Lynne Gentry has a gift for humor. Delightful story of courage to begin again. I can’t wait to read Baby Shoes. If you “grew up in church” or if you love the Mitford Series, you will love this series beginning with Walking Shoes! 👠

I read this book several years ago, and I just listened to it. The author narrated it and brought the characters to life. I fell in love with Mount Hope all over again. This a beautiful story that is heart warning, poignant, and humorous. A story all will love.

This was a fantastic continuation of a great Contemporary Christian fiction series! This book is full of funny moments as well as character development skyrocketing! From unrequited love and a love triangle, to high risks from both people and situations with crazy drivers! I would recommend this book to teens and above! I was able to read a copy of this book via Overdrive, but it did not in any way affect my review. All opinions are my own.

Well, Leona is moving along with her life, doing things she has wanted to do but couldn't. & now there are 2 men seeking her attention. I love how she finally comes to the point where she can't keep her secret any longer. I read this book from my local library. Glad there is only 1 more book to finish up the adventure!

Just as good as the first two!
The story of MT Hope and Leona takes an interesting turn and smiles and laughter abound while reading the third book in the series Dancing Shoes. Love and hope shine through and you find yourself rooting for Leona just as much as you would for a friend. Can't wait to start on book number 4!

More stories of the Mt. Hope church and parsonage!
There's more twists and turns with this book than I antissipated and many are a nice surprise! There's love where I didn't think there was and possibly divorce, where I didn't expect!
Loved this book, so I'm going to read the next one, "Baby Shoes"

I really enjoyed this series. They are well written and keep your interest while not being gushy romantic - you feel like someone sharing their own story with you. And the ending wrapped it all up in a nice tidy bow. Didn't leave questions.

Thought this book was the last one in this series, not Baby Shoes will be coming soon & looking forward to it. A really good series. I'm looking forward to reading more of Ms. Gentry's work.

Terrific
I thoroughly enjoy Lynne Gentry's writing. Her characters are true to life -- some of them sweet and self-sacrificing, others petty and vindictive. But, what wonderful weaving the author does to bring us in, to make us cry, to make us laugh out loud!

It’s a lovely next version of the story. I consider these used to be beach reads, even though I’m not at the beach while I’m reviewing them. They are quick and easy to read, and if you enjoy this sort of genre, probably something that you would find you’d appreciate.

Excellent book!
The story continues about Leona, David and Maddie Harper. Continuing to live on after your husband passes away, is not easy. Leona had so much to adjust to. Reading about all the changes they have to adjust to is very enlightening. So much to learn from this story.
