3.5 stars.
Reverse Harem Omegaverse is not my preference, but I didn't hesitate to try this book since I enjoyed the MFM dynamic that was in Lilly's trilogy (starting with Deviant Control) so much. I absolutely recommend this book to readers who like RH Omegaverse. I'm finicky with RH in general. What I really need from it in Omegaverse is for it to have strong world-building and L.V. Lane is always great at providing that. I was pleasantly surprised to see she chose a medievalesque fantasy sett ...more

Perhaps the book has been updated, because I can't say I noticed any typos or grammatical errors mentioned in other reviews. I did notice the author is British, as am I, so it might just be that she wrote using our grammar, wordage and spelling. All I can say is "Suck it up buttercup" because we have to mentally translate all those books written to suit the American market. 😂

This is my first book by this author and I sure am glad that I finally got the pleasure. The writing was refreshingly smooth, straight to the point, and there's a well-balanced feel to it: the male characters are distinctly different from each other (pretty important in RH, where they sometimes all look the same), there's action, a little bit of background, there's smut (seriously hot smutt), and it's also kind of a primitive road trip.

I liked this series opener. I feel like RH Omegaverse works if there is a group takes a mate dynamic in the world building to stop issues of possessive alphas not being able to share, and L.V.'s handles that well. I liked that familial groups takes an omega together and that's what ties families together and strengthens family bonds for decades to come.
I loved Belle. She was sassy and snarky, willing to stand up for what was right, and fiercely protective. She had an omega's submissiveness but ...more

A 'Don't read in public-you might wet your seat!' danger sign should be on this book cover!
4.5 STARS!
And that is because I'm holding half a star back due to what I think was a too anti-climatic end fight with our main bad guy - Oswald.
I am a huuuuge fan of L.V. Lane - and her 'Controllers' Series is one of my absolute favourites Omegaverse of all time.

Deliciously indulgent, naughty, and unapologetic. This is a hot ride of a story, for sure. I love the unique aspect of adding a wolf shifter to the Omegaverse. He blends so smoothly into the 'pack' of Alphas that it feels completely natural (he's actually my favorite boi, but don't tell the others :X). These tough-as-nails Alphas always do what needs to be done, but once they meet Belle, they realize sometimes that involves making allowances and exceptions they might not have before, and it's so

Really not for me and I enjoy alphas and Dom/sub when they are done well, but this just had no chemistry, it read like it was written for men and by a man, the woman was just their to be used, if she doesn’t do anything she’s told they beat her, that isn’t punishment or dominance it’s abuse and the fact she’s constantly referred to as small, weak and lesser. ! Their was no connections between characters, it was just sex and that wasn’t written well or appealing, no real plot. If it was sold as j

I absolutely loved this story. Couldn’t put it down. A fresh take in the omegaverse by adding the RH twist but this was so much more than that. Fantastic world building, witty dialogue and plenty of action. Throw in chemistry test might just melt your kindle and I was one happy reader! I hope we get a book for Priya very soon.
Definitely recommend.

It's fine, but I'm bored and not finishing it. Everything about it is very blah - the characters, the plot, the sex. I'm not investing in anything and have lost interest.

My new favorite book by this author.
I'm a huge fan of omegaverse/shifter cross-over books. There's something about pack dynamics and omegaverse dynamics that mesh so well in my mind. This book has the added element of a wonderful fantasy/fairy-tale feel to the world-building that made a classic omegaverse, rags-to-riches story feel fresh and unique.

Good Story.
3.5 Rounded to a 4 because that cover.
I enjoyed this RH set in an omegaverse with swords and fighting. This was a much lighter read than most omegaverse tales.
I loved Belle by the end of the book. She was willing to become a proper heroine. No longer helpless , small and just ptey, she often finds herself being protective and in the middle of the frey. She does so even knowing she will be punished.

DNF 30% - There are a lot of positive reviews for this one. Unfortunately, it's not for me, there is no world-building, basic characterisation and a lot of grammatical errors. The focus for this novel is unquestionably the sex scenes, if that's your thing I'm sure you'll love it.

On the hunt for an Imperium deserter named Oswald, Silas and his brothers Nate and Dax take shelter from a storm at a farm and find Belle, an Omega struggling to make it on her own. Belle is a sassy, determined little warrior who knows her time of hiding is up when the brothers force her heat and make their claim.

I loved this story of the Alphas that discover a lone Omega that by law, they must claim and breed. The characters are so unique, each Alpha has their own quirks and kinks but they all share the need for their Omega. Belle has been alone for a year since her father died but she was getting desperate as stock was low and her garden had failed. Silas is the first Alpha, Dax the large but easy to get along with and Nate, the youngest and half breed brother, a shifter that needs to find his place am

This is definitely a book that one would read for the smut rather than any actual relationship-building, world-building, or plot. The brothers Silas, Dax, and Nate found any reason at any time of day to punish and rut the FMC Belle for their own benefit, and they didn't seem to really care about her mood or opinion. I found their domineering behavior to be rather abusive at times with the gaslighting, especially when they disciplined Belle for things she never actually did, and she was ignored w

I fell in love with L.V. Lane's writing after reading her Controllers series, so I'm always excited to see what she comes up with next. Prey is a new omegaverse reverse harem story from Ms. Lane. It's set in a different world from the Controllers series and is quite a bit lighter in tone, though it still have some darker parts. I believe this is the first reverse harem story by this author and she did an amazing job with it. RH is kind of a hit or miss for me, more often on the miss side, becaus

I absolutely loved this story... L.V. Lane sucked me into this story from the very beginning. It was exciting and thrilling turning each and every page to find out what was going to happen next. I loved how sweet and defiant Belle can be. She is so sweet with all her gruff alphas, but she can also stand up for herself if she feels the need to and does not hesitate to do so and make her wishes known. I loved Silas, Bram, Nate, and Dax all so protective of her and willing to put their lives on the

Left on her own after the death of her father, Belle is struggling to survive in the Empire's backwoods wilderness. Every day is harder than the last and, with winter's approach, bleaker by the hour. Belle will be lucky to overcome her immediate problems, but her Omega dynamic makes it downright untenable. Omegas are hunted down, forced into submission, and bred by the strongest Alphas the Empire has to offer. And when four such Alphas enter her life, Belle must come to grips with her new realit

Good. I like the omega universe world. I like Belle. I like her sass. She’s a good balance to all the alpha males. I like the alpha males and their protective nature. Although I like Silas and Dax, Nate’s my favorite. I love that she always wants him. The punishments shouldn’t be hot but surprisingly they are.
I was excited for book 2 but less interested in Priya right now. Can’t wait for book 3. :)

This is an omega verse read with loads of drama, suspense and steam. Belle is living alone on a farm; her father hid her their because she is an Omega but her father has since died. Sila, Nate and Dax are alphas and when they find her on the farm, claim her as their own. Can they keep her safe? Fast-paced read with intense chemistry and loads of steam. An entertaining story. I liked it.

The beautiful 💖cover💖 was the main reason I decided to read this book! Yep, I'm a person for whom the cover is an important factor in choosing a book. 😉
New-to-me Author.... and {as it turned out} kinda new-to-me genre.
