I first met the gorgeous Jennifer Edwards at a party some fifteen years ago. She was funny and silly and adorable.
We had a crazy, instant connection.
But then she kissed me.
And I did what I had to do—stopped it immediately because I was married.
In her tipsy state, she replied with something like, “Don’t promise me forever, just promise me tonight.”
And after a kiss like t

When this arrived on my kindle my plans for the night changed. I sent an apology to my pilates instructor because there was no way I was going to class after work. My husband cooked dinner while I got settled in my lazy boy chair and opened a bottle of bubbles. I then got lost in this book for 4 ½ hours of Danny Diamond bliss *sigh*

If you have read the That Boy series you are going to LOVE this story! From the moment Danny and Jennifer met they knew there was something special between them and

This duet just didn't win my heart like That Boy did! Those were lapped up like sweet cream and raspberries. There was just too much going on here that left me wishing Lori, her new wimp, and Troy hadn't claimed as much page-time. They weren't worth it -- and it took away far too much time that should have been allotted to the renewal of Danny and Jennifer's relationship. There was also an exorbitant amount of time spent on interior design and renovation details and flight plans. The friendship ...more
Finally Danny and Jennifer get their happily ever after. Finally Jennifer gets a clue. Finally Lori gets her comeuppance. And all the while Jayden and Philip are their wonderful selves.

Great ending. And good for Danny, finally getting his true love.

One of my favorite series! This book was magical!
I was happy to catch up with the three best friends in the first book of this duet but this one feels like playing catch-up with all of the characters from Dodd's other series, which I have not read (and their appearances here did not make me want to read them either), so I found most of this book super irrelevant and boring. ...more

I didn't read any of the other books in this series so I'm going to say that it was ok to read as standalone.

I loved Danny. I guess all the characters were great, even wicked Lori and addict Troy.

Great read.

When That Divorce ended, Jennifer left Danny to go back to L.A. Her ex Troy is in bad shape and needs to go to rehab. Jen has things she needs to take care-but Danny isn't a fan of any of these things.

Danny is still trying to get a divorce from his witch of a wife, Lori. How he ended up married to this psycho I'll never know, yet alone understand why he stayed married to her. He kept saying it was because of his kids, but let's face it, he's a multi-millionaire (consi

Perfect ending for one of my favorite guys ever. I loved all of the ups and downs and the joining of soulmates going on throughout this story. There's nothing like a family finally coming together to find their ultimate happiness. We also have some characters that challenge us with their innate talent to get under our skin and make our tempers boil. This book was such a page turner and a delight to read and I loved all of the characters I've missed from stories past popping up and making me smil ...more

Yes, Just Yes.
The perfect conclusion to That Divorce.
I am pretty sure I have a girl crush on Jayden. I want to be just like her.

The fact that Danny sheds himself of that witch, Lori.... makes me want to do some cartwheels. Everyone deserves to be loved with 100% and it's nice to see Danny finally experience that.
Still, the kids have me so interested in their story. :)

That Ring and That Divorce by Jillian Dodd. I LOVED them! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ .
Jennifer and Danny Met 14 years ago....right place, wrong time! Danny had just gotten married and had a baby girl. He couldn’t mess that up! So he said bye to his soul mate! But 14 years later hopefully it’s the right place, right time for both of them!!!

I gotta tell you from the moment Lori came into the picture I wasn’t a fan. How could Danny fall for a lady who doesn’t know/ like football! 🏈 then she threw a fit about

I loved the conclusion to Danny and Jennifer’s story!! I’ve loved everything about their story; minus Danny being married to Lori when they fort met 15 years ago!

I loved watching Jennifer grow closer to Danny and his kids. I loved watching all the interactions with them!

I loved that Danny was there for Jennifer when she needed someone to hold her hand. I love that she went to Danny knowing he’d be there to help her. That they knew they could rely on each other to help them through the bad time

2.5 stars!

I really enjoyed That Divorce and was so excited about this novel. However, I didn't like it. I feel like the author added a number of elements in it which were not needed. The elements dragged the story unnecessarily. Like the death of the dog, the drama with Lory and divorce agreement and ofcourse that Troy bullshit.

I just skimmed through the most of the novel. Every time I used to see it on my kindle, I felt like dnf-ing it but slowly and steadily I completed it.

I am not sure if I'l

What a GREAT ENDING to one of my favorite series! I absolutely love the lessons in family, love, friendship, and forgiveness. This book hits all different subjects but stays at its core of the series that JD started years ago.

Thank you for such a great series that makes you want to keep going back for more! 🖤
I don't ... I don't even remember what was happening. [Maybe ... I ... confused it with the Kris?]
But ... this read/started EXTREMELY NA - which ... not really believable for someone with TWO superbowl rings ...

anyway the fact that I can't even remember without looking it up, and can't without my phone near me ... [I read on the kindle app.]

Anyway the tone and it was a mess and I was really sad cuz the premise seemed interesting and we all know I LOVE me some sportsball.

