He was a revelation to her. A need beyond any she'd ever had before.

He wanted it to be more, but she didn't. And that pissed him off.
But I'm scared. I'm scared it's too soon and I don't know what I'm doing. I'm scared you aren't what you seem to be, and that tomorrow you'll walk away- I'm scared of so many things.
She'd let him back into her life, and she had to ride out the storm to see where it went. She just hoped there was some little piece of her left when the storm was over.

"...So is it over for good? Or is there still a chance?"The character I loved the most had to be Remy. He had some grief moments and guilt where a sibling was concerned, but his need to claim Christina, to help her, to heal her, to simply love her, was all-consuming. He had his cocky lines -- and I truly loved them! He never came off as cocky; his lines were more of a characteristic of his. He used them when happy, when sad, when in good situations, and in not so good situations. They were simply "him".
Remy shrugged. "Don't know. Might be a chance. Not entirely sure I want to take it though."
"Always take the chance," Viking said, his expression serious. "If you don't, you'll never know what you missed. Life doesn't often hand us a second chance. I say grab on with both hands and don't let go when it does."
