Book Review - 109⁣

The writing style was average, there were few to no grammatical mistakes but there wasn't anything exceptionally catchy about it. The narrative was a quite average as well. It would have been much more effective if the narrative had scratched a little bit more below the surface.⁣

I felt the plot could have been much better. In a lot of places, the plot points were quite cliche and unrealistic. Despite the fact that this was a fantasy book and there was a lot of potential to develop the plot in a much better way, the potential wasn't really utilized. ⁣

The characters in the book were up to a point developed and three dimensional. Asherah is shown to be a typical angry and judgemental princess with a sharp brain. But most of the characters (apart from the protagonists) weren't paid much attention, they weren't developed properly, either. Mostly, they were just left in the background. Apart from that, there was nothing unique or surprising about the characters, they were just very cliche.⁣

The world building was done quite well. I enjoy reading about this world that was shown to me by the author.⁣

An attempt to show warious features of a woman was done to show through the character of Asherah who is just a teenager but an ancient goddess as well. The concepts which were delved into through this duality of this character was quite well written. ⁣

Overall, it was an okay one time read.⁣

Asherah: The warrior Princess is handcrafted with full of mythological fiction by Rubina Ramesh. The story revolves around a nine year of girl, the lead character Princess Asherah. The young Princess was dealing with nightmares at the age of 9..

As soon as she was growing, she started learning new perspective for every situation and steadily the nightmares got faded through her mind.

Her fate had always been tougher.

-once you start reading many questions would come to your mind which will keep you hooked up in the story.

-There was perfect amount of romance to keep a romance lover hooked..

-This book is lead of female character which shows many thing that a female can do. They are warriors too.

-The writing was one of the best I ever came across. The flow of writing was fantastic, words weren't complex, easy to go.

-Characterzation build up is apt and really strong.

It made me feel them and obviously it is nice to see characters getting close connection to my heart.

-I like the cover. It is beautiful and possess really amazing and strong features.

One of the best read.

Asherah is the daughter of King Orion and Queen Inat and the princess of Khirbet. When she was nine year's old,she started to have nightmares which were so disturbing that she even became afraid to sleep. Her uncle when saw her in this condition seeked out the help of Lord El The Supreme God.The Lord El then agrees to help Asherah but on a condition.Everything was fine till her 16th birthday when her nightmares returned after Khirbet received a letter from Sandor from whom not only humans but Gods were also afraid of.When Asherah learns about her kingdom being threatened she transforms from a princess to a warrior. And from then embarks on the journey on defeating Sandor. What were Asherah's nightmare? What was the condition of Lord El for saving Asherah? Will Asherah win against Sandor?

This book was my first book that I read by the author. The author tries to do a nice job of creating the world of Supreme God,Gods, humans. The language of the book was easy as well as the book was nicely edited.I definitely liked the concept of the book and personally I believe the story had great potential but somewhere it couldn't reach that. The theme of the book is good wins over evil and both male and female are equal. The best thing that I liked about the book was though the author portrays Asherah as a strong women she didn't forget to show her emotional side too.Personally I want to know more about Lord El.

Overall a quick read.If you are looking for a lightweight fantasy/mythological read or if you want to read a fantasy read you can give this book a shot.

The story is about Asherah, a Warrior Princess as the name suggests who falls in love with Hanish. But the love is forbidden because they are bound to their respective duties. The warrior princess is humble and a person with good intentions. It has a alot of plot variations where it is actually proved like when Asherah has to protect her nation or when she fell in love or when she had to travell her past to know about her future.

The book has unearthed a mini darkling. The theme goes furnished with mystery and intrigues of royal family, forbidden love , the will to win and most importantly the evolution! For a YA Fantasy, the author Rubina has written beautifully. She writes with a balanced combination of short, concise simplicity with an ounce of lyricism.

Although I would not have minded a little bit of action in the book however to keep things interesting. But overall, I enjoyed myself too much to complain. Would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a Fantasy with Indian mythological references in it and a dark theme with time travelling then you should definitely pick this book!

