This story is pretty nuts. It is missing a huge chunk of scenes and backstory cause the hero's 'huge bulge behind his zipper' is nuts. Just grabbing, kissing, sexing all over the heroine who is as confused as the us the readers. And the cover is bad. Read for hate reading sake.

Loved the narration of Jenni Reilly

Artist Lacey Owens is home for some rest. But an escaped prisoner has revenge on his mind for the woman who helped send him to prison. Chase Saunders is the ranch foreman and is hot and sexy. Finding her life threatened, through these two together. Even with her independent nature and his arrogant, high-handed methods and tempers ignite. Hot chemistry is also ignited.

This book is full of heat and steam.

DNF at about 20%. The writing is very poor and unsophisticated. Clunky dialogue. No character introduction or development. Way too many exclamation points. A professional editor is needed here both for development of the story and the prose. Lacey is absurdly irritating and Chase is not even a real character. Just because you can write a book doesn’t mean you should. Very disappointing.

This heroine is a spoiled brat and the hero is a city person's stereotypical idea of a cowboy. I couldn't finish it.