Perfect ending to an amazing series. I just love Danny Diamond and wish I had one too! Jillian also intertwines characters from other series into this one so you catch a glimpse of some of your favorites during the read.
Danny has such an amazing personality and I love that he got his own story. More than 5 stars if it were possible.

I was given an ARC for an honest review.

The perfect conclusion to a perfect duet. The years of wait for Danny's story were well worth it and Jillian Dodd delivered in spades. I wish a certain person would have got her just desserts but we can't have it all.

Wow! This book gave me ALL the feels and is my favorite book that I've read all year!
(Most of my other favorite books are also by Jillian Dodd).

I admitted to fangirling about series crossovers in my review of Book 3 so I can honestly say that the highlight of this book for me was when Jennifer visits Asher Vineyards, home to Aiden and Keatyn Arrington, Riley and Ariela Johnson, and Knox and Katie Daniels (from The Keatyn Chronicles Box Set). I have read/listened to The Keatyn Chronicles multip

The book I’ve been waiting for!

That cliffhanger did me in, and I finally got to finish Danny’s sweet story!

The last book left off with Danny angry that Jennifer was going to go back to LA so soon after they got together (finally!!!) to put Troy in rehab and find a place to stay. She left with his championship ring, and he wants it back and her.

As the book takes off from the previous cliffhanger, Danny and Jen begin to trust one another better, but that doesn’t mean there are no challenges. No

Achingly beautiful... This books closes an awe inspiring series. JJ, Phillip, and Danny all now have their happily ever afters.
This book slayed my heart. It breathes life, love, heartache, friendship, and family into your soul. It shows the road to find your soulmate can have its challenges, but the want and desire to put them first above all else is what truly matters.
It is so lovely to see the emotional strength that not only Danny exhibits in his love for football and his children, but to se

PERFECT!! A Wonderful Ending for Danny and Jennifer! I loved them so hard and this was a very emotion road for them! Dodd really outdid herself! I have so much love in my heart for Danny and have wanted nothing more than for him to be happy in the end! Jennifer has also been through many challenges and I really think fate had her eye on this couple. They say nothing worth it in life is easy, that the Best things come to those who wait and both couldn't be truer for these characters! We picked up ...more

I want to start by saying that I read this series a bit out of order starting with chase and dani’s books and initially went back just to read the scenes revolving around them that I missed. However, reading this book after knowing everything that happened in the next one with there relationship made me sad. She built I really good foundation for the characters and I found myself really liking Dani during these two books. Then in her and chases story it feels like she becomes everything she disl ...more

About time

**Some minor SPOILERS ahead**

It was really about time that Danny got his HEA. I really enjoyed this story, I love Danny and Jennifer together and I wished we could see more of them. All of them, actually. That’s why I can’t give this book 5 stars because it felt unfinished, despite the happy ending. I wish the epilogue showed everybody more down the road, like in That Baby. I don’t like to finish a book with unanswered questions in my head like: what happened to Troy after all? What wa

The perfect ending! I cried, I screamed, I was relieved and so happy. Jennifer is such a heroine and such a great character who's down on her self but reemerges better than ever with a little love and a push in the right direction.

It was heart wrenching and frustrating at times but it all works out in the end in the best way.

Jennifer and Danny get the ending they so badly deserved and wished for. Such a sweet way to end their story.

I love getting to see the Keatyn Chronicles gang again and love

This story and these characters are so special to me. I have been reading this series since it was first released in 2011, and I'm pretty sure I've read every book Jillian has published since then. There is so much substance and so many lessons. A roller coaster of emotions. It's always been crazy to me how when you're reading the stories that Jillian writes, you feel like the characters are real, like you know them and you're old friends. She brings to life a whole other reality. I can't say en ...more

After devouring the original That Boy series in lightening quick fashion, the later books were harder for me to get into. Perhaps I don't like my "kids" growing up? I must say that the conclusion novel in That Ring brought me back to the crew that I missed so much. It was very nice to see the relationships of the original three hold firm after so much time had passed and to see them welcome Danny's new love interest with open arms. Tender moments with Danny's kids also made me feel reconnected w ...more

Overall, I loved reading That Ring. I'm thrilled that Danny and Jennifer were able to come back to each other again and, like all of Jillian's books, there was a HEA. I did give this book 4 stars though because I wish that there hadn't been so much focus on the drama with Troy and Lori, respectively. I would have rather had more detail revolving Danny and Jennifer's story, but understand that it was also how they grew closer. The ending of this book was a bit disappointing to me because I was ex ...more

Mmm wasn't very impressed with this book. As I said in review of That Divorce, I am not interested in Jennifer as a character or her and Danny as a couple. There's nothing explicitly wrong with either, but I feel absolutely nothing for them. I probably felt more in the dog scenes than the romance. Lori is too evil to believe and the cheesiness is at maximum levels. This book also felt like an excuse to revisit characters from a series I never read (I tried the first Keatyn book but couldn't get ...more
