This would have been better if the first sexual encounter didn't happen with her dad asleep in the SAME room. Like... wtf.

I guess it's OK.
I really dislike all the winking and smirking. Why would a middle-age man smirk and wink at his teenage goddaughter all the time? It's creepy. He started fantasizing about her years ago, years before she turned 18, which is really gross. And both of them not being responsible enough to protect themselves? OK, I understand maybe the first or maybe even the second time, but doing it for many months is just completely irresponsible. They are both saying that they don't want to destroy his relationship with her Dad, but neither barely makes any effort to avoid having sex with each other.

Ok. If I could just find a good age gap book, that'd be fucking great. This was NOT that book. I didn't hate it, but I definitely didn't like it.
The sex was ok. The dude sounded like a fox. The chick was super immature and their dialogue was just terrible. It felt stilted and cringy. Checking someone out and daydreaming about them is not enough for chemistry. There was none here. Shit didn't work.
Thankfully, it was a short read, so there's that. I didn't have to stay on this crap train for too long. There was really nothing that was interesting about the FMC. Also, the cover is a fucking joke. She's described as having a cartoon body. Yea, that's written there. If you have an hour glass body, that consists of double D's and a "shelf ass", you got yourself a cartoon body, whatever the fuck that means. And yet, the cover girl is small. The author makes a big deal about dudes always checking her rack or ass and how she says she's bullied for being fat and this is the cover they chose. . . whatevs.
The dad was annoying and needed to get laid. Both MC's had no personality or connection. I don't see why it would be more than sex, cuz shit, I have more connection to my Amazon delivery driver than these two. She didn't bring the young at love vibe out of him, just the opposite, it wasn't attractive.

My biggest takeaway: Don’t trust anyone with your kids.
I felt like reading something spicy but I’m not sure why I thought it would be a good idea to read basically a taboo erotica. Maybe it would’ve been okay if it was better written but the whole time I was thinking ‘what in the wattpad is this’? I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many exclamation points in a story. Plus, I just couldn’t find it in me to root for the creepy man who’s been lusting after his 18 year old daughter for years? Ew!! And the female MC was really annoying. Hard pass on all fronts. The only good thing about this was that it was short.

it was ok, however i got say i found it icky that he was 45, yup 45 and she was 18 and he said he has been lusting for her for a couple of years, that if found yucky that means that he has been lusting for her while she was a young teenager and I find that unacceptable and really disgusting, especially when he talks about how he walked with her when she was in pigtails and he held her hand to cross the street and she used to sleep over, and she used to sit on his lap. So yeah I can see how her dad would flip the hell out, because I certainly would have after giving you all of my trust and you betrayed it.

A fun, steamy and fast-paced romance with well-developed and likeable characters. Some parts are a bit unbelievable but it’s a fictional novella after all. I wish the conflict was more fleshed out though!
Overall, this was very enjoyable. I gave this a go as it was free on Kindle but I’ll likely purchase the rest of the series.

There were so many mentions of her friend and dad having crushes on each other that I was sure the resolution to her dad forgiving her and his best friend was going to be a 'I slept with your best friend dad, and you slept with mind, we're even.' But I guess not 🤷♀️🤷♀️

Renee has had a crush on her godfather for awhile but never thought anything would come of it. That is until she is at his place for a get together and finds his journal with some smoking hot stories about them being together. She uses the journal as a way to get Kane to act on what they both want. But will it be something that will be long term? Or will he end things once he gets what he wants?
This is a steamy story that will captivate you from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Ooo another steamy hot novel by yours everyone's favorite author Law. Loved it. Great from start to finish. No backtracking and loved every little twist in it. I one point I thought... nope not saying it. Find out yourself in this hot little novel.

