Some things in life are very hard for me to imagine. Living a criminal lifestyle is probably near the top of the list, especially one that involves kidnapping children and young teens for extremely evil purposes. Brody, who started the Pals Center to help at-risk teens, and Emma, a child psychologist who volunteers at the center, suddenly find themselves involved in the case of two missing teens who were active in the programs at the center. As with the other books in this series, I enjoyed the interaction between Brody and his retired military dog, Charlie. Charlie was trained to defend and track. Above all, he was exceptionally good with children and teens. They loved Charlie. He was one of my favorite characters in the story. Brody and Emma had lived through circumstances that made it easier for them to relate to the at-risk teens, not that they had been in their shoes, but they had fought some tough battles in their lives and learned how to come out as winners. Their faith was a major factor in who they had become. They were not perfect, but they knew when they were in special need of help from God. Characters who live out their faith speak to me. I received an advance copy of this book from the author. This is my honest review. All opinions are strictly my own.
Missing by Margaret Daley Everyday Heroes Series Book Six Brody Taylor, found of Pals Center, is doing his best to help the kids in his town. And now, he needs to keep them safe. Young teens have gone missing. He fears what could be going on and time is short to find them.
Dr. Emma Reichs is a child psychologist. She's been helping out at Pals Center for about six months and when one troubled girl doesn't show up for their group meeting...Emma knows something is wrong. And she's not going to give up until she gets her back safely.
A very good story but intense being we know things like this really happen. Children taken from their homes for nefarious reasons. Excellent series and stories. https://justjudysjumbles.blogspot.com...
Exciting and yet tragic read! With children missing, I could only hope they would be found and kidnappers caught. Child trafficking has increased in the United States with new awareness being taught in schools as well as churches. This story does have a good outcome, however, there were deaths and uncomfortable situations. Thanks to Brody, an ex-Green Beret, and Dr. Emma Reichs, a child psychologist, children were found, homes were acquired and lives were saved. With excellent writing by this author, the reality of kidnapping children was handled in a way that most reading fans could handle. This is a Christian read and I admired the heroes and could hug the children.
This rating of 5 stars is for the hero six book series, each one had a hero with great dog, who rescues the damsel. I liked the story line and caring for the supporting communities. Prayer and common sense help them fit the puzzle pieces together and solve the problems.
Being about kidnapped children, I had a hard time reading this book, but it was so good I still couldn't put it down! Thankfully it had a beautiful romance and ending!
I loved all the books in this series. All the characters were wonderful and the plots were believable. I especially loved all the animals. They truly are a blessing and are very comforting. Highly recommend this author!!
This book brings the very real topic of children being stolen by sex traffickers. It does not go into detail but it does shed light on the men and women who rescue them.
This fiction involved a very pertinent topic in the US and many places elsewhere. One needs to be aware of their surroundings This fiction grabs the reader from page one.
This was a fairly fast paced book. Brody and Emma were great. Always enjoy a book with dogs, Charlie was great. The surprise at the end as to who was running the kidnap ring was a real surprise, I had never once thought of him!
This is one interesting read of Emma and Brody along with his dog, Charlie, in this mystery of missing children and along the way fell in love. A great read and it is also a page turned. Loved it.
This is prefect way to end the series. Emma finds her perfect partner. They work together to solve the problem. The wedding brought everyone where they should be.
I couldn't put this book down,it held me from the very beginning to the end.Mystery, suspense, thrills and chills with plenty of action.I really enjoyed reading 📚this story.
Author Margaret Daley is a talented storyteller and is successful in crafting stories that will keep the pages turning. Dr. Emma Reichs counsels young children and teens and volunteers at the Pals Center, an organization to help economically and emotionally disadvantaged children. The founder of the Pals Center, Brody Taylor, is a friend and they are suddenly thrown into the thick of things when children start missing. Both are passionate about their jobs and both have flawed pasts. Will they be able to stop the disappearances and in doing so be drawn together as more than friends? Will their shared faith in God sustain them through difficult times? I always enjoy animals in stories and Brock’s Search and Rescue Belgian Malinois, Charlie, adds that special touch! Don’t miss this series! I received a copy from the author. The opinions are my own.
There's nothing more scary in this day and age than missing children and knowing (or assuming) that they are being used for sex trafficking. It's a horrible thought for any parents or just any person in general! This is the premise of the book. Emma and Brody work with kids at the PALS Center which is a safe haven for kids. When kids start disappearing, they investigate and involve police. It becomes clear that something terrible is happening in their city and they aim to work along with the police to solve it plus keep the other kids safe. There is a lot of action and caring between the two of them. I really enjoyed the character development and the story! It's a very interesting story that had me finishing it in one day! I definitely recommend it!

Who is kidnapping these girls and can they find out why they are going missing ,and who is behind it? Racing against time is there any hope that they ware still alive? I was given a complimentary copy of this book, but was not told that I had to give a review. All opinions are my own.
Missing is the sixth book from Margaret Daley’s Everyday Heroes series. I enjoy her books and this one does not disappoint. I loved Emma and Brody from the start, but Charlie is probably my favorite the character. The story is a page turner that had me engaged all the way to the end. I give Missing five stars. I recommend it for readers who enjoy clean romantic suspense. I received this book from the author, but was not required to write a review. This review is 100% my own honest opinion.
