Love The Man, Love The Club

Rate this book
My club and family—by blood and by love—have been my life. My biological family taught me loyalty and love. They instilled me with the morals and showed me the important values in life. Protecting women and children is my job as a man. My club affirmed that love, and loyalty is what a good relationship is founded on. Riding hard and having my brothers’ backs comes from loyalty and love.

My life has never been easy, but I know I would never walk away from my club or my family. We have storms brewing with another motorcycle club. We are waiting for the other boot to drop, and then I meet Emma. Emma's everything I never knew I needed, but also everything I can't see myself letting go. Emma is beautiful, sassy, and self-reliant—things I never found attractive in a woman. She has a problem with motorcycle clubs. I have to remind her—Love The Man, Love The Club.

Happily married with grandbabies too. I live in a town along the Ohio river bed in the great state of Kentucky. We sit each year on the riverbanks to see the fireworks. I love what I am able to do. It doesn't always come easy but the voices always come back telling me what to write.

Emma + Trent/Savior = Sophie

Garr = Mega Asshole

Another one-night stand wouldn’t be so bad. If I get her out of my system, I’ll be able to find a woman I could be interested in.

I see Sensa and Violet, two of the club girls who helped Sawyer and Pug, our prospects, fix lunch.

People know better than to touch me without my permission. I swing my head around and see Beauty standing there.

Beauty and Ruby are chasing a patch. They won’t get one. They don’t love any of the brothers, they just want the respect and power an ol’ lady has.

Sensa is a blond with a body made for sin. She’s a rich girl that likes to party and the more the merrier. She’s trying to piss her rich daddy off and doesn’t mind flaunting her escapades in front of him.

“Savior doesn’t let go like that very often and it was past time for it to happen. The woman he was with last night is a bounty hunter. I knew the way he was eyeing her the day she was at the club that he was going to get closer to her. The thing is, that woman is going to be madder than a hell when he doesn’t call her. He doesn’t need to mess with her. She is trouble waiting to happen.

“So yes, I was interested. He left without a word and not a peep since then. Then you tell me he doesn’t remember that night. What’s that say about his alcohol tolerance?”

The first thing I see is Beauty in between Garr’s legs with his cock in her mouth giving him a blow job. He knew I was on my way with Debbie and I try to keep my sister away from this shit, but he did it anyway.

Deb sits in a chair as Beauty is working her mouth around Garr. “Salute!” Deb yells out and the brothers are there cheering her on.

“You have it all wrong, I’m not disrespecting anyone. I’m giving Beauty here the audience she’s always been looking for. I’m watching her technique and your cock seems to like the action. I mean, you can only watch so many pornos before they bore you out of your ever-loving mind. This real-life stuff is so much better.”

We are supposed to love the man, love the club, but he was completely out of line.

I could have lost Emma before I ever could remember having her and that is interference in a brother’s life.

If I walked away from Emma, I know I would always regret it. I would be a worthless man sucking down alcohol and fucking club girls the rest of my life.

“Just promise me that you will be careful and never mess with another woman. I won’t share and I’d beat anyone's ass that tried to take you away from me.

Story is good, but......

I am a lover of STORIES. I don't care about grammar, spelling, or POV. These writers have good stories. The problem is the writing style, I guess. I want my stories to draw me in as if I am there in the story. This author writes by telling you what's going on, like a narrator is in my ear. Lots of unnecessary details of everyday life and then lots of time skips. Not very smooth reading. I personally will continue to read in this world because the storyline is good in my opinion.

So much potential but it fell flat. The over abundance of unnecessary details bogged the story down. Topics that could have gave depth to the story where gone over to quickly. The conversations between characters where awkward and to formally spoken. The H and h only met a few times the first part of the book. Then boom there in love. I gave up at 50%

This is the first book I have read by these authors and it won’t be the last. Savior and Emma are stubborn and hardheaded and don’t easily get along with people but they are perfect for each other once they finally give in. He is the VP of the Haunted Hills MC and she is a bounty hunter working alongside her brothers. When they finally give into one night of passion there are lasting consequences of their union. Will she accept his club into her family?

This story ties into the Ink-Fusion series. It’s a love story that starts off a little rocky, but quickly turns into a listing love, like their families have.
Both Savior and Emma, are stubborn people with large families. Her’s is by blood, until she marries him, and his is by both blood and by the choice of brotherhood.
Together they learn to listen, understand, and standby each other and their families thur thick and thin.
This is a great read.

