Eliza Brown, known as La-La, is a beautiful seventeen-year-old that is madly in love with her much older boyfriend, Alonso Davis. Despite how her mother feels about her relationship with him, Eliza feels nothing or no one could tear their love apart, not even Nicole, Alonso’s bitter baby mama. Alonso is one of the hoods finest. He doesn’t only have good looks and money, but he seems to be everything Eliza’s young heart desires in a man, but will she be ready for the heartache that comes along with dating a not only much experienced man, but a man whose life is full of drama as well? Chyna Wilson might be only eighteen, but she knows all about heartaches and pain. With Clarence Thomas now in her life, he shows her affection that no one has ever shown her before. Immediately, Chyna finds herself comfortable enough to forget a night she deeply regrets—a night she never wants to be brought up again, not even to Clarence. However, Chyna isn’t the only one with a secret. Clarence has one, too, and when it’s brought to light, it will have Chyna questioning his true feelings for her, as well as his loyalty. Will the secrets be strong enough to rip these two lovebirds apart, or will their true feelings for one another conquer it all? At the age of eighteen, Zola Mitchell feels she has the perfect relationship with Alonso’s little brother, Prince Davis. He’s a great provider and from day one, Prince had never hidden how he felt about her. Zola makes it a point to rub her picture-perfect relationship in her friends faces every chance she gets, but is her and Prince’s relationship really picture perfect, or is it all a fairytale? In Love Never Felt So Right, this group will show you how beautiful being in love might seem, but when it comes to the drama that sometimes follows, you just have to make sure you’re ready for the heartache that it might bring.
La La was determined to love Alonso regardless of their age difference and what her mother was trying to tell her would happen. He broke her heart and allowed Nicole to cause nothing but drama. Zola is miserable and doing her friends and everyone else bad due to her circumstances. Karma will definitely visit her! I hope La La realizes she definitely needs to move on after she and her mother get arrested. Can't wait to read part two!
It was decent. Its not at all what I expected from this author. It seemed a little amateurish compared to other stuff and It really kind of turned me off due to the nature of LaLa and Alonso's relationship. Alonso is creep of all creeps for real, but i guess you cant help who you love and stuff like that happens in the real world all the time. So wtbs... it did get better towards the end and that ending thou!!! Looking forward to part 2
I feel sorry for these young girls just beginning their rocky roller coaster relationships. Lonso has too much baggage! Maybe King is more her speed. Zola is just wrong and I don’t see her friendships lasting long. Chyna and Clarence are the only couple I can see making it. Ready for part 2.
All I can say this book was all about drama. I feel like Zola is up to something and I feel like Chyna is the only real friend. I don't see things going good for Alonso.
