A super cute book for kids with small plushies that make it even better. I read this when I was a baby and I still have it. It’s a book a little kid would re-read over and over again.

Where oh where is Huggle Buggle Bear tells the story of how Huggle Buggle Bear always goes missing before bedtime and a little boys hunt to find him. He looks all over the house before giving in and finding him already tucked up in bed. As we move through the book we see Huggle Buggle Bear hiding somewhere in the illustrations, this invites the reader(s) to get involved and point out where he is.
The repetition of each place already searched will help young readers get used to new words. This book would be suitable for early years as it helps develop reading and speaking skills. It would be suitable to be read aloud to a class or one on one with a child.
I enjoy reading this book, which is lucky as my 3 year old stepson loves it. I enjoy the fast past rhythm which comes from the use of rhyming. He loves looking for Huggle Buggle Bear and knows the book by heart and always joins in with the 'Where oh where is Huggle Buggle Bear?' parts. All in all, a fun book for early development.

"Where oh where, is Huggle Buggle Bear? I can' find him anywhere!"

This was absolutely one of my daughter's favourite when she was about 1 year old. She called it 'Uggle Buggle' when she wanted us to read it for her. It's about a little boy who can't find his teddy bear before bedtime. He keeps looking for it while the bear keeps playing hide-and-seek. It's a fun read with a lot of rhymes and repetitions, two things that little kids love in a book. I enjoy reading it aloud, and my daughter loves to spot the hiding bear 😄

I enjoyed reading this to my best friend's little ones. They both love it. Huggle buggle bear is always hiding before bedtme and the little boy always looks for him. It is great for little ones as the text repeats and rhymes and they also learn places in the house. My best friend's daughters loved pointing out where huggle buggle bear was hiding and found it very funny.

Een zoet en schattig prentenboek over een jongetje die naar bed wilt, maar zijn teddybeer die nog hele andere plannen heeft. Ik moest regelmatig heerlijk lachen om de verbeelding van het kindje (tenzij het toch echt allemaal waar is, maar dan zou ik zeker niet met een levende knuffel in bed liggen, haha) maar ook zeker om de beer van alles uit te zien halen met allerlei vriendjes. Van lekker honing eten tot dansen en feesten. Ik vond het wel af en toe zielig voor het jochie want hij wilde zo graag naar bed maar ja zonder beer kan dat niet (en dat kan ik me nog wel herinneren toen ik zo klein was). De illustraties waren erg leuk. Ik vond het ook niet erg dat de tekst zich herhaalde, ik vond het eigenlijk wel leuk gedaan.
Ik ben blij dat ik weer eens een prentenboek kan lezen, met de bibliotheken al 3+ maanden dicht mis ik prentenboeken erg, gelukkig kan ik ze af en toe vinden in minibiebs in mijn dorpje.

10/10 best book ever. Hey, you got friends? No? Oh... Well, show this to a stranger or something and they'll feel enlightened. I found this book when I was in the waiting room in the orthodontist and as soon as I read the title, I was hooked. Now all I dream, eat, breath, smell, feel, and about is Huggle Buggle bear. Has your child ever gone looking for a favorite stuffed animal that they just had to have before going to sleep? If so, then your child will definitely relate to this sweet story. This book features a little boy looking for Huggle Buggle Bear as he prepares for bed. Huggle Buggle and his friends, unbeknownst to him, are always one step ahead of the little boy until he finally finds them tucked in bed waiting for him.

The text of the story has a fun rhythm to it while the illustrations perfectly convey the action of the stuffed animals as they play their little game of hide-and-seek with the boy. I also like that the story calls out how the little boy is feeling in each scene, helping children to learn to articulate different emotions they might be feeling. The book is relatively short and simple while the pictures are large and colorful - making this an ideal story for the toddler/preschool age group. This book also falls into the category of books-I-don't-mind-reading-100-times. I highly recommend Huggle Buggle Bear to my fellow parents!

Where, Oh Where is Huggle Buggle Bear is a nice story. It would be recommended for younger readers as the pictures and repetitive language would keep them interested. The story is about a teddy bear that always goes missing when its bedtime and the little boy has to look for him. He looks for his bear in places like the kitchen with Babbity Bunny and on the couch with Ellie Nellie. Cute little names that younger kids would love repeating. Nice illustrations too. Great book to have in class for younger primary grades.

This is one of my daughter’s favorite books. It is a great book for children to read with their parents because it has repetitive parts in the book that help with oral language and fluency. It also shows children different emotions over different situations of not being able to find something very special to you. When the repetitive parts come up in the book there is one word that gets changed which helps with children’s new vocabulary, as in: naughty, troublesome and silly.

This is a very cute book. It was one of my friend's kid's faves so she made sure I had a copy for my little mister. I like it because it's got a good rhythm to it so it makes it fun to read. Some books are just awkward to read and it takes the fun out of it. I'll probably read it again tonight knowing him. He is beginning to get as many books as I do so I'm trying to force him to read what he hasn't read. Wish me luck.

This is becoming our favorite bedtime book. Huggle Buggle bear does not like to go to bed. Search through the book as his owner looks for the naughty bear. Meet the other friends who come along for the adventure with all of them being found at the end asleep in bed.

The giggles it brings out are great and a perfect wind down book for bedtime.

This book is excellent for fostering emotional language development in early childhood due to the many associated verbs in contextual situations; and also the adjectives to describe Huggle
Buggle's behavior. I recommend it for ages 2 to 5.

Had a sleepover with my nephew. He always gets to pick out a book before bedtime and this is the one he picked for us to read. It was a really cute story and super easy to get him involved by looking at the pictures to find the bear. Pretty, vibrant illustrations.
