After spending a millennium in Purgatory, Meliodas finally reunites with the rest of The Seven Deadly Sins. Now armed with the strength of his comrades, Meliodas gains the power he needs to not only defeat the Demon Lord once and for all, but to also bring an end to the curse that has plagued him and Elizabeth century after century. For fuck' sake, can my babies have some fucking happiness and have it NOT be spoiled by someone?! Is that even possible at this point?! And everyone was getting ready to move on and enjoy life and COME FUCKING ON, WHY CAN'T MY BABIES BE HAPPY?!

*breathes in, breathes out* Okay, okay, I've calmed down. In all seriousness, this was a phenomenal volume that really tugged at my heartstrings. I love the sins so much and I have even come to respect Elizabeth. She's really grown as a character and while she isn't best girl material, she is a good character. The action was awesome, the characters were great, the scene with everyone together at the Boar's Head was so damn sweet, it was just a great volume! I'm curious to see where the series is going from here, as I'm anticipating this to be the final arc and even more curious to see how this arc will end. Love this series so much, can't wait for the next volume!

There is a reason why SDS is in my top 3 favorite manga/anime list and this entire arc and final two battles have helped highlight why.

But the ending of this arc?

Sono sollevata dal fatto che Meliodas abbia sconfitto suo padre riemergendo grazie alla forza che gli hanno dato Elizabeth e i Seven Deadly Sins. Finalmente dopo 3000 anni Meliodas ha mantenuto la promessa fatta e liberato Elizabeth e se stesso dalle maledizioni che gli erano state imposte ed è dolce che ora non dovranno più separarsi ma potranno amarsi in eterno. Sono rimasta sconvolta nello scoprire che Meliodas per salvare Elizabeth ha accettato di diventare il re dei demoni ma che sparirà per questo. Commossa dalla decisione di Elisabetta di andare nel regno dei demoni con Meliodas e per il fatto che il Seven Deadly Sins si sono sciolti. Scioccata dal fatto che il padre di Meliodas non sia morto, ma ha preso possesso del corpo di Zeldris perciò la maledizione si è riformata.

Si conclude finalmente la lunga battaglia contro il Re dei Demoni nonchè padre di Meliodas. Tutto sembra finire per il verso giusto (si, anche la maledizione di Elizabeth e Meliodas è spezzata)però Meliodas per ristabilire l'equilibrio nel mondo deve esiliarsi nel mondo demoniaco ed Elizabeth decide di seguirlo salutando famiglia e amici. Davanti al portale Elizabeth viene attaccata, ancora da una volta dal padre di Meliodas reincarnatosi nel corpo di Zeldris.
Ancora? Stesso piano, corpo diverso!
Sarà solo un espediente per tirare avanti la fine del manga oppure effettivamente era già stato programmato tutto fin nei minimi dettagli? Vedremo.

Este tomo es el mayor sin sentido que he hay en la serie hasta ahora, osea me gustó de q la maldición no se rompiera así no más, quiero decir sobre eso gira este manga no podía ser tan fácil, pero cada cosa que pasaba tenía menos sentido que la anterior, que le propusieran ser rey a Meliodas... Que ahora todos tienen una extraña fijación con tener hijos, me gusta que zeldris tenga su pequeña historia de amor pero es un poco floja por ahora, bueno y que derrepente resulta que zeldris quería un mundo de paz y amor... Que a elizabeth le cayera un meteorito de la nada... Aún así tuvo sus toques cómicos que me gustaron pero no se.

¡¡¡SPOILERS!!!
Este tomo me dejó un sabor agridulce, es decir me gustó el giro de que Elizabeth sigue con la maldición y pareciera que muere, también la decisión de irse junto a Meliodas al mismo no demoníaco. Lo que si me disgustó es el hecho de que el Rey demonio siga vivo y ahora use a Zeldris de recipiente, de todo lo que ha ido pasando los personajes no han evolucionado prácticamente nada, Ban tiene las mejores historias y Gowther si cambio, el resto poco o nada.

36巻に終わり気配を感じたんだけど、37巻を読んで安心した、まだ続ける！やった！で、次の気持ちはとんでもない凹み。だてさ、あと数か月でアメリカに帰るの！どうすればいいの？！どうやって最後の巻を読むの？！？終わりたくないけど、二月前に終わってください！ちゃんと完結知りたい！

前言ったんだけど、このシリーズの本当の悪キャラは魔人王。そうならこの巻の本当の悲劇役はゼルドリス。ま、メリオダスとエリザベスはさすが悲劇だけど、少なくとも輪廻してもちゃんと愛人をまた会える。ゼルドリスはソウじゃない。もう三千年会えなかったし、これから自分の体を失ってその体がその恋人を殺そう行動をしたらどうなるの？！可哀そう。

Honestly, I did not understand why they used a fake out break in here. It seem wrong just to devote a couple of chapters to setting up a happily ever after to just to psyche everyone out with the twist at the end of the volume. It seems unnecessary and would have just preferred them just going straight into the next arc without that twist.

It is a real good plot twist for the story when we all thought that Meliodas was going to become the new demon king with the 10 commandment, but little did we know that Meliodas was just becoming a new vessel for his father the active demon king and now he needs to fight his dad to get out of his body.

Anything with Ban and Meliodas together...hell yeah. We are at the climax of the battle and it is so rewarding to see the Seven Deadly Sins finally together again, even if it is just for a short while

I took a break from this series when Ban and Meliodas went into purgatory but binging on them today reminded me of everything I love about this manga

Ban is fighting the Demon King in the flesh while Meliodas is fighting the Demon King in his mind. The two get a power boost and a little help from their friends and also former enemies and the power of love and friendship gives them just enough oomph to turn the tide.

Happy warm fuzzies are felt by all and all (well, most) of the ships are sailing beautifully and there's even talk about kids!

And this is the point where you glance at the timestamp and realize there's way too many pages left for this to end well.
