The Curse of Dry Vagina

Rate this book
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "The funniest book I've read all year."

For men, their advancing years can mean many things–eyebrows that grow together, an ever-expanding waistline, thinning hair, or worst of all, a low hanging scrotum.

For women, their advancing years can mean only one thing–the curse of dry vagina.
Affluent beauty salon owner, Michelle Cooper-Brown is suffering such symptoms and declaring enough is enough, she makes an appointment to visit her GP desperate for help.

In the waiting room, she meets down-trodden, loudmouthed, cleaning lady, Donna-Marie Clark, who understands the symptoms of menopause only too well.

A clash of worlds follows their initial meeting with the refined and lady-like Michelle horrified by Donna-Marie’s foul mouth and over-bearing personality.

Eventually, Michelle discovers in Donna-Marie a kindred spirit–that rare person who can smile through adversity and find joy even in the darkest of times.

A friendship blossoms between both ladies; one that opens new possibilities to the humdrum life both have settled for.

>- Through the itches and scratches of life, join Michelle and Donna-Marie as they navigate the trials and tribulations of the menopause.

My name is Zane Michaelson and I am a best-selling, multi-genre author with over fifty titles released.

I was born and raised in the North West of England but moved away to study Law at University, before returning and meeting the woman of my dreams.

Now I live in Spain with my beautiful wife, four wonderful children, who are the lights of my life, and a host of animals.

It has been four years since my debut release, and I still have so much to say.

With more books planned, including further co-writes with my wife Jenna Michaelson and fellow author, Kaylee Rose, I'm excited for what the future brings.

Prepare to fall in love with these characters, laugh your arse off and cry buckets.
This is a total departure for Zane & Jenna, but a welcome one.
Dealing with the real world and what happens to women of a certain age, this offers a true-life glimpse when opposites attract.
What begins with Michelle looking down her nose at Donna-Marie ends with a firm friendship and one most would kill for.
Hijinks mixed with heartbreak, this book speaks volumes about friendship!
Not to be missed!

Oh Ladies you are in for a treat with this Story.....
It's a mostly feel good story between two veryyyyy different Women that bond after a chance meeting at the local GP's and become the Bestest of Friends. You will laugh out loud at the colourful use of language, whilst wishing you had a Best Friend just like this. Its an emotional story in parts and it made me cry, but overall I read this story with the biggest smile on my face, as I related to many parts of it.
Love Love Loved this story.....

I have been waiting forever to read this book and lucky me, I read it early. Two of my favorite people, Zane and Jenna Michaelson, wrote this book after one particularly fun night in their Facebook group. The comments back and forth were epic. While reading this story, I get the same energy we had going in those comments.

I was expecting the funny parts. I mean come on, there's a camel on the cover and the title is 'The Curse of Dry Vagina'

What I wasn't expecting was how deep the emotions ran through me while reading about two women, who shouldn't fit, but do. Unconditional friendship, camaraderie and bond between women is rare.
Many time women like to tear each other down and compare ourselves to others, always want to be one step ahead. Not for Michelle or Donna-Marie. They find more true friends along their journey.

The humorous moments made me laugh out loud, but the friendship between Donna-Marie (me) and Michelle (my friend) is what brings this story to the next level. And if I’m honest, the friend parts made me cry.

Read this book for the humor that will make your side ache. Treasure this book for the unusual friendship between two women who never should have met, but now that they have, look out world!

What a surprise this book was! I expected a funny short story and while it was hilarious throughout the book that is not all it was. I never could have imagined the friendships that bloom while discussing “lady gardens”. The characters were wonderful and made it so easy to fall into the story. I would highly recommend this book to everyone, it will have you laughing tears and is a great read to put a smile on your face.

Absolutely brilliant!!!!

What a fabulous story! Yes, it was what I was expecting; hilarity and a fabulous bond of friendship between two women, but it was also so much more than that.
The warmth, love and adoration from these characters oozes out from the pages, with their dynamics making me want to be involved in their lives. I loved the way the realities of marriage were portrayed in Michelle and Darren's relationship. An absolutely fabulous story with too many laughs out loud moments to mention, but don't take my word for it, read it yourself!

