❝So the truth is, maybe you don’t know what love is but you do know that it is not this.❞
The last book from the first collection of 𝑆𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐵𝑟𝑜𝑘𝑒𝑛 𝑆𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐵𝑒𝑎𝑢𝑡𝑖𝑓𝑢𝑙. I was very close to giving this book four stars but something didn’t convince me at all.
This time, R.M. Drake bring us the follow-up and the truth that he has given us in his three previous books. Talking about love and self love, something we can almost all relate to.
To me personally, the book was good, as poetry always has been to me, perfect for the moment. I felt connected to some of the poems and I really like that.
❝You don’t deserve to be silent. To be ignored. To be forgotten. You are someone. You are important.❞
There we go! This one made this completely worth it Elevation is exactly right, this one was nothing like the other 3 book in this series. This was uplifting and amazing and such a great read! He says in this book that it is okay to want someone back and not feel bad about it which is 100% true. A lot of people, including myself, think the opposite of that and people Like Drake write to tell us these things. They write to remind us what we can do and what we should be doing in order to better ourselves. This was amazing. I found myself daydreaming a bit while reading his words but in a way that make the poetry better. Thank you for this series. The road to get here was a little rocky but the end makes the whole thing worth it.