Asherah is the new fantasy novel by a Indian female author with a female protagonist . And let me tell you this the previous sentence contains 3 of my favourite things
1) fantasy
2 ) Indian female author
3 ) female protagonist
So , therefore this book was a must read for me . The book is basically a story of a female warrior princess who born to kill a evil godling.
The book is very well written and the beginning itself grabs your attention . The book begins with a war scene when the protagonist lay defeated . And author has very crafty arisen many questions in the first few paragraphs itself which would make you want to read the book.
The storyline of the book is very interesting and filled with twist and turn . The characterisation is versatile . Both human and gods have been appropriate portrayed .
The language used is simple and grammatically correct which makes the narration smooth and effective .
Overall I think it was a great book .

Rubina has not penned a stereotype story where girl meets a boy and falls in love. She has narrated chivalry and courtly love in medieval manner. The book cover itself has striking profile too. It depicts the metamorphosis of Asherah from her birth to being the queen.

The prologue unravels with present day where Asherah is inflicted by a young revengeful man Sandor and the plea of familiar faces are ringing in her ears where she lays wounded on floor.

The story further takes us in Khirbet in past where the nine year young Asherah is haunted by a sinister dreams every night so much that she was frightened to even fall asleep. The king Orion & queen Inat were worried for their princess's strenuous situation. Lord El rescued them from this situation, alas he knew it was temporary solution.

She grows up to be a fierce warrior and aims to make reign terror free. Sandor was creating macabre situation relentlessly to acquire their kingdom. The godlings were aided and abetted by him. She leaves on a mission to conquer him and while nearing the victory she is summoned back abruptly by King Orion.

The story interested me as reader to seek the real reason behind it. It unravels the fact of her childhood marriage with Lord El which she finds shocking and unacceptable since it is done without her consent or knowledge! She embarks on an emotional odyssey to rediscover everything. I love the transformation done by Rubina where the story naturally shifts to sweet and soft romantic angle. We can feel the strong attraction and infatuation Asherah feels for Hanish despite being married. The prerequisites for starting a chivalric romance is inscribed very well. The epilogue sums up the whole story skillfully and satisfactorily which reveals the birth of Elmirah - the Goddess of desire in the end. So... Looking forward to read how story further shapes up.
This light and intersting story reminded me the stories which I used to insist my parents telling me of kings and queens in my childhood. I will give this book three and half stars from my side.

A story worth reading

Asherah: The Warrior Princess is a story of a princess Asherah who was destined to be a bride to Lord El, the first man of this earth. When she was not even nine, her memory was erased so that she would be free of her nightmares. As she grew up to be a warrior, she finds herself in the battle with Sandoor who cant be killed by anyone other than his mother. To know who Asherah and will she defeated Sandoor, one must read the story.

Review:
- The cover is so beautiful and attractive.
- The title is apt for the story.
- The plot is unique and I loved every bit of it...starting from Asherah falling in love with the stable boy Hanish and then the parrot who speaks.
- The story is narrated so well without any confusion. I enjoyed the suspense being revealed bit by bit regarding her marriage, then about her identity, who Sandoor is and also the ending was so good.
- The characters were very strong and my favorite is Hanish.

Finally, I am eagerly waiting to read about Elmirah- the goddess of Desire and know whether the fire or water would win her heart.

