Kinley Cooper was a lot of things – beautiful, athletic, and a little bit eclectic from her green eyes down to her red-painted toenails. She was also a seasoned Coast Guard criminal investigator who more than held her own with in the male dominated field. When she’s paired with NCIS Agent Beau Jerrot, you have to wonder if the sparks in the air is from her smoldering anger of being treated like a junior agent, the sexual tension between them that was about to combust or the terrorists they were trying to neutralize.

The chase took them to the Bahamas where Kinley had a job to do – one she was damn competent at doing. To Agent Jerrot, nothing came before keeping Kinley safe. Kinley was not going to be sidelined from her own case. The terrorist's trail takes them deeper south and into more and more danger. In between gun shots, kidnappings, and chasing bad guys, they find their way into each other's arms, eventually. Kinley breaks the case and Beau breaks everything in his path to save her.

Zoe Dawson drags you into these characters and makes it impossible to put the book down. Another home run!

If like me, you enjoy the NCIS tv show as well as the previous stories in this series, this one is perfect for you.
Once again, the author grabs your attention from the first page to the last.
The main characters are Beau Jerrott and Kinley Cooper. Beau is an NCIS Special Agent who with CGIS SA Kinley, are assigned to work together and figure out what happened with the CG cutter found near Norfolk. Everyone is dead, included a Navy man who was suppose to be on leave.
Why was he there? Why did the cutter come down?
As the two work together, their attraction intensifies while Kinley is determined to be treated as an equal. Being in a male dominated job has her working twice as hard.
The plot is complex and one filled with bad guys, danger, whodunit and of, course romance. But will they survive to find their HEA or will they succumb to the evil determined to end their lives?
Another well written story in this engaging story. I specially appreciated that the author gives us a strong female character.
I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

I love the work of Zoe and this latest NCIS series is just as good as all her previous series The books flow well have a ton of suspense and dram and the sexual tension between Kinley and Beau is enough to ignite a fire storm

Kinley Copper has had to work hard to gain her place in the male dominated world of investigation in the Coast Guard one case put a blot on her record and she wasn't even responsible for it she was just sold out by the man she thought she loved. Now she has the case that could finally put her career back on track and it is handed over to NCIS investigator Beau Jerrott to be the lead. Luckily he is quite willing to work with her something she isn't used to The attraction between them is off the charts but as her past starts to bleed into this latest case will they both survive and will they have a future together You will have to read to see

Action Packed

From a ghost ship in Virginia to a cartel battle in Cuba, this book will keep your heart pounding. Beau and Kinley make the perfect couple. Both afraid of letting go of their carefully planned control. Both afraid to risk their hearts. This book is beautiful crafted as we watch two badass people who must learn to overcome their surprise and fear at the depths of their feelings for each other. Another winner for Zoe Dawson.

The book was too violent for me. Some readers compared the book to the NCIS TV series. I have watched every episode and I don't remember it being this violent.

The book, skipping the violence was okay. I have enjoyed the SEAL series by Zoe Dawson. It has been a while since I read the previous 2 books in the NCIS series. I did like them and will read the next one.

Zoe keeps making every book’s story more appealing, intriguing, dangerous.,out of this world personal connections.Beau has been deeply hurt and had his heart broken years ago so has become one night stand guy.
Kinley has had life torn apart from losing her mother and father and a relationship gone wrong with a
fellow agent who set her up for the fall and a black mark on her CG record.
Kinley and Beau are thrown together in an investigation and sparks fly in more ways than one

Guiding Kinley by Zoe Dawson
An NCIS Series Novel Book Three
United States Coast Guard Special Agent Kinley Cooper's day started out as usual, a jog along the beach, only today was foggy. Like the day when she was sixteen and her life changed. This day, her life changed as well when she hears what sounds like gunshots and finds a Coast Guard ship drifting quietly.

Special Agent Beau Jerrott was hurt by a woman once. That was all it took for him to stick with one-night stands. While on loan to the Norfolk NCIS, his last day brings him into contact with a beautiful redhead and a case that has him staying out of DC a bit longer.

Kinley and Beau end up as a team and head to the Bahamas...dragging their pasts behind them. Great storyline, although some tough situations and outcomes. I really enjoyed this story.