I absolutely loved it. I laughed, I held my breath and I fell in love with Trent and Emma. From the minute I picked this book up I couldn't put it down and I didn't want it to end. I have so much I want to say, but I can't give anything away. I will say this book had hot headed alpha's, love, hot sex, family, loyalty, respect and brotherhood. I can't wait to see what happens next.

First things first; I really like the cover of this book!
Love the man, love the club is book one in the haunted hills MC series. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Emma is a bounty hunter that hates people telling her what to do. Especially her family. Trent is the vice president of the haunted hills MC. When Trent sees Emma he wants her but will he get what he wanted. After one night together things go crazy.
The chemistry between Trent and Emma is clear to see and I loved them together. I thought that they made a great pair.
I really disliked what Garr did.
I wasn’t a fan of Emma’s siblings except for Saul.
I really liked the ending of this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

Good start to a new series!
My only issue was at times I didn’t feel like I was witnessing what was unfolding, instead was being told what was happening. If that makes sense? It kept me from being drawn in completely. This is my first from author Penny Anglene, read just about everything that Vera Quinn has written. I just started reading something else by Penny and I’m realizing it’s her writing style. I’m not saying it’s bad just different.

Usually I say wonderful or great characters. And there were some, BUT there were some really tough characters (or scary!). Great storyline. Loved the title, fit the story well. And the cover model was perfect for Trent/Savior! I really enjoyed Emma and her resilience!
I bought the paperback from Author Penny Anglene at Committed in Louisville 2021 !!!

Two and a half stars

The authors have potential, but there's
no depth, a lot of repetition and the dialogue needs work. People don't speak in monologues.

The characters have a ONS (which the H doesn't remember), 6 weeks later she's pregnant and they are getting married. A bit OTT there.

The story almost feels narrated. The POV is messed up a bit, especially towards the end.

I loved it. Savior and Emma have an instant attraction and one night turns into a fast paced romance with drama, action and a HEA. The other characters mentioned in the story leave you intrigued and I cannot wait to read the next book in this series. A recommended MC read.

Good start

The writing in this one was like reading a list . It was horrible and the story was quite good . I didn’t feel much chemistry between the two lead characters . I will definitely give this series another read .

It was a bit different.

But overall I enjoyed the story line and the
characters had some wonderful quirks. Hard pissed me off at times where I wanted to be punch him. My heart broke for Katie and Debbie.

The was a Outstanding Read!

I was hooked from the first chapter. I was thrilled with Emma and her Badass bounty hunter ways. She was a amazingly strong female lead. Savior was quite a Badass in his own way. My true love in this story was the truth and honestly these two shared and had with each other. I was touched by how deeply they felt the bond to each other and the family they were creating together.
The other great aspect of this book was the family of the MC. I really enjoyed seeing the devotion to the Brothers and old ladies! I was impressed the strength and connection they all shared.
Fantastic read and I hope there are more books to come in this series.

“Love the Man, Love the Club has me enamored. This was my first book of both Vera Quinn and Penny Anglene. Emma and Trent/Savior’s story was so delightful to read. When I first read the blurb and saw MC I knew wanted it and I’m amazed of what I read though it wasn’t as other books I’ve read of the same trope. It was somehow different, unique and lovely with a mix of different speeds.

I’m not sure how to define Emma and Savior’s relationship as if slow or fast speed. I’m gonna let you decide by yourself and avoid the spoilers but what I must said is that by lovely above I mean the the kind of sweet talk and everlasting love. They were a unique couple indeed.

Emma was a bounty hunter that work with her 7 brothers and he was the VP of the Haunted Hills MC. Their first encounter initiated the spark between them but one night changed everything forever between them. A stubborn bounty hunter, a VC, along with lots of alcohol, undeniable chemistry and sexy moments. Once their relationship started we were dragged into a journey of surprises and a LOL moments.

Trent a.k.a Savior, I cannot go without mention him because that would be such a crime. He was such a special man. One of a kind. He was lovely, caring, protecting and honest. Every time he spoke to Emma I fell harden in love. The way he treated her but mostly respect her. He was a gentleman dress with a motorcycle jacket.

