Can a grieving alien warrior and a desperate mother overcome their painful pasts through the shared love of a child?
One year ago, Jade’s husband was killed and the baby she had wanted for so long disappeared. She has been searching for her daughter ever since. Nothing - not even being abducted by aliens - is going to stop her.
She doesn’t expect to find a daughter who doesn’t know her; one who clings to a huge, green alien instead. Despite her own attraction to the older warrior, she will do whatever it takes to get her daughter back.
Inzen lost his wife and daughter many years ago in the terrible plague that threatened to destroy the Cire race. When his ship rescued a group of abducted women and infants, he willingly took on the care of one of the children.
Then a luscious human female appears, demanding the return of her daughter and he is faced with once again losing a child.
When danger threatens, can Jade and Inzen come together for the sake of the child they both love?
Each book in the Treasured by the Alien series can be read as a standalone romance. This sweet and steamy HEA is intended for mature readers.

Daughter of the alien Warrior de Honey Phillips y Bex Mclynn Serie Treasured by the alien libro 3
Argumento:
Jade me gustó.
This series is super formulaic... but since I'm reading it for comfort and the formula doesn't contain huge issues, I'm good with that.
- Includes an older woman outside of common childbearing years. - The woman is kidnapped from earth but rescued by an alien warrior. - There's a cute kid(s) involved and the warrior is super cute in how he cares for that kid. - The villain always comes back in the end and gets killed while he's being dastardly. - The main characters jump into bed together pretty quickly and every sexual encounter follows the same pattern as the other books. - The tail! It's so expressive and fun. And always a sign they've "met their mate". - The woman is strong, capable, willing to work, etc... and doesn't expect the alien warrior to take care of her... but he always does. - The alien is horrified that he didn't adequately feed/protect his mate/kid(s). Always in a way that the woman reassures him wasn't a big deal. - The woman always gets pregnant at the end.
Daughter of the Alien Warrior is book three in the Treasured by the Alien series by Honey Phillips & Bex McLynn.
This series is just too cute, sweet and endearing. I like this series because of how adorable the aliens are with the children. Their race has been decimated and now they focus on taking care of the future generations, even if they are a different race.
Jade lost her husband a year ago and her baby was kidnapped at the same time, but that doesn’t stop her. She’s strong, independent and courageous. I liked her determination. Inzen is an older Cire warrior retired and teaching the next generation. He adopted Lily, Jades daughter, and also another women who doesn’t have anyone. He’s so sweet, caring and protective. These two were cute. I love how they got their HEA.
Daughter of the Alien Warrior is a story about family, moving forward and love.
3 stars. I’d say these are guilty pleasures books, but I’m not liking the idea about being “guilty” about anything I read.
I need to come up with a different word for it.
Also, not gonna lie and say I don’t enjoy all the alien romance. They’re great pallet cleansers and perfect when you need something a bit lighter. Something you don’t have to concentrate on. And these are perfect for just that.
I treasure these alien books filled with exotic places and interesting people. I loved this story and our little Hana/Lily was so precious. I hope there will be more books to come.
This was a super quick read that can be read as a standalone. The story follows a woman named Jade whose baby was stolen a year ago by aliens. She's spent the time since honing her body and skills in hopes they will return and she can find her missing child. Luckily for her, her baby is being well looked after by none other than the hero Inzen who's practically adopted her as his own. The first half of the story I really enjoyed. The two spend time getting to know one another and develop feelings. Inzen though keeps a big secret from Jade and it certainly causes a rift between them. The second half of the story was kind of heartbreaking to be honest. Jade's own child does not know her and sees her as a stranger. She's lost a year of her life and has to work to win over her own child all while seeing her at home with Inzen. Like I said it was pretty heartbreaking, sure things work out but damn was it a gut punch every time her daughter barely tolerated her. Of course eventually though there's a HEA for them all.
This story was great. I adored Inzen and all the love he had for his daughter even if she wasn't his biologically. So not only was he a good dad & protector but also smart, hot, kind, giving and accomplished (and just alien enough to add some zing and up his hot factor even more). This book was a fairly quick read but it gives you a little bit of everything from romance to action. You also get plenty of emotions and they all seemed real & reasonable wether good or bad which I always appreciate. This was just a very good hot & sweet romance with an alien that was alien and a human woman who had to overcome some preconceived notions & issues to get to their HEA. And the HEA was everything I would have wanted for this couple; and I hope these authors can give us at least a few more stories with Cire warriors because they are just so delicious. Good book would recommend.
