The characters I write will not be perfect. None of us are. They will make mistakes. All of the hero's will have redeeming qualities, but on the outset, you may not be their biggest fan. My heroine's will be the kind of women you want to hang out with. They're the women next door, down the street and around the corner. They are the ladies you would want to spend time with on a Saturday night drinking a martini.

I have been an avid reader of romance novels since the age of 14 and know what appeals to me as reader. My goal is, and will always be, to provide that same experience for the women and men who read my novellas and short stories.

I’m a former Marine and served for 8 years, so strong military men will always be a favorite topic of mine. I will continue to write stories with military heroes’ front and center. I’m also a fan of Alpha-males and strong women who love with everything they have.

"Absolution" was a sweet but smexy second chance story for H/h, Julian and Kori. I could literally feel this couple's attraction on every page, in almost every chapter til the very end of the sometimes intense story. And the epilogue was just PERFECT with everything tied in a beautiful bow!

Reana Malori is an author who can drawn you in quickly with her lively storytelling while keeping you enameled to the story as each page is turned giving readers her vivid characters, strong comic relief/ and/or sarcasm, a little dirty talkin' along with the memorable love connections.

Now I'm so curious about Kori' sister, Janice and Julian's brother, Steve. This will no doubt be an enemy to lovers story... well I can only hope!

Only death would keep him from her

From the first time he laid eyes on Kori Hughes, Julian MacMahon knew she was the one. The single mother and her son barrelled into his heart when he answered an emergency call when five-year-old Morgan was hit by a car. Julian made sure he was there to support Kirk through Morgan's recovery. But, he had a past that worried his brother Steven and his parents. Kori and Morgan was his healing balm from the past. He was Kori's hero that helped her to move on and love again.

This was a sweet easy read love story. Kori was a single mother who focused all of her energy on her son Morgan. She had not found a man that interested her until Julian came into her life. Julian had just enough time to heal from his previous relationship so when he answered that call and saw Kori, he knew. I can see a new story potential with Janice, Kori's sister, and Steven, Julian's brother. There is definitely some electricity of love-hate attraction going on there and I sure would like to know.

Julian and Kori are an amazing couple and despite the circumstances of how they met and the wounds to their hearts and minds, they find themselves involved. Julian has to deal with ghosts from his past and the rigors of his job as an EMT while navigating the dynamic appeal and draw of Kori and her son Morgan.

Kori while worried about her baby boy feels the pull toward the EMT that helped her little boy. Kori is also plagued with her own baggage but not enough to fight her attrition to Julian. They mutually agree to give this attraction freedom to grow and become something that will be amazing. Throw in little Morgan and the lovefest can only get better or can it?

Buy the book and find out what happens for yourself, you won’t be disappointed.

Seriously, this book is FREAKING GREAT!! I love to read any type of books gives character's another shot at love and Reana Malori is a genius at doing that. Kori and Julian are a couple that make up those dynamics. I was so moved by the fact that Julian was there for them when something like this happened and he showed that he was able to come through. The book has a believable plot, excellent character interaction and it was smoking hot. Thank you for another great read. I highly recommend this book be added to your library.

First read from this author, and will definitely be reading more from her. I loved how Julian stormed into Kori's life, and firmly planted himself there. He was sweet to her, but an alpha for sure! Kori didn't know what hit her, as she had been alone for some time. But, she also felt that attraction and wanted to see where this would go. It was so touching hearing Morgan speak about Julian being his hero, after taking care of him. That little boy was wise beyond his years. However, I am very curious about Steven and Janice. What is up with those two? Really enjoyed the story. 👍👍👍

Only death...

This was a sweet novella. I can't say that I am one that believe in love at first sight but this story read like two souls finding their mate. Julian was a man who knew what he wanted and was not going to stop until it was his. I would have loved to know how exactly he got out of the trouble with his ex and Janice. Oh Janice. I am going to have to read her and Steven's story because she came in chopping his head off while he is in a family crisis. Really sis? But overall good short read

Fun and sexy read

This was a very cute story. It didn't feel super long, but it did feel like a fully fleshed-out story with a well written beginning middle and end. I really enjoyed the characters of Julian and Kori, they definitely had an insta - attraction. They both felt very well developed and I enjoyed the characters getting to know one another. This author is always reliable to craft a very well-written story and this one does not disappoint.

Kori meets Julian when he’s dispatched to treat her son who has been in an accident. The attraction and connection are instant. Julian has a dark past and doesn’t believe he deserves a happily ever after. I loved the buildup of the romance between this couple. Julian’s moments with Morgan (Kori’s son) are heart melting. I wouldn’t be upset by some addition stories tied to this book, namely Julian’s brother.

Looking for something sweet

As usual Reana Malori delivers something short and sweet. We meet Julian, a hero with a gray past and Kori, single mother who has had her heart broken.

Even though the story moved fast you expect that. It didn't feel rushed or pushed to get to the end. This is a good "in between" short story.

when you know, you know

Although this was a quick read it didn’t take away from the story or the emotions that are between the characters. I really enjoyed and have read it more than once.
There are some typos and words in wrong places and some repeated phrases or thoughts but it’s still pretty good. That’s prob the only reason I didn’t give it 5 ⭐️

This was really good! Julian was determined to have Kori and her little son in his life. Reana Malori had written a great story and I was surprised about the location and background of her story which is in my DC/MD/VA area! Mostly DC and VA and my family is from Loudoun County. What a surprise when an author chooses a locale that a reader is familiar with! The next story which is about Julian's brother and Kori's sister is also in the same area!

Great Read!

They met under the worst circumstance. Kori Hughes' five year old son Morgan had been hit by a drunk driver. Julian McMahon was the paramedic who arrived on the scene to help save Kori's son. A tragic twist of fate brought then together, but soon, nothing could keep them apart. Excellent read!

Julian and Lori were such a cute couple. Julian was semi fighting demons from his past that were initiated by a failed relationship. Lori appears to have lost the love of her life and tragedy brings them together. It was nice watching them overcome fears to build something together.

cute, sorry but sweet. I felt like there was a lot more to the back stories of both characters that was skipped over. I'm going to check out other works by this author that may relate to this book.

Nice story

This is a nice story but it is more telling than showing. I read their chemistry but didn't connect to it or feel it. It is short and a little predictable but a nice story with good characters.

I loved this read! Some of the characters were very familiar from other stories (Max, Kiana, Nico, & Lavinia) while the main characters Kori, Julian & Morgan are new.

I love family-oriented stories. I also love stories that have children involved in the dialogue. Also the story wasn't too long