The book is based on the Greek mythology and driven sharply by the author. Despite being a Goddess how Elat's desire to have a child of her own flesh effects the whole plot is interesting to witness.....✨ The story starts with the battlefield where the warrior princess Asherah laying down on the floor with swollen eyes and bloody face having Hanish aside her and the story ends with the same note.....✨Asherah was chosen by the ancient God El to kill the most powerful powery Sandor who born out of the flesh and blood of Elat and Anu; the superior Gods.....✨The journey upholds the real identity of who actually Asherah is ?how she posses such countless power? why those nightmares often threatened her from a very tender age? and how without her concern the ancient God dare to marry her?.....✨The story has a gist similar to today's sophisticated society. How a woman need to obey the orders or advice given by the man and don't posses any kind of rights to question upon them; no matter what title she holds.....✨ The bond between the soulmates are beautifully garnished with various blossoms .The desire to conceive a baby in the womb is beyond the Goddess control also.....✨At first while reading the former chapters it seems like the angle's are mismatched but soon it seems to taking shape in a beautiful way and all the characters are intermingled with each other.....✨The obsession over one's power is what the plot is about. Sandor was obsessed with his power but as wise people says ' evil can't win over goodness' so Sandor was meant to be destroyed . ....✨I was never much into mythology , but after reading this one i feel like i have ignored a major taste in literature.....✨overall a great read, strongly recommend .

Aserah: The Warrior Princess

The story is about Asherah's fate when she was just 9 years old. When she grows old, she has to face a battle against the Godling Sandor. She grew up to become a great warrior.

"She was bound to be the bride of the first man, but she finds love in the forbidden."

The author has written the book in an amazing way. The plot is very very unique and finding woman protagonist in the book is so awesome. It will give you goosebumps for sure. You will be awestruck by the authorvs way of writing. It's just freaking awesome.

The book starts on a state of war but there is a relation of mother-child. A very very suspenseful story that will keep you hooked till the end for sure. This is a romatic novel with a hint of mythology and war to it which is such an amazing thought.

The cover is so so good. It's really damn awesome. A reader will surely fall in love. The language used is simple. Must Read for all.

Review: This book is about a war, not a physical war, but war of emotions, Author use the concept of Yin-yang, concept of god and wises, women rights, re-icarnation, mother son love, parents love for there children, biased love of mother towards children, concept of win of good over bad, gender equality behaviour of the one who get power but don't understand the responsibility to handle it.
The author make it a double plot story before and after re-icarnation of characters, but did something clever that will change dynamics in re-icarnation birth and that is highlight of this novel.
Cover although give you the impression of a physical war scene that might happen, but make it war of emotional level and then of physical level.
They novel show many faces of women , as daughter, mother, seductress, wife, warrior, princess, lover and most importantly as goddess.

And then comes the Lord's stable hand Hanish, the love of her life.

Hanish knew that somewhere deep inside his heart, he loved Asherah, but it was not a right thing with regards to his loyalty for the Lord.

So, know the battle was going to happen.

Asherah was ready and on the other hand sander was also ready.

So, now what will happen?

Will Asherah get her true love or not?

Asherah-The Warrior Princess is a wonderfully written fantasy story. Taking cue from mythological stories and weaving her own world, Rubina has managed to create a world that seems real and gives an immersive experience to the reader. The storytelling is intriguing and binds the reader into the story till the last page. With the world of Humans, Gods and Godlings, she has successfully given life to a trilogy that will interest people of all ages. The amount of detailing put into the setting, location and the details of the story is praiseworthy. The tempo of the story doesn’t drop at any point in time and manages to create a feeling of awe. I loved the way the climax of this book was penned, and the micro details of the places and the fire was a cherry atop the cake that was this story.

Coming to the characters, while this book focused on Asherah and her story, Rubina also managed to properly create the base for the upcoming books in the trilogy. The mysterious character of Lord El was someone I was amazed by. Even though he was not a part of many scenes, his image was surprisingly very clear in my mind. The character of Hanish was a welcome surprise and from his introduction to the last scene, he was a force to be reckoned with throughout. I liked the character of Mohawk and I hope he gets quite some time in the upcoming books. Finally coming to Asherah, I am yet to see such a detailed character in a fantasy book. With a warrior’s personality and a romantic heart, different hues of her were visible at different parts of the book. The scene in the climax almost took my breath away and it is evident that the effect of the characterization was such that I could imagine the pain she was feeling.

Overall, this trilogy goes up on my reading list and I cannot wait for the second book to come out sooner!