I never laughed so hard reading a book until I read The Curse of the Dry Vagina by Zane and Jenna Michaelson. Michelle and Donna-Marie, who are total opposites, form a very special bond. Their friendship and antics made me laugh. There was a very emotional component to the story, which I felt Zane and Jenna Michaelson wrote very well. The secondary characters were a wonderful addition to the story. The story was well-paced and flowed smoothly. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I highly recommend the book. Kudos to Zane and Jenna Michaelson!

What a wonderful fantastic hilarious book. There were times I was laughing so hard I had to stop reading and there were times I cried, but you will love all the characters, especially Donna-Marie, Michelle, Dr. Lindblom, Gloria and Susie. And then there was Fat Lash and you cannot forget husband Darren. I don’t want to tell too much about this hilarious book, because I want you to enjoy all the emotions and antics that go on. Enjoy and laugh your head off.

When this title landed in my lap I never expected it to wow me with a yearning for more. When this title landed in my lap, I never expected it to wow me with a yearning for more. Zane and Jenna Michaelson hit all the big topics of modern-day and use menopause as the binding factor. They find a way to make two unlikely souls to develop a friendship with a depth in the knowledge that one cannot judge a book by its cover. The world is ever-changing and opening the door to invite new people inside can be difficult as people age. Through the brazen and often not so PC Donna-Marie readers are invited into a world of wonderful characters. Some of them might be considered misfits in different social circles. However, Donna-Marie serves as the shaman and Michelle finds herself opening her heart and soul to a whole new world. One she recently found herself only focusing on the side effects of growing older. The journey Michelle embarks on truly captures the essence of what it means to embrace life after fifty. The Michaelson’s produced one of the most enjoyable reads of the year. A beautiful work with healthy themes and more laughs than one could hope for between the covers.

***My mother, who is 77, enjoyed this one as well!

This book didn't interest me at first but I kept reading. Then there was little turns in the book that started to draw me in, then there was a major twist that grabbed my attention and hooked me.
The story is realistic, well written and loaded with humor- it takes you on an adventure of what happens to women at a certain age and other obstacles in life. Donna and Michelle find each other and are totally opposites but become best friends. Through their journey of friendship they find other friends. The story teaches lessons on how to deal with things life throws at you, don't judge others and that everyone deserves a second chance.

Hilarious and touching!

Its hilarious and touching! Zane and Jenna took a touchy subject, menopause and wrote a beautiful story without making the woman a raving lunatic. It was humorous and sweet story of friendship and love through the changes in life. So well written and look forward to reading more! I really enjoyed this book.

This book will have you laughing one moment and crying the next. Zane & Jenna Michaelson know how to tickle your funny bone and pull at your heartstrings.

Donna and Michelle at first glance look like polar opposites, but learn they have more in common than they could have ever imagined. Never judge a book by its cover. It’s a story about finding a friend in the most unlikely place.

Out Loud Funny!

This has got to be one of the most out loud funniest books I've read all year. Jenna and Zane Michaelson are a dynamic writing duo. Their quick wit kept me laughing at Donna-Marie and Michelle's conversations. You meet these two women going through the change and see how they start to bond. I love the two characters and how they find themselves finding a new side of themselves brought out by their new friendships. This is an amazing, and funny book that you should grab and enjoy today!

This is a must read book you will not be sorry you read. Michelle and Donna-Marie will have you rolling on the floor laughing so hard. The situations those two get into and the banter between them is priceless. Two women from different lifestyles who become friends and take you on a journey that you will not forget. Zane and Jenna have gone to a whole different level in writing with this book. If I could give it higher than 5 stars I would.

Michelle and Donna-Marie were a totally well matched, but simultaneously not, hoot. So were Michelle and her hubby Darren, with all of their ridiculous squabbling, but it was nice to read a couple that were actually still in love after 25 years and still hot for each other (dry vagina aside
