Very helpful and well organized. Appreciate that it is very straightforward and to the point. You need lists of so many things for weddings. This has those lists all in one place
Callisto Media/Rockridge Press was kind enough to send me a copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review.

There are a lot of wedding planners out there, and this one is just middle of the road, I think. It is very straight-to-the-point and organized but it should remind brides-to-be that a wedding is only one day of your life and you could out a huge down payment on a house with the tens of thousands of dollars it costs to throw a wedding these days. But that is just me – my sister’s wedding had 11 guests and it was perfect and personal and warm and lovely. Nonetheless, if you need to throw a bash, this book would be a great help for that kind of bride.
This was a good, short book on all things wedding, but I found myself liking the bigger and more detailed wedding guides. This one is good if you have done all of your research and know what you need to have, or this book serves as a good starting point for conducting research. I wouldn't rely solely on this checklist book for wedding planning.
But it was nice to have all the information in one place!
If you’re engaged and don’t know where to start in the planning process, you need this book! It was gifted to me by a dear friend, and I am so thankful. I’ll definitely be gifting this book to other brides in my life.
I mean - it’s exactly what you think it is. But, not helpful outside of the context of a big-affair. The emergency bag list was helpful and the things to ask photographers, for our elopement. Other than that…. A lot of this could have been found online
Planning my own wedding and this book is exceptional at covering what you need to get and who to contact.
If you think you'll need extra support maybe get a bigger book but if you're able to put the time and effort of your own research, this is all you need!