I fell in love with the cover the moment I saw it—the colours and the background are simply awesome. But what really catches one’s eye is the young warrior princess in the foreground.
I just had to read the book when it was ready. What hit me strongly was the beginning when that beautiful face—yes, I mean the one on the cover—is badly injured, with one eye swollen and one half of the face covered in dried up blood. Ouch!
But then, that’s Rubina Ramesh’s writing for you, as hard as a slap in your face, making you sit back and take note.
With such a prologue, I was completely hooked.
There was a time when I was completely crazy about fairy tales. Reading this fantasy, I realised that I have not outgrown the love for magic lands and Gods and Goddesses stepping into the land of humans and interacting with them.
The mysterious Lord El, the most powerful being in the universe, appears like a wisp of smoke in the story. His presence is strong but he’s rarely present physically. That takes some writing skills indeed to weave those scenes.
Then there is the handsome stable boy Hamish. He is introduced so beautifully and impactfully—racing side by side with his horse. The scene gets etched behind one’s eyelids when you read the same.
I couldn’t help but feel desperate that Hamish and Asherah should get together. But I could see the impossibility of it as she is already wedded to the most ancient God El.
Oh God! What a tangle!
And into this is thrown a parrot that talks. Mohawk not just speaks but is extremely intelligent as well.
The story is pretty simple and straightforward or so it seems in the beginning. There is the evil Sandor who wants to capture young Princess Asherah. Refusing to give in to his demands, she sets out to fight him. While many battles take place, Asherah winning each one of them, Sandor himself continues to remain elusive. In the meanwhile, his powers seem to increase at an incredible pace.
Will Asherah be able to vanquish Sandor and find happiness with the love of her life? Read the story to find out more.
If you like magic and fantasy, you should definitely not miss this latest book by Rubina Ramesh.

Asherah: The Warrior Princess written by Rubina Ramesh is about Asherah's fate that was decided for her when she was nine years old and now she must follow the promise and prepare herself for the war against the Godling ,Sandor.
.
Wow! I did not expect a romantic book to keep me so much invested in the book.
.
The book starts on a state of war but there is a relation of mother-child. An intense suspicious opening to a story.
.
I really like the contemporary writing and giving a voice to the female character in a way we would give in this era.
.
The main characters not only have a graph but have a strong voice of dissent which was a delight to read considering the story is set in Greek mythology.
.
A romantic novel, describes the romantic moments between the characters beautifully and explores love beautifully.
.
I really enjoyed the inner turmoil of Asherah where she asks herself, with who she is supposed to be and who people want her to be with.
.
The above scenarios in the book points out the patriarchal society that even women who are warriors sometimes don't get a life they want. .
The book explores relationships of parents and child and seeks the motherhood that women identify with very strongly.
.
The mother-child relationship poses questions within us and also lets us look at the relationship in different ways.
.
Romance has its way in the story in a stereotypical way but the historical/mythological touch in the story makes it interesting.
.
You must read it. It's worth a read for the Greek mythology and romance together.

A beautiful cover design , going well with the overall vibe of the book. This is my second book by Rubina , and she did not disappoint at all.
It is a story of Princess Asherah - The Warrior Princess. With no memory of her past nightmares , she grew up to be a warrior. A war against Sandor and she have to destroy him. The Battle of Uruk shows the type of warrior Asherah is. How she eliminated every Godling created by Sandor. All her life she prepared to fight Sandor and end his reign of terror and abuse. This book gives an adrenaline rush and intoxicates with it's war , rage and oath. It is designed in a way that it's impossible to let it go. Each character has its own essence but doesn't overpower other characters. It has a good narration style , which makes reader anticipate about what's next. Every piece of information , every detail unfolds at the right time and surprises the reader. The protagonist Asherah's character is well defined. Her thoughts , her emotions are very well conveyed and it connects to the reader on an emotional level. It's a well knitted story with lots ups and down. Language is simple and it bonds the reader to it. Overall I would say it was an amazing experience reading this book. It's something I enjoyed reading. A well written book. Give it a try. Worth reading.

