Secrets can be exciting, they can also be deadly...

London has a secret. By day, she’s an ambitious woman, well on her way to getting her college degree. By night, she’s an alluring escort with Philadelphia’s elite as her main clientele. She balances the thin line between her two worlds with ease. But that all changes when she meets Chase. Suddenly, London is in a fierce battle trying to make sense of her choices and newfound love interest.

Olivia once thought she found her Prince Charming, but she soon realizes Marcus is her worst nightmare. Like London, she’s been keeping a troubling secret of her own. Deep down, she knows that it’s only a matter of time before Marcus snaps and actually kills her. But, in a wild turn of events, Olivia ends up killing her abuser in an act of self-defense. Panicked, Olivia is forced to leave everything she knows and run to the safety only her twin sister, London, can provide.

In this thrilling standalone story, Monique Elise brings her readers to the edge of their seats as she explores a world filled with seduction, murder, and deceit. Can the unbreakable bond between sisters withstand the untold truths that exist between them? Or will their secrets be what ultimately tears them apart?

Very good

This was a good read that kept me engaged and on the edge of my seat. It was a suspense story that features twin sisters, Olivia and London. When one twin ends up murdered in her apartment, the other finds herself trying to solve her murder. Both twins had secrets that had me wondering how well did they know each other. London seemed very care free and I think it was because of her childhood. She experienced something that was so traumatic, it’s amazing that she even made it to see 30. Olivia was more reserved but she’s got a secret that I did not see coming. She felt that she had to protect London but this time she was too late. There was a ton of plot twists int this book but I think I kind of figured that the killer would be someone that I least expected- like it wasn’t blatantly obvious but it made sense when the killer was revealed. Throughout all the craziness Olivia is able to find love in the end and come to terms with her past. Very fast paced book that was Uber good! I truly enjoyed this book!! Looking forward to reading more books from this author. ❤️

Good but predictable

This was an okay short read. Kinda predictable but held my interest. I definitely didn't feel it was like Coldest Winter nor Gone Girl even in the slightest. I felt the characters needed a little more character development. The ending seemed rushed. Nonetheless it's an enjoyable short read. Only about 150 pages.

WOW

My very first time reading this author's work and I loved it. Very well written, great character development and storyline. This book had my attention from beginning to end. It keeps you intrigued with the mystery of the story wondering who the real criminal is. Everyone seems to have their own skeletons and secrets. So many twists and turns will have your head spinning to where you just have to continue reading. If your looking for a book with suspense this is the book to read. Highly recommend reading.
