This was such a great read, I devoured it. I could not put it down. The twins were the best. I was so happy that it all turn out perfect.
I hope that there is a book 3 because I need to see how everyone is doing. I want to know about all the new relationships turn out.

Does anyone else have a fascination with reading about twins? I love a good sister story, but if they’re twins I’m super invested and this one hooked me right away. Anna and Amelia were separated at birth and this starts when Amelia shows up on Anna’s doorstep. Anna is thrilled by the news and embraces her sister wholeheartedly, just as she does to all the people in her life. Amelia is more reserved and Anna’s mom and husband are skeptical and when Amelia confesses she’s there to ask Anna for he ...more

4.5 stars.

The Keepsake Sisters by Lori Wilde is an endearing novel about what it means to be family.

Anna Drury is a Moonglow resident who owns a bakery and enjoys a happy marriage. Her husband Kevin travels for his job so she and their two children, 3 year old Logan and 10 year old Allie are on their own quite a bit.  Anna has a huge heart and she is willing to help anyone in need. She volunteers a lot and enjoys playing in a band with her friends. Anna is close to her mother Robin and her broth

Rounding up to 4-1/2 Stars!

This story has a ton of emotion going on between all of the characters. I really liked how Lori switched the POV between Amelia, Anna, and her mother Robin, it gave you different perspective.

I am on the fence with the relationship with Anna and her husband, however I am glad she stood her ground at the end, but I still feel unresolved about it.

You will need Kleenex while reading. I am hoping and looking forward to Moonglow #3!!

Anna Drury is completely beside herself, the woman standing before her is a spitting image of her and is claiming that they are twin sisters. Then she looks at the woman's hands and sees the same baby bracelet she had when she was born, and she instantly knows her story has got to be true. Everyone around Anna is skeptical of Amelia's story and questions her true motives for showing up after all these years. But Anna can't help but be drawn to her... she wants to help her, she is her sister. But ...more

I have been reading Lori Wilde books for over 12 years. I had the honor of meeting she and her assistant Christie. I consider them both friends. I’m really excited Lori Wilde has been releasing so many books lately.
I can’t imagine having a stillborn baby. I definitely can’t imagine not even knowing that happened. Then over 30 years later finding out that my daughter was switched at birth with a baby girl who was actually a twin. I have twins and I can’t imagine them not growing up together. I’m s

First of all, I was captivated by the cover-I love a beach setting. I cannot say enough about the storyline. I enjoyed reading the story of twin sisters separated at birth and the part the midwife played in the separation. We learn about the complex relationship between the sisters and about Anna and her husband's unraveling of their marriage.
I was captivated by the storyline and read the book in one sitting. I recommend Lori Wilde"s books to anyone who loves women's lit. I plan on reading Moon

I read this book at just the right time. The premise is that twins were separated at birth and grew up in very different homes. They discover each other when one is in desperate need of a kidney transplant. This is not really a romance- it's more accurately women's lit, but the internal and external relationships are really well written. How much can you give of yourself in a relationship and still be true to yourself? How much can you expect in return?

There were some complicated emotional confl

The cover is so inviting and picturesque. The Keepsake Sisters is such a fulfilling read. I've always liked books that end well and everything is sorted out, but never have they been more important in my reading stack than this year. Anna's life is turned upside down when her twins sister, Amelia, materializes out of nowhere. I did think Anna was very hasty, gullible, and way too accepting toward a complete stranger so I think her husband, Kevin's feelings were justified. There was a lot of char ...more

This was an amazing book with so many ups and downs I felt like I was on a roller coaster at times. During a hurricane the electricity goes out and two women give birth in the dark. One woman gives birth to a stillborn girl. The second woman was just passing through town when she went into labor and gave birth to twin girls. One wanted a child more than anything, the other seemed uncaring. In the dark, the midwife and the father of the dead baby make a decision that will change lives forever - t ...more