Asherah - The Warrior Princess
Book 1 - The Godesses Trilogy

Author - Rubina Ramesh
Genre- Fantasy
Rating - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have always been a fan of Rubina’s and this book is surely no different. As attractive as the book cover the story is equally entertaining.

This is the story of princess Asherah who is known for her bravery and strength and dearly called the warrior princess, she is at war with the irate demon Sandor.

When she comes to know about her secret marriage with the one greatest God Lord El, she is furious and sets out to confront him, but instead she gets pulled into a love affair with his stable boy Hanish.

How will this princess become the goddess she is destined to become? Will this forbidden love cause more trouble? Will she ever be able to defeat mighty Sandor ?

Grab a copy not to find out the answers, the book is interesting and fast paced, to keep you hooked to it from start to end.

❤️ the romance is so real yet dreamy
❤️ Mohawk is a great character
❤️ the story is well written and depicted

Thank for the recommendation #mysecretbookshelf

ASHERAH
THE WARRIOR PRINCESS
BY RUBINA RAMESH

The books where female is main protagonist attracts me the most. Well this is one of the books where the author has done amazing job by making female the lead hero.

Okay so the story starts in amidst of the war. Being a princess ASHERAH, protagonist is fierce warrior, who has no memory of her past. Bound to be married to first man, instead she fall in love with the forbidden one. And then there is a relation of mother and child. A story full of so many suspense. The thing that I never expected was, that this is romantic novel. Yes this book is a romantic novel.

What I really like is the plot twist and the character development which is just outstanding. I can read this book any time anywhere. Language is easy. Book is medium paced and is enjoyable at every step. Over all a very good read!

It was really great to read this book because his book touched different and various aspects like there is element of love and romance, and there is element of war, this book also talk about the love and bond between mother and child and it also have the element of mythology because the story is set in that way. It also state the feeling of woman and it give readers a chance to look from their perspective. This book is about the story of war which happens between Godling,Sandor and Asherah, the warrior princess. With no memory of her past nightmares, she grew up to be a warrior. She want to make reign terror free and mostly all of her life spent in service of her reign. Talking about the element of love mentioned in the book when she was young she was suppose to marry Lord El but she falls in love with Hanish but he cannot love her back as it was forbidden. The love of mother and child is also very nicely portrait ed. Overall, I would say this book is a great read which amazing story line, great plot, and beautiful cover.

Name of the book - Asherah : the warrior princess.
Author - Rubina Ramesh.

This book is set in the early times where warriors ruled the world. Although being a warrior was not at all easy. One had to go through a lot of hardships to achieve what they wanted.
And so did Asherah, our warrior princess.
She had no memory of her past. Therefore all she had was her present. Being entitled to marry another person she finds herself already in love with the forbidden.

This book contains a lot of mysteries that are revealed one by one. Starting from executing every godling of Sandor to preparing to execute Sandor himself.
Every fight will make you feel the rage, the anger, the curiosity from within.

The language is lucid and the vocabulary used is nice. The characters developments, mostly of the lead character, Asherah has been shown well.

A must read.

The story of princess asherah, who has no memory of her past nightmares, grew up to be a great warrior.
She gets bound by the duty to destroy the undestroyable. Will she be able to do that?

She was bound to be the bride of the first man, but she finds love in the forbidden. But, it wasn't going to be just the forbidden love in itself, there are so many things which Asherah finds out that pushes her into travel to her past to discover the truths.

Reading the blurb, you must have understood how breathtakingly beautiful the plot must be. The unique concept of this book is the fact that nothing is revealed all together, it comes slowly, at the right time, be that about Sandor, or about Asherah.
The characters are very well developed, and they tend to become so close to our hearts.
I like how the storyline progresses, with all the suspense and exciting elements kept intact throughout.
The language is simple, and transparent.
The cover is beautiful, and picturing the cover and the story made the book overall even more beautiful.
The book has a fast pace, and the narration is so good.
Overall a wonderful breathtaking read.

