The second book in the Never series. The story of PJ and Davis.
I really enjoyed their story. Davis was the typical growls alpha, man of few words militarily mercenary. PJ is the youngest girl of four overprotective brothers and she has never been kissed.
Very well written slow burn romance. Steam level is lower than most of this author’s books. Must read the first book in the series in order to follow along in this story. If you are looking for quick reads I recommend these books by Lucy Darling.

Okay, so before I get on with the review, I would like to thank Tani for reminding me to write a review since I forgot😂🙈 Do not blame me cause I've actually been ranting in my mind about so many things that could've been better in the book, but then I just forgot to pen them down or write a review.
That being said, there were a couple of things in the book that bothered me. Starting with the fact that I felt that this book was a little long for a novella. I also believe that the author could've given us more insight on the characters, like:
→ We know Pj (h) works for security. But that's just it! security wth am I supposed to make out from that?
→ We do not know what Bow does.
→ They have met once before, but when Pj punched a guy in front of him. Shouldn't I be getting more insight on their first meeting? I mean I thought that "the first meet" was actually important!
→ Their relationship was very unrealistic
→ Their living arrangement was unrealistic
→ Hell, everything in the book was unrealistic!
So, she stays at this house/place/whatever-u-wanna-call-it and Bow is her neighbour. Now this is because, her best friend has a boyfriend/husband/whoever-the-hell-he-is, Jameson. Now, Jameson and Bow are apparently best friends and business partners because they own some land and oil or some crap. She is staying there because her best friend asked her to or something and it is raining/thundering outside. And, she is scared of thunder and Bow chooses the exact same time to
This wasn't Insta-love! It is categorised as one but it isn't! I mean you met each other twice before but that time neither of them said something about the other, but now that you lived to together for 7 hours, you're suddenly in love?
This book was absurdity, co-incidence and unrealisticness at its highest! The 3 stars that I gave this book is because they had their moments and well, I'm generous that way
Anyway, I wouldn't really recommend this book since it was a whole big 'meh' for me. Though, this book will not stop me from future reads by this author!
(P.S: I actually created a shelf called 'Insta-love-ishh' for this book since there is no way I'm shelving it as 'Insta-love'😂🙈 And no, "unrealisticness" isn't a word, this book has me doing all kinds of crazy shit)

Pretty fast pace novella and little steam.
We met PJ and Bowen aka Davis (his last name) in Never let go book now its there turn :)
Pj has been living the bodyguard life watching over her client and bff Bunny now that things sorta calmed down its time for her to enjoy life not being a bodyguard (sorta) and relaxing at the Ranch with Bunny and her man but she has a admire Bowen who also has his eyes on her when he saw her sucker punch the bad guy. Their relationship is so cute and fluffy. Saving her from thunder storms and cuddling moods. But not all is sunshine and rainbows Bowen does have a secert that i wish PJ would have "played" being mad at him for not telling her his real job or he left for a week. Just to drive him crazy. He is in special forces.
No ow/om drama, no cheating, Slight secondary charas, sexy times, both virgins

Finally! Davis and PJ! I have been anxiously waiting for their story. This did not disappoint. Davis right away steps in to take care of PJ. sweet and steamy and short! I wish it was a bit longer. The dialogue between characters is great. I so wish Mason would get a story.

Lucy is one of my favourite authors. And this story is right up there as one of my favourites from her.
PJ has has never been kissed, never had someone to call her own. With five older brothers you can guess why. She’s funny, sweet and she’s also able to take care of herself. Working as a bodyguard for her brothers business she knows how to take care of herself. But that doesn’t mean she yearns for something or someone.
Bowen Davis is alone. He lost his parents and the perfect family they were. He’s also a killing machine for the government. He’s never worried before going on a mission at the last minute. But that changes when he meets PJ. She’s the missing link. The loner is now hooked on the sweetness that is her.
The banter is super cute. The chemistry is intense. These two both need the other like they need air.
If you love strong Alphas who also happen to be virgins (both of them) then one click this read.
No drama. No cheating. Just a phenomenal happily ever after!