Blackmailing My Dad’s Best Friend, Book 1 of the Blackmail Fantasies series, was about 18-year-old Renee Linwood, a senior in high school, and 45-year-old Kane, the owner of the Raising Kane Construction company and her dad's college BFF.
Renee had a crush on Kane since she was a little girl, even though he was her godfather and her dad's BFF. However, nothing ever happened between them until her senior year in high school (when she was already 18) and she found his private journal in which she discovered his fantasies about the two of them being together. She decided to take the journal and use it to force him to fulfill both of their fantasies.
Things went well for several months, but then after graduation, and during the party afterward that her dad threw for her, Kane broke things off when she told him she didn't want to be "a dirty little secret" and wanted to go public with their relationship. Then he left. Neither of them were happy in the time that followed.
Although Renee had learned she was pregnant shortly before graduation, she hadn't told Kane about the baby. She decided not to burden him with an unwanted child. However, Kane took matters into his own hands and showed up at her dad's house, only for them to be caught by her dad in the middle of a spicy moment.
This was a really enjoyable story, with plenty of angst, drama, and spice. It had a lot of twists and turns that kept it interesting. The plot was simple, yet the story flowed freely and smoothly.
While the MMC was mature and well-developed, the FMC was more than a little immature and underdeveloped. She had a lot of growing up to do, but she managed to do that in the time after the breakup and reunion.
I only gave this story a three-star rating because of the immaturity of the FMC.

One day, Renee stumbles upon her godfather’s journal with erotic entries about her. Oh my! Undoubtedly, she takes the book. To alleviate her sexual appetite, she tries to have sex with her loser boyfriend, which ends up being so awkward and unsatisfying. He couldn’t even get it in right. Too funny! She needed a REAL MAN to please her, not some inexperienced high school boy.
Renee may be willing to give back the journal if he would give her something in return. How will her father react if she ever revealed the dirty thoughts his best friend had been having for his daughter? Blackmail, baby!
Their first time was with her dad sleeping 2 feet away in the same room. Wow! Were the 2 playing with fire, especially with all the handsy gestures and flirty looks?
I liked how Kane helps Renee with her college dilemma. It’s true: most college graduates don’t get a job in the field they studied. College isn’t for everyone. Kane inspired her to pursue her heart, which was sweet and hot.
The sex arrangement was great, but questions soon arise. Was Kane really into her or just giving in to her blackmail? What will happen if her dad finds out? Can they go back to the way they were?
So much love and drama boils down to an explosive ending. A great read!

I was scrolling through Kindle Unlimited and I quirked a brow when I saw the title of this book. I KNEW going into this that it probably wasn't going to be a stellar read. I mean...the plot alone is problematic. Despite this though, I couldn't stop reading it...maybe a little because I like torturing myself but also it was like watching a trainwreck that I couldn't look away from.
God, this book has so many issues.
First, the author constantly has our MC, Renee, talk about how "curvy", "thick", and "full" she is yet the cover of this book is of a very petite woman. Red flag.
Second, as if "dad's best friend" isn't bad enough he is also her GODFATHER. HE LITERALLY HELPED RAISE HER SINCE SHE WAS AN INFANT. RED FLAG.
I have no real issue with age gap love. I do, however, have an issue with a grown man being around a child all of their life and magically being sexually attracted to them once they are of age...Isn't that creepy???

Good story but anticlimactic
I was on the edge of my seat. Couldnt put the book down. My eyes hurt so bad just so I could finish reading! Once we got toward the end though, it kind of just hurried to an ending. The story could have went on for a bit longer. But I enjoyed it none the less.
Slight spoiler: I liked how sassy and straight to the point the h was. She knew what she wanted and took it! I dont think she should have let Billy Borg (rolls eyes) get as far as he did. She obviously had penetration and therefore is no longer a virgin. But they kept bringing it up later talking about losing her virginity for real! If we could have do overs... most of us ladies would never even claim our firsts! Then at the end she just blurted out she was pregnant but for what? I think it would have been smarter for her to tell Kane privately. Not for him to find out like that. Plus I think the dad was way to forgiving lol. Especially how he found them! But the epilogue was so cute. Glad Kane could have a family... even this late in life. And I'm glad Renee got to do what she loved at the end. Oh yeah! And I dont find it as interesting that they were 27 when Renee were born. To make it a bit less creepy, they should have been 20 maybe 22. That would have made them 38 or 40. Having him be 45 was a tad too much, even for me!