Although I am not a great fan of Fantasy books I found the strength in the Rubina Ramesh's writing. After reading this I can proudly say this was so good and worth reading.
It took me little more time than the normal because it was my first try for this genre and after finishing this I was satisfied and thank God I invested my time for a good book, I read this on my friend's suggestion.

The story revolves around Asherah: The Warrior Princess. She was born to end the evil Godling Sandor but this was that easy for her, she had to face many difficulties in between and have to cross all the barriers.

It's eye-catching and the beautiful cover has potential to attracts the readers whereas the title named on the protagonist's name. They have much more to say and can't explain here in my words don't think just grab it and thank me later.
The characters are well described and will definitely leave an impact on readers. The plot is wonderful which will keep you hooked with the twist and turns. The language used is professional and the writing style is no doubt fabulous.
Highly recommended to the fantasy lovers.

Articulate & Elegant Storytelling Style

Author: Rubina Ramesh @rubina.ramesh
Format: Kindle edition
Genre: Romantic Fantasy Novel

First of all, the cover is amazing and conspicuous. And this is my second fantasy novel review.

Summary:
Set in the timeline of 3000 BCE, Asherah is an ancient goddess and Princess of Khirbet, who is a trained zealous warrior too. She had been married at the age of only 9 years to the first man in the world, Lord El.

Asherah's one true purpose is to defeat the powerful and gruesome tyrant, Sandor.

Every night Asherah was haunted by a nightmare where she and Lord El were trying to defeat Santor, but he can be defeat only by his mother.

To defeat such an opponent who is armed with power and brutality is strenuous. So, she decided to seek assistance from her husband, Lord El to defeat Santor.

But situations get troublesome for Asherah when during her training she go head over heels for a stable boy, Hanish. Along with battling against Sandor, an inner battle ranges within her regarding her emotions. Will she be able to win a victory over Sandor? Or her forbidden love affair will affect her triumph?
.
The author has made a sufficient effort in developing the character of Asherah. All the other characters are well-defined too.

I loved the elegant way of setting up the historical period and the atmosphere of intense action, suspense and mysteries. The storytelling style is lucid and appealing.
I would readily recommend it to all the fantasy lovers.

Bound by duty... Longing for love. Ashera; the warrior princess married the Ancient God Lord El at an early age of Nine. This uneventful act was a good thing for her at that time because she could heartily take her now husband's help to destroy Sandor; the one who was widely feared.
.
But, Ashera was young, and as she grew, she began realizing that she had no love for her husband, and she got attracted to Lord's hand, Hanish. Hence, begins the central plot of this beautiful story. Ashera is stuck between her mission, her loyalty, and well, her hormones.
.
This gem of a book is rare in the sea of usual stories. Rubina Ramesh, the author of the book has put great emphasis on the characters and has given them the kind of depth that every reader demands. Being a part of a trilogy makes this an even more intresting find, because it gives me a chance to explore Ashera more when the next book comes out. The cover of the book is apt and does justice to the plot of the book. With elements of sci-fi mixed with fantasy and nerve wrenching thrills, the reader will stay hooked to the book till the last. And when you add the romantic touch that the author has bestowed with the tension build up around the main characters and their sense of what's right and what's wrong, this book is an absolute winner.
.
I would totally recommend it to all fantasy and romance lovers. Even casual readers can pick this book up, and gradually get cozy with the world created by Rubina Ramesh. Final Rating 4.4

Asherah- The Warrior Princess is a soothing fantasy book. The book begins with a war. The story and plot of this book is very unique. The story is all about Asherah, who is well known for her bravery and is warrior princess. She is at a war with a demon namely, Sandor. She grows up to defeat Sandor and to defend herself. The story has enough twists and turns to keep the reader hooked. Asherah falls in love with Hanish, both of them are obliged for their respective duties. Asherah loves Hanish, but she is married to Ancient God El secretly. To know more about Asherah, you should just go for this book without any hesitation.
The story is written in a wonderful manner and is thrilling. This book is an impeccable combination of mystery, romance and war. The author has intensely described the emotions of Asherah, which touched my heart. The book is divided into 27 chapters and the language used is lucid and easy to understand. All the characters have their own importance and all of them are spectacularly sketched. Overall, it is a nice book and is recommended to all fantasy lovers.