And also the secondary characters!!! The thing about MC stories and the reason why I love is that there’s always opportunity for more stories of each secondary characters. I’m dying to know is when Vera and Penny are going to bring us more stories because I need Debbie’s story and also Saul’s story! Great collaboration, very well written and perfectly develop. If you’re a lover of MC romance you can’t miss this book and if you aren’t, well Emma and Trent’s story is the perfect beginning for you to fall in love with this trope. Highly recommended!”

What an introduction to the Haunted Hills MC! Savior/Trent and Emma’s story is one heck of a ride. Both main characters are very strong-willed and maybe a little stubborn!! Emma has learned to be tough and stand up for herself – being the only girl with seven brothers, she had two choices, a pampered princess or a kickas$ chick, glad she opted for the latter! Savior is your typical biker, he is an alpha male, protective, loyal and loves hard and fast. What a breath of fresh air Emma is when she walks into his life, she certainly isn’t going to let him walk all over her. She makes that very clear from the start, and although she does give in to some of his demands as the story progresses, I don’t actually see this as giving in or relenting, it’s more about compromise and safety. Their loyalty to one another and their families, both blood and brotherhood are tested throughout the book, and it’s nice to see how they react as individuals, but also as a couple.

This story is jam packed with action and danger, well come on he is the VP of a 1% motorbike club and she is a bounty hunter – I think for most, this book will cover all the bases.

This book leaves you with some unanswered questions, most of them I imagine will lead nicely into the other characters books, although some are about this couple, but I won’t say what they are as that may spoil some of the book!

Love The Man, Love The Club by Penny Anglene is a steamy and enthralling MC read that will keep you entertained throughout the story. Penny Anglene did a wonderful job bringing this story together beautifully. I followed the characters fascinated as their personalities transformed and blended. Vivid detailed descriptions are so life like and on point. The storyline is solid and well defined. Cold showers may be in order when your finished.

I voluntarily submitted an ARC review for this book.

This is the first time i have read a book by this author and it is also the first in this series, I loved Trent/Saviour and Emma. The attraction came when Emma, a bounty hunter had to go to the clubhouse to pick up someone and Saviour couldn't keep his eyes of her. I found there to be a few too many describers, some things should be left to the readers imagination. I found the plot to be a little tame for an MC but overall i enjoyed reading this and I liked the supporting characters and look forward to reading more.

I received a copy and I am voluntarily leaving my own honest opinion

Merged review:

I found this book had a great story. The attraction between Emma and Savoir was believable.
The reason for the 4 stars is that I found it much too tame for a MC story. There was no grit, no angst between characters.
I found that there were almost too many describers for me. I think more needs to be left to the imagination of the reader.
I would recommend this book to others.

These two authors definitely meshed perfectly together with Love the Man, Love the Club, and I'm in love! Trent, aka Savior, is the VP of the Haunted Hills MC, and he always goes by club rules. Emma is a Army Ranger veteran, who is now a bounty hunter with her brothers, and boy can she kick some a**. In fact, she ended up kicking one of Savior's brothers when she came to take said MC brother to the police station, and while Savior was very attracted to her, he talked himself out of pursuing her. Fast forward some days, and Emma & Trent found themselves at the same bar getting so drunk that they finally hooked up, but he couldn't remember it. And that's when things took a very interesting turn, but I'm not naming names or giving the 411. There's drama, super hot sexy times, twists that I didn't see going that way, and a bunch of alpha throwing their weight around. So, in order to see how it all plays out, hit those one click buttons so you (like me) will crave more right after you finish this story! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is the first time i have read a book by this author and it is also the first in this series, I loved Trent/Saviour and Emma and their insta love, the attraction came when Emma, a bounty hunter had to go to the clubhouse to pick up someone and Saviour couldn't keep his eyes of her. I found there to be a few cheesy moments, but i got round that, at the beginning of the book it states that to fully understand some characters then to read a couple of books the author had written before, one named Jax, i didn't but have since found i have the book in my library, guess what I'm reading next. Overall i enjoyed reading this and i liked the supporting characters and look forward to reading more.

Great chemistry!

I really enjoyed this book, my first by Penny and a return to Vera's. I have read a lot of MC books, and never come across a storyline similar to this one. I found myself deeply interested in all the characters introduced and just hope there are lots more to come! A great read indeed!

Trent & Emma

I loved Trent’s character in the Ink-Fusion books and was so happy to see him get his own book. Trent is an alpha biker that has a tender romantic side, watching him fall in love with Emma was a joy! This book was action-packed and I can’t wait for the next one!
