A STANDALONE book.
WARNING: This book is a LIGHTHEARTED and FUN read with HOT and STEAMY content. It is meant to be read for purely entertainment purposes only.
It was a good read though initially I was confused why the two were acting all too familiar suddenly. I liked the holiday affair part more than the movie star-career woman or old enemy takes.
I found this book very entertaining (specially the misunderstandings in the holiday accommodation). It was nice revisiting characters of "that same old love" and seeing how young Srishti had turned out after all the growing pains. I do recommend it!
Srishti Shah was a career-driven girl who owns a gaming company. She has no time for anything else in her life; her priority has always been her work. She was working hard on her way to success, being a young entrepreneur there were a lot of challenges in her way, but none could stop her. “But fortunately, she was not the kind to wilt under the pressure. She was the kind who thrived under it. Pressure propelled her and drove her to achieve more.” She was bound to be successful with her efforts and talent, but her love life took a drastic turn when her fiancé broke up with her. She lost her confidence in her personal life, she was sure no one could be with her when her priority was her career. Despite her resistance, her parents arranged a meet with a person whom she despises for bullying her in childhood, not that she didn’t gave him what he deserved. “We weren’t playing, Ma. He was always bugging me along with Abhijeet and Abhinav so I beat him up a few times.” Rana was at the top of his game in his career as an actor. He had gone through his share of struggles. But with success came danger, especially in his profession. To get him out of a dangerous situation, his parents brought a proposal of an old family friend’s daughter, he knew her from their childhood. She was the one who was solely responsible to destroy his childhood in more ways than one. He hates her for what she did to him when they were kids and was horrified to find out what she has turned into after all these years. “She’s a she-devil! No way in hell, I’d even consider touching her, let alone marry her!” Their meeting was indeed an interesting moment to treasure. The sparks of the attraction despite their hatred or I would say along with their hatred did spice up the moment. Their memories from their childhood and their escape from reality left them in a fix. “He could not let someone like her simply disappear from his life.” Srishti was sure Rana would soon hate her if she allows anything serious, but Rana’s plan was tempting. Rana was sure what he wanted from their relationship but there was a high chance of losing her if he was not careful with her. ““I will miss you,” he admitted. “But only because you are a dynamite in bed,” he told her, with a smile.” This is an amazing story written by MV Kasi. I fell in love with Srishti’s passion for her career and Rana’s love and dedication for his work. The passionate story of two individuals who are career-driven and ambitious in their life could not stop inevitable. The childhood nemesis who had already find solace with each other but are not ready to accept it so easily; their parents’ expectations does force them to make a deal. A deal that will soon make them honest about their feeling, but of course it’s not going to be that easy. I genuinely loved this story for showing a strong, ambitious girl following her goals, and also finding someone who truly appreciates her love for her career. It was amazing. I will definitely recommend this book to every reader who loves to read a book with passionate romance and ambitious characters. I am looking forward to reading more books by MV Kasi. I loved her writing style, concept, plots and absolutely every aspect of the book.
Can't miss any books by MV Kasi . This story was a wonderful and interestingly captivating like all the other stories by this author. Absolutely brilliant story. Loved Rana and Srishti . I just can't get enough of how beautifully captures the grey shades of human being so perfectly.
This is the first book by this author that I couldn't get through. I just didn't feel the chemistry. I was also disappointed that they'd been with each other before, since the blurb had gotten me excited for an enemies-to-lovers/arranged marriage story
Liked the plot and the overall narrative about the story weaving in an out of the two main characters. This is not a typical read penned by MV kasi. She is much more capable of writing better plot. Don’t expect it to be like Devil Series or Singham Bloodlines.
This is a pretty good book. The story is pretty interesting and I especially loved the way the story is presented. You can feel the connection with the characters.
It was a cute, feel-good romance (for me) and I really liked how sweet their relationship was. I do wish there were more elements to this story, but it's good how it is ❤