I like how the h is a BADASS AAAAND sweet and cute at the same time. she can kill men with bare fists , but i scared of thunderstorms....😂😂. ADORABLE.😘

Lucy's books usually have Ella Goode vibe.
Don't exactly remember the age-gap b/w the MCs(sorry Diksha🥺)...but it wasn't more than 10.

Oh how I loved PJ and Davis. PJ may be a bodyguard and able to take care of herself, but when it comes to Bow, she’s not afraid to show her vulnerabilities. Bow is ready to show her his love and convince her that she needs to stay forever.

PJ ya no necesita ser la guardaespaldas de Bunny así que ahora no sabe qué hacer ahora con su vida. This was just an okay read. The best part was that it was a dual v*rgin read. I was disappointed that there really wasn’t any significant dark spots. Even where there could have been conflict… poof! Nothing.

PJ and Bowen meet in the previous book. (You can read this one all on its own.) Lust or maybe even love at first sight.
Bowen takes advantage of the situation when he learns PJ is terrified of storms. What better way then comforting her to move her in??? Smart man!
Great chemistry with these two and loved seeing the characters from the previous story.

Now this is my favorite Lucy Darling book to date. So freaking good. I loved how Davis was alpha, possessive, OTT gone for PJ but also how vulnerable he was. He did one of my favorite things that an H can do and that's fall to his knees in front of her and beg her....well, I think you just need to read this to see what he does.

Aunque me gustaron mucho Bunny y Jameson, Davis y PJ están a años luz por encima de ellos. Amo a un tipo grande que no habla mucho ademas de gruñón y definitivamente del tipo fuerte y silencioso. Ella sabe cuidarse sola pero se siente más segura con él de lo que nunca se sintió en su vida.

I'm not sure if reading the previous book in the series is required, but maybe it would have made this one make more sense.

As much as I loved Bunny and Jameson, Davis and PJ are lightyears above them! I love a big guy who doesn't talk much. That is literally my absolute favorite trope. Davis is immediately, obsessively attracted to PJ and the feeling is mutual. The way he takes care of her is swoonworthy and she falls quickly in love with him. Oh heavens, I am not doing this one justice at all. I adored the characters, how they fit together so perfectly. Ms Darling's books are novella heaven, like fresh cronuts sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. I always gobble them up immediately, gorging on them and I regret nothing, ever! Cannot wait for the next treat from the talented Lucy Darling!

So cozy and insta-sweet. The tiny spitfire and the silent loner fall hopelessly in love.
I liked that they are dangerous on their own, but when they meet they become lovers who cannot stay apart. This couple, PJ and Davis, are glued to each other and explore all their first feelings and desires together. Cabin fever gets a new, steamy meaning with them :-D
It's adorable that they find tender love in a world that had deprived them of so much. Davis promises to do everything and anything for her. I also loved that his little secret creates a bit anxiety that is more than compensated by PJ's steadfast trust in him and her strong character.
There are cute scenes with Bunny and Jameson (previous novella), a pet, a possessive brother who deserves his own story, and good family times. Really sweet.

We met Pj and Davis in never let go, so we had a taste of their characters. Davis leading the secret life he lives and the loses he’s been through doesn’t believe he is capable of love and being there for someone, until he sets his eyes on Pj, he is driven to her without being able to stop himself, Pj is tough as nails but when it comes to Davis she won’t stop until she’s soften the bear of a man. Their love story was so organic and sweet...when the storm hits nothing can keep them apart.. not over protective brothers or spiders!

This book was a lot of fun.
I absolutely loved that PJ was a tough as nails, can hold her own, bodyguard who has this super sweet and nurturing core. She was a leading lady I could totally get behind.
Now Bow, he's the typical strong silent military man...but is he??? There is so much more to him then meets the eye and the core of who he is melted my heart.
I enjoyed the flow of the book and how everything felt natural and organic not at all rushed to get the story to the HEA.