THE KEEPSAKE SISTERS, book two of the Moonglow Cove series by Lori Wilde, is a heartwarming story about sisters separated at birth. It is not a happy reunion Anna thought it would be when Amelia reveals the truth behind her visit to Moonglow. Lori Wilde is a superb storyteller in creating this story about a family being there for one another, and how love overcomes obstacles in the lives of her characters. THE KEEPSAKE SISTERS is an emotional journey about twin sisters who are different as night ...more

Anna has pretty much everything she could ever ask for. She is married to her high school sweetheart, has two young children, and is living in Moonglow Cove, the community where she was born and raised. She has a close relationship with her in-laws, her brother and his family, and often sees her mother. She runs the town bakery and her husband, Kevin, is often on the road selling insurance. They don’t have much money but they sure love each other. Life is perfect...until the doorbell rings and A ...more

This book started off great. However, it started to fall apart a bit when Anna's husband, who was worried about the arrival of an unknown twin sister of Anna's, was skeptical of Amelia (the twin). He is worried for his family's safety, yet leaves for a work trip and tells Anna not to call him! If he was really concerned, he'd stay in touch with his family!
It got better after that, but then when the revealing moment of why Amelia was there happened, the characters just didn't act inline with how

This was a heartwarming story about two twins sisters who have reunited after being separated at birth. I liked how neither Anna or Amelia knew that the other existed and I enjoyed learning about how that happened.

Anna’s husband and her mother were not very welcoming of Amelia which is understandable because they were worried about what her ulterior motives were. I didn’t like Anna’s husband because I found him to be very abrasive and selfish. There were secrets and twists throughout this story

Quick thoughts:

Really love this cover.

I loved the twins- Amelia and Anna. I loved Anna's capacity for loving others and Amelia- well, on the surface she may not look like she had much to love- she was stand-offish at times. But sometimes those are some of the best characters because they have an extra layer or 2 that just needs the right person to coax them out of their "normal" behavior.

A feel good story.

I received this book as an ARC through Goodreads.
I found this book to be a delightful, emotional, ride of a story. It felt at times like riding on a wave and then crashing on the shore. So lovely and heartfelt. There were so many facets to main story that it never had a boring or flat moment. In a time when the world has been turned up-side-down for far too long a warm, embracing, happy ending story feels good.

Anna gets a shock when she opens her door to a twin, Amelia, she didn’t know existed. As Anna and Amelia try to unravel their story, Anna’s husband and mother are not happy with the disruption. Anna has a family, two children, and is well loved in Moonglow Cove. The story unfolds in a somewhat predictable, but still heartwarming way that does capture your interest. I enjoyed it and would recommend to readers of women’s fiction. Thanks to Edelweiss for the ARC.

Anna’s life is turned upside down when her identical twin sister Amelia shows up on her doorstep. The twin Anna never knew she had. How did the twins get separated? They both have lived polar opposite lives, but the twin connection is there. Lots of emotional issues and conflict in this book. What is the definition of family? Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy.

A stunning story about the definition of family. Seperated at birth identical twin sisters. Appearing the same but very different personalities, very different lives and the age old nature vs nurture question. I was riveted. Absolutely beautiful.

This was awesome book. The story grabbed a hold of me and I couldn't put it down. The journey of these twins(sisters) finding their way to each other. I laughed, cried, laughed again. After I finished reading this I had to call my sister and I am sending them a copy of this book. ...more

The Keepsake Sisters!!

This story is so heartwarming!! I love Anna and her sweet heart. Amelia with her hard upbringing to learn her twin sister was alive, when she’d been told her whole life that she died at birth. Fantastic book.

Lori Wilde can’t remember a time when she didn’t want to write. She even went to nursing school so she could have a schedule flexible enough to allow her to write on the side. She nursed for 20 years, working in a variety of settings from the newborn nursery to the recovery room, to dialysis. But she never lost her desire to write.
