His parents are barely surviving their grief and his old lady sprung she’s pregnant on him on the morning of his sister’s funeral. The club is all he’s known and it’s his brothers he leans on when his personal life becomes too much.
Nina fell hard for Zachery and he’s been her world since they got together. He is her ride or die and she his. When his sister was ripped from them she vowed to be there at his side always, but he’s been pushing her away and picking fights with her for months. She knows he’s hurting but there’s only so much she can take before he breaks her heart. Will they ever find their way back to each other again?
Where there’s the patch, there are secrets and as Zach battles to find who he is now without his sister, him and the brothers are faced with the ultimate betrayal.

Two couples are starting to detonate and it's getting angsty in there. Zach and Nina are having a baby and he's still reeling from India's death(I am never ever reading that book). He can't let it go and he feels numb. So what does he do? Pushes her away. Very badly. I hurt for Nina in this book. She needed him so bad and he was awol. Emotionally and physically. I loved what she did to his clothes though. She was so strong. Loved everything about her, except when she wouldn't accept his fiftieth apology. He groveled, he begged, he totally realized how wrong he'd been but she wouldn't forgive. I understood at first but come on already. You could tell he loved her.
Slade and Kris were in a very bad, bad place. I really did not like her at all. I had the hardest time understanding her. Brief affects everyone differently but it completely changed her personality. She was so hateful to him yet he still loved her. I loved at the end when he wrote her that letter and she actually began to crack. It felt good. I hope they can recover from their grief for their daughter and stay together.
As for the rat??? I need to know. Just FYI, no cheating! Hallelujah and pass the hat!
Another great story told that didn’t need smut to sell it. I didn’t even miss the sexy times because there was enough going on to fill that void... and it gets you in the heart big time.
This book drips with grief off every page. I could feel it deeply for Leo, Slade, and Zach for the loss of India- wife, daughter, sister. But then, I could feel Nina’s grief for a whole different reason based off of her man, Zachs’ grief over his sister. Ugh. Finally- Kristen, Slade’s woman, Zach’s mom, Leo’s MIL, and India’s mom... I could feel her hate!!! She oozed it out of her pores! I will admit - I’m not a Kristen fan after her hateful words to Leo and how she is to her husband. But then again, I could see how this family grieved and didn’t know how to help each other let alone themselves. So they push loved ones away and said some terrible things. The thing is- I can see a lot of this being said in real life and I can’t fault Kristen for why she’s mad and directs her anger at the club, her man Slade, and Leo. But I hate how Leo was treated by her- it was his woman, the mother of his daughter... he deserved more respect and love then he got.
Thank heavens for Sebastian! He was born to start some healing in this torn up family. There’s still so much healing that needs to be done... but I liked the direction it’s going in.
My heart is weeping right now!! This book was so good. I've loved every Lost Souls MC book. They just get better with each one. Loved this was centered on Slade and Kristen and dealing with the death of their daughter. How we get Zachary and Nina too. Such heartbreak with some not with the little Sebastian thrown in. Cannot wait for the next book because this was a bit of intrigue and unanswered questions. Does the club have a traitor?? And if yes who the hell is it?? And most importantly.....how long do we have to wait for the next book? If I could give this book 10 STARS I would have. I highly recommend this book and series. Thanks Jamie Nibarger Ellis
From the minute I picked this book up I couldn't put it down. My heart broke from the very beginning only to restore by with happiness and not a bit of fear as to what this "rat" has in store for the Lost Souls MC. I have loved this series from the very beginning. My heart broke for Zach, Nina, Slade and Kris as they struggled with a huge loss, but the addition of Sebastian was a changing point for Zach that's to a little push from his dad. I loved seeing Zach open up to Nina about his fears and why he pushed her away. Slade and Kris I have no doubt will be ok in end. I can't wait to see what happens for them and the rest of the Lost Souls next.
Parenting 🎭🖲️is the toughest job can ever love ❤️💕🍼🎡🎠🎪
Zachary is on self destruct, he leaves his pregnant woman, and will not listen to his brother or his parents. But his parents have a hard time seeing love with the death of his sister. Even his sister husband and his daughter to young & innocent. Heartbroken Zachary leaves Nina and his unborn baby behind. Then Nina so hurt is not give him a chance to hurt her son along her ❤️ heart. A fantastic story.
Wow, you could feel the grief, frustration and emotions coming off these pages. Zach and Nina have gone through a lot but I think this time was probably the worst. Every one is still in turmoil over India’s death and to put the cherry on top of this chaotic sundae they have a rat amongst them. All I have to say is wow, just wow. This series just keeps getting better.
I really want to give 4 stars because this series is really good. I am hooked. However, the editing is horrible. Missing words, repeated words, and improper use of words/ phrases makes me cringe all throughout the book.
Interesting read. New author for me. I liked the story. Will try another book. FYI no steamy times which I thought was great as it was still a decent read.