All fine, I'm totally okay with an age gap romance of adults. There are even some hot moments in this book.
My only problems are that they have their first sexual encounter on a couch with her (Renee's) father in the same room. What person ever is going to have sex in the same room as their dad. I know I wouldn't! An then Kane is 45 years old an says he's been fantasizing about Renee for a few years...
That makes Renee underage, gross on his part. Renee having a crush underage is different, he is a grown man that should know better! Two consenting adults on age gap fine, but the fact feeling started when Renee was underage is skevy to me... I don't know if this is just my issues or not. But that was my complaints an I'm sticking to them....

If you enjoy a naughty or nice themes, then this series is for you. However, I find it a bit concerning that each woman has to be naive, give in to what the men want. Even in the happy endings. I just find it disturbing that the women have additional, accidental & additional pregnancies with many kids. It just feels like the ladies are giving into her men's wants. Just my opinion?

But let's remember if you're interested in the raunchy relationships. Then don't let my personal thoughts affect your reading. This is about fantasies. I liked this story a lot. It was a bit concerning with the blackmail, but I'm glad I gave it a chance. It was an entertaining and enjoyable story. The characters were interesting and likable even though I couldn't really get a read on Renee's friend Cassidy. She seemed to be a great friend but sometimes I felt like there was more going on with her than what was in the story. Renee and Kane were amazing together. The age difference was pretty big but once you got past that they were a great couple. Kane was interesting with the way he handled Renee. I liked that they both were happy to fulfill each other's fantasies. Renee and Kane's happy ever after made me smile. I recommend reading this book.

Steamy and Exciting.
I really enjoyed this story. There were a few info dumps and some parts where the author told us what was happening instead of showing, and the fact that the best friend had a crush on the main character’s dad was told to us a couple times (which was a bit repetitive and annoying), but the actual story was great. Sex scenes were erotic, characters were great, and the storyline was entertaining.
I felt uncomfortable whenever the Rey addressed her dad as “daddy”, but I guess that’s a stereotypical rich girl thing(?).
I’m might end up reading the rest of the series. I’m hoping that there’s a story about the best friend and dad, because I was secretly rooting for them.

This story is better than the other in this series that I read. While this one still deals with blackmail and kind-of forced sex, not really though because he admitted to wanting from the very beginning, it wasn't as cruel and off-putting as in the other story I read. I actually enjoyed this story. I liked the main couple. They seemed really cute together. I was hoping to find that the author had written about the dad and best friend as well, but it doesn't appear she did. At least it's not a part of this series anyway. Maybe she'll bring them back for another story in the future.

This one didn't flow very well for me. Their whole relationship read a bit weird for me, especially since it started with them having sex while her dad was right next to them asleep.
It also seemed a bit odd to me that Kane was having sexual fantasies about Renee when she was still underage. It's fine that they were together since she was 18, but all the fantasies before that was a little weird.
Blackmailing My Dad's Best Friend wasn't really for me. Sure it was steamy taboo, but not really something I enjoyed.

Is it taboo, or is it just wrong?
I have nothing against a good taboo romance. However, this one has taken taboo a little too far to be considered romantic.
She’s 18!! She’s still in high school!! But that’s not even the bad part… he’s been fantasizing about her for YEARS!!! I have to draw the line there.
I don’t mind the 27 year age difference. It’s a good story. But she needed to be a little older. At this point, it doesn’t seem like taboo. It seems more like taking advantage.

I read this for free on my Kindle, it was a pretty good forbidden romance story considering how short it was. And although it didn't have a lot of emotional development in the plot, or even just basic logic for the consequences i still enjoyed this steamy story. I would also be interested in reading about the side characters romance in this story so overall it's an incredibly steamy read with a flare of dramatic for the plotline.
