Surreal and hallucinatory short novel about a future czarist Viljandi, mostly populated by Russians and a few remaining Estonians (and a perhaps-reincarnated-Gogol). Weird fiction, bringing memories of Bulgakov, Pelevin.

Would recommend anyone who likes weird fiction and has an interest in (or at least is curious about) Estonian literature to check out this or Kongo Tango.