Gripping Narration and beautifully imagined characters (^.^)

The story starts with Asherah, a nine year old princess experiencing nightmares consecutively for days. Now, Asherah has grown up to be a fierce Warrior Princess.
A ruthless enemy has now started to threaten her and her Kingdom and Asherah isn't ready to keep quiet.

🌿But she suddenly discovers that her fate has other plans. What will the Warrior Princess do ?

🌿I loved the narration of the book. Author has developed the suspense in the book pretty well. It kept my interest till the end. Asherah as a character is very interesting and empowered. Despite the conditions she is thrown into, she is still her fiesty- self. Language is simple and easy to understand for anyone.

🌿 The characters of the book are interesting and so beautifully imagined. I loved the introduction to the new character in the Epilogue part, especially (^.^)

🌿I recommend this book to the fantasy lovers and my buddies who are beginners in the reading world 💖

The best fantasy romance book I've read so far! Just within the first few pages of the book, I was obsessed with the book. The author Rubina Ramesh has done an excellent job in this book! The story is about a girl named Ashera who is the princess of the khirbet empire. She was suffering from some nightmare problems when she was 9 years old which were somehow related to her life. As she grew up she completely forgot about her dreams. But, all of the sudden an enemy named Sandor came into her life by threatening her family and empire to get Ashera on his side for some of his cruel missons. She didn't knew what he wanted from her but she knew that her life's mission was to kill this cruel godling, Sandor because he made her peaceful empire a place where lived under the fear of Sandor. She was forced to get the help of this ancient god and her husband. As we move further in the story Ashera come to know about her life's destiny and also gets some memories of the time which was related to her nightmares.

The best thing about the book is that it is written in a third perspective manner with some great explanation. We literally can feel the scene going on in the book. The tempo of the story doesn't fall at any point and once you start reading it, you can't stop. One of the best line from the book for me is, "Humans think they know everything. If something good happens, they take the credit, and if it goes wrong, then they blame God for it." This line is so deep and relatable. There is love, hate, betrayal, confusion and much more for Ashera. The book is the 1st book in the trilogy of the goddesses. I'm very much excited for the upcoming parts of this book.

Book name: Asherah The Warrior Princess

Author: Rubina Ramesh

Format: Kindle

Rating: 4/5

*****************************
The story of princess Asherah, who has no memory of her past nightmares, grew up to be a great warrior. She gets bound by the duty to destroy the un-destroyable. Will she be able to do that?
When she was not even nine, her memory was erased so that she would be free of her nightmares. As she grew up to be a warrior, she finds herself in the battle with Sandoor who can’t be killed by anyone other than his mother. This book is about a war, not a physical war, but war of emotions, Author use the concept of Yin-yang, concept of god and wises, women rights, re-incarnation, mother son love, parents love for their children, biased love of mother towards children, concept of win of good over bad, gender equality behaviour of the one who get power but don't understand the responsibility to handle it.

- The book has a fast pace, and the narration is so good.

- The language is simple, and transparent.

- The unique concept of this book is the fact that nothing is revealed all together.

- The novel shows many faces of women, as daughter, mother, seductress, wife, warrior, princess, lover and most importantly as goddess.

- I loved every bit of it. Starting from Asherah falling in love with the stable boy Hanish and then the parrot who speaks.

Overall a wonderful breath-taking read. The cover is beautiful, and picturing the cover and the story made the book overall even more beautiful.
