Bane Illes never smiled.
He never spoke.
But each day, that brooding wizard gave Janiver Benoit a glance.
And when she could not take another quiet stare, or the warmth that look sent over her skin, she took from Bane something he’d never give freely—one lingering, soul knocking kiss.
Ten years later, someone has stolen the one thing that keeps magic hidden from the mortals in

What wonderful characters and amazing storyline. Action packed and full of drama, what more could a girl ask for in a story. I highly recommend this story to others.

I used to only read paranormal romance, but then I went to contemporary leaving those paranormal stories in the past. Luckily, I've come across some very talented authors writing them so the addiction has been ignited all over again, and Eden Butler was absolutely one of them who has added to it with Forgotten Magic. I don't want to get into many details since I know for a fact that going in blindly is the best way to go so you feel the absolute awe that I did. Janiver aka Jani, is a tough cooki ...more

This book had me enthralled from the very beginning right to the end. I love the magical world Eden Butler created. And fell in love with the cast of characters, most especially Bane & Janiver. While Jani was a fascinating & a tough woman, who held secrets close to her heart, Bane was power & mystery, easy to get lost in. Their connection was inescapable and while trying to deal with that, they are looking for lost magic and evil doers and hierarchies. I totally loved this book 😍. I cant wait fo ...more

This was a magical story full of suspense and danger. The battle of good and evil with Bane and Jani at the front and center. The chemistry between the two burned brightly as they worked together to eradicate the problems facing them and their world. The other cast of characters surrounding them made for a well constructed book. I am looking forward to reading more!

Thank you for the privilege of reading this book! Well done ❤️

Wow. Damn. Talk about a stunning, gorgeous paranormal romance. I'm in awe of this book and certain that this is one of those rare stories that will stay with me for a long, long time.

I was spellbound by Forgotten Magic from the first page onward and couldn't put it down. The lush, lyrical prose hooked me instantly, becoming inextricably bound with the emotional heartbeat of the story thanks to Ms. Butler's supreme mastery of the craft. Every element pulsed in captivating tandem, from the exempl

The sexual tension between the main characters in Forgotten Magic made me devour this book. Add in a magical plotline filled with danger and suspense and you have yourself the makings of one hell of a paranormal romance!
Our main man, Bane is a towering, powerful, tattooed wizard--if that description isn’t enough to draw you in, Jani’s intimate thoughts about him certainly will. Jani doesn’t want to go back to her hometown but she’s the only person with the magical skillset needed to solve a hug

I was pulled right into this story. The story has secrets, pain, danger, suspense, and heartbreak.

This is Jani and Bane’s story. Jani is forced back to her hometown in order to help with a magical problem. What she comes home to is drama and intimate thoughts of Bane. As Jani is trying to solve a magical problem she must deal with other issues and a ton of people. All the characters pull you in and keep the story flowing with out taking away from Jani and Bane. Lots of mystery and suspense

What can I say but Eden Butler slays paranormal romance. The world she creates is incredible and it's like I can picture it in my head as I'm reading. The writing is perfection and keeps you hooked till the last page. I want more, I need more!!! The characters are easy to connect with and I adore them together. The chemistry is off the charts and toss in some magic this is one wild ride. The really enjoyed the plot and look forward to reading the next book. This is one series you don't want to m ...more

So glad to see Eden go back to her first love of paranormal romance and suspense. The characters in this novel are well drawn and intriguing. I love the storyline and the outcome. As the first book in the series, I’m interested to see where she goes from here. Mai? Sam? Another character? Looking forward to the next installment.

Eden has nailed the paranormal drama and romance! Janiver has wanted Bane for as long as she can remember, but one fateful kiss changes both their live forever. Bane had always protected her, but that one day causes her to leave him, her family and her town. She has used her talents over the years to get by, but one call from her brother brings her back home. She is not thrilled to leave NY, especially when Bane is at her door to take her home. The attraction is still there, but he doesn't know ...more

Paranormal, suspense, romance, small town "politics" - FORGOTTEN MAGIC is the first book in the "Crimson Cove" series.

There is a lot going on in this story and the way the author plotted it, it was easy for me to keep everyone and everything straight. The detailed descriptions made great visualization while reading.

I recommend this enjoyable read.

Eden Butler created the most magical world. The way she writes is so descriptive you can’t help but see and feel all the words she has written. Bane and Jani’s story is heartbreaking. The story is packed with magic, and forbidden love. I would give this more stars if it was possible.

A wonderful paranormal romance. This author is a master of her craft with everything that she writes. She's created a world that you can't help but meld into and fall in love with. I was intrigued to know more as the story unfolded.

Janiver harbors a secret that's been plaguing her for the last ten years. It's hard to deny the attraction that lingers between her and Bane. Everything comes rushing back when Bane appears in her life again.

Heartbreak, pain, loss, and obligation swirl through these