I've been looking forward to reading this story from the moment I finish Bunny and Jameson's book.
This story is super sweet and romantic, as I expected it to be. PJ is the perfect match for Bow, she brings out the best in him and that's very beautiful.
What I need is a spin-off of the children, I want to know more.

Never Been Kissed by Lucy Darling is the story of PJ and Davis. We meet them in the previous book 'Never Let Go', but this is a standalone book. PJ and Davis have a instant lust/love from their first site of each other. But Davis is a secretive and quiet man of few words. But he knows what he wants and he goes for it. Hot quick read!.

I always love reading books by this author and I always look forward to her books when a new release comes out. Her writing style is great and this Insta love story was beautiful. This is a quick, sweet Insta love story and watching the romance blossom between them both is super sweet.
PJ is a girl with a lot of brothers and they are very over protective of her and they always look out for her and make sure she is safe. Her older brother especially has had to sacrifice a lot to. PJ es la guardaespaldas personal y mejor amiga de Bunny pero ella ya no la necesita para protegerla, para eso tiene a su hombre. Eso no impide que como mejor amiga le pida a PJ que se quede por un tiempo en una pequeña cabaña dentro de los límites de sus tierras. Lo que es para PJ unas vacaciones para reencontrarse a sí misma para Davis es una oportunidad para conquistar a la mujer de sus sueños que lo mantiene cautivado desde el momento en que la vio noquear al acosador de Bunny.
PJ es lo que podría llamarse una mujer fuerte, independiente y muy capaz pero tiene un gran miedo por las tormentas y ni hablar de los insectos, es decir, todo lo que no puede controlar. Por lo que luego de lanzar un grito que probablemente no se escucharía con tantos truenos Davis irrumpe en la casa en plan "Dios vengador", claramente fue invocado por ella, no porque haya estado frente a su casa por horas desde que ella fue ubicada esperando ser iluminado con alguna excusa lo suficientemente buena como para tocar a la puerta hasta que su perro lo arrastró a la entrada. Claro que no.
Davis la salva de la malvada tormenta y la lleva a su búnker que él se esfuerza por llamar "sótano". Tres doritos después y una tormenta excesivamente larga da inicio a una de las relaciones amorosas más románticas de Lucy Darling garantizándonos un final feliz. Son una pareja increíble y Davis es un hombre encantador que te hará suspirar.

This author is seriously becoming my favorite!
Wowza! What an awesome little gem this story was—a guarded, surly loner with a highly classified job and a tough woman with a soft, sweet core just wanting to be loved and cherished come together in this magical story of first times.
Davis (bow is his first name) is adorable in how much he wants the heroine but doesn’t quite know how to woo her. He was possessive and obsessed, but oddly adorable

Good book
I liked this book. It was interesting and a pretty quick read. I like that the H was special forces just wish more of that was in this book. Like I loved the back story if him being called monk. And how he was a strong silent type. The steam was detailed and interesting 3.5/5.

I just loved Bow & PJ together. I loved that PJ was smart and confidant and knew Bow loved her. And I love that Bow loved her so completely. This one really hit the mark for me. I can't wait to get the story of their oldest son & Bunny/Jameson's daughter.

I LOVED THIS STORY! It was thoroughly entertaining and very enjoyable. The characters were interesting and well developed. Getting to see more of the softer side of PJ/Precious from "Never Let Go" was awesome. Also, getting to check in with Jameson and Bunny was great too!

Davis/Bowen was all-in with PJ/Precious from the beginning. Bowen was just worried about figuring out how to get her on the same page as him not realizing that PJ felt the same way. The way PJ gave her trust to Bowen was so beautiful and wonderful. I can't imagine meeting someone and instinctively trusting them as much as PJ trusted Bowen. I adored the spider incident! I could totally see that happening! Their happy ever after made me happy. I recommend reading this book.
