tony had two boys and a girl. But somehow the author ended up saying two girls, a boy. I think she got her own self confused.
But I will say this, it was good even with the annoying. Mess ups. I was glad that Tony also ended up forgiving Shanade because she knew she was in the wrong for stealing from the company. I said to myself I hope she gives the money back. That she did. It took Tony awhile to stop thinking that Shanade was lying.
He should’ve known the only thing she lied well tbh she didn’t lie to him at all. Because only bad thing she done was steal from the copy. I think him being in love and in a relationship with her what did it for him.
But like I said at least he came around. Plus Dennis was yet again trying to ruin things. Smh I still don’t understand how Samantha thought Todd was worse than her father Dennis. Because you look at it Dennis is the horrible one.
Also; I swear I thought Tony was Timothy father and Timothy in his thirties I believe or maybe forties. Because David is the youngest he is in his 30s. I believe that the author forgot she wrote about Todd billionaire brother in the other books. Smh 🤦🏽♀️
