This is so beautiful. It could be self-indulgent at times, but hey, cat-people are self-indulgent. I have related to most of what Purple Cat has written in such a deep level that I have this insane urge to write a letter to him. Maybe I will. That feeling when you close a book and you just wanna invite the author for a cup of coffee and just talk and talk? I wanna be friends with you, Purple Cat. I'm a black cat and I'm so happy to have found a book written by a fellow cat. Meow.

Honest confessions of someone who simply wants to participate in life's great mystery dance in the biggest possible way. Among its poetry, "Pilgrim's Song," C'est la Vie Mon Cherie," and "Mono no Aware" are my favorites.
