Grevillea, Queen of the Arachnea, has rapidly decimated the Kingdom of Maluk and now the Dukedom of Schtraut. After receiving troubling reports that the shores of her newly obtained territory are being raided, she investigates the matter. She discovers that these raiders are pirates under the command of a female captain named Isabelle. The pirates belong to a colony on the island of Atlantica, and they are a formidable faction not to be trifled with.
Grevillea conspires with Isabelle and improves her navy. Strengthened by this partnership, she aims to plunge the Popedom of Frantz into the depths of despair...
Read last month and only detected left no review day I did for volume 4.
Lights the fires of adrenaline. Apart from volume 2 as can be. "Paucity of action" I labled soundly absent. The first half is a rush - story isn't falling on its sword happy to say. New places, new things. A writer with material on Amazon myself, quite the feat to maintain quality in a series, much less thrice.
Love a rouge. Good reader ratings but volume 2 felt dull action wise versus volume 1, who's comic pulled me into its isekai. That rogue no afterthought. No spoiling, but presented as center of the action and readers genuinely feel for her.
Coat all RED.
Or does Grevillea? Marching her armies to slaughter, who I spot as trendy in the series of seriously lowest of scum. Politcking is present - and I say has a place in volume 2. Here manages world building, without constricting what made volume 1 great - swarm. The andrenaline continued in latter stages.
Heart of the Swarm.
Will only say queen genocider develops and isn't the same regarding her kill machines. More backstory on her isekai is titilated. Accomplishment to have penned the choicest installment thus.
This continues to be one of the more interesting isekai game world series out there. The protagonist is female, the game it is based off is a real time strategy instead of an rpg, and it contains a lot of large battles vs just small ones.
I really enjoyed this volume. Thr author keeps you on your toes by doing things you don't see as much of in other books. Characters die, things don't go well for the protagonist, it just feels more real. There is also an underlying mystery to the whole thing which adds to the overall story.
So yeah, this is a wonderful series and I look forward to each new release. It is sad that the author doesn't write at the speed most other light novel authors do, but maybe that is a good thing.
Took longer for her to conquer the next nation and to this it seemed more real. To that she got her own nation invaded due to it so if there is a volume 4 it is probably about how she is going to crush them or start to crush them.
Volume 3 was good though volume 1 was the best out of all of them.
I had to stop reading'cause I started crying UGLY, no spoilers, don't worry, this Volume destroyed me emotionally ):! It was really good! Can't wait to read more! All hail her majesty!
En este tercer volumen, aparecen piratas y una chica que tiene mal destino. Acá se toca el tema de la Inquisición. La religión es el antagonico más usado.
I loved how at the end we get to see glimpses into what is actually going on, why and what's about to happen. But even more so, I loved the short side story at the end. Peeking into the minds of the swarms are a delight. They're more like an innocent child driven by a single goal in mind and nothing else. If we look at it this way, the swarms are an endless possibility. They could grow to be anything and I truly wish they would overcome the nature of their species. For one day, I hope to see the swarms be at peace, victorious and if there's even a tiny chance for them to be accepted by the other races then all the better. "All hail the queen!".