I haven’t read anything else in this series, but seems like they’re all about lonely alien warriors who want to be a husband and a father — a trope I didn’t know I needed!
Inzen being an overprotective dada to the human daughter he rescued was definitely giving all the nawwwww moments, and I felt so bad for Jade who had been searching for her kidnapped daughter, only for her daughter to not recognise her.
The storyline and how Inzen and Jade came together was a little predictable, but I didn’t mind that because I was looking for a palate cleanser and this delivered on that.
It's time for another series, but this time by Honey Phillips and Bex McLynn. Treasured by the Alien are a series of books that follow the same formula. An older woman is taken from Earth and is accompanied by a child, not always their own, and are subsequently saved by a lizard like alien called a Cire and then they fall in love and form a found family unit.
This one I liked quite a bit, we follow Jade and Inzen, who is a Cire from the first book. Jade is on a mission to find her infant daughter and the two bond over their shared love for her. It's really very sweet.
Big fan of this series and this book did not disappoint. Even though they say it can be a standalone read I recommend reading the previous books as they make references to the personality of some of the characters you meet. You would be missing out of the full feel of the interactions if you didn’t understand the struggle all these folks went through as you only read that they are happy on this planet after being abducted.
A special love for two incredible people. Inzen who lost a mate and a child to Red Death and Jade whose baby girl was kidnapped a year ago. It was nice to see Abby and the family back.
*WARNING* story is meant for adult readers.. Wonderful characters. Great storyline. I like the mix of aliens. The main character is fierce, brave and determined. The main alien is sweet, intelligent, strong, and protective. It's everything a SFR story should be with the HEA.
Oh I just love this series. It takes women who are at their lowest most hopeless points in their lives and these wonderful Cire warriors help lift them up and give them the HEAs they deserve. Jade was so distraught and empty searching for her missing daughter for the last year. Sweet Inzen had overcome the loss of his mate and child and never thought he's get a second chance. They definitely had some bumps in the road and many compromises to make but together they made each other whole again. So Good!!
Another cute, fairly low stakes addition to the series, DotAW is not my favorite of the bunch.
There's a lot of...not great in this one. Our heroine is super TSTL, impulsive to a fault, and unable to learn her lesson from past mistakes. Judgy, Nose In Everyone's Business and No Filter Abby barges in when no one asked her. And at least two of the younger women rescued in the first book decide to be rude and hostile little beasts for no real reason—totally unnecessary. It really kills my enjoyment of a story when women are horrible to each other for no reason.
In Romance, there's a real issue portraying female characters in a balanced light; it's almost always about extremes, which leaves them feeling flat and unrelatable. And despite how many books there are out there with just as many heroines, we still get stuck with a handful of tropes. In this one, Jade was cast as Fiery Woman Who Jumps Into Everything, Including The Worst Conclusions—totally at odds with who she was intended to be based on her backstory. Strategy, reading other people and predicting situations, and long-term planning was literally part of her job on Earth with her companies. There's even a scene in this story with a strategy game that she excels at. She's meant to be strategic and able to map out her moves, yet she was an impulsive TSTL mess when her abilities would have been the most useful. Because...drama, or something. It didn't make sense to me that someone who was this clever and gifted with vision would throw it all away and start making a lot of really terrible decisions that self-sabotaged once she was able to make headway toward finding her baby.
Add to this several characters—in particular Abby who should know better—make it a point to question if Jade is Lily/Hana's mother because of race and well...yeah, super not happy about this one. I have a friend who, for this same reason, has always been mistaken for her childrens' nanny instead of their mother their entire lives. It's gross, and it would have been nice to see any of the characters involved actually learn something from it but... white women, amirite? And this is why I pinged this one as problematic. Less because of the issue and more because it was simply glossed over and swept under the rug. NO. It's really not OK. We're on an alien planet; let's pretend that in this world white people can get called out on their BS, self-reflect, learn, and apologize for it.
Even with all of that, I still enjoyed Inzen and Jade's story of having to overcome some deep emotional hurtles to make a family. That aspect was really well done and provided plenty of angst without the help of the messes mentioned above.
Inzen is a Cire warrior strong, loyal, fierce and protective. We met him in the first book and he has suffered much in his life and not from being a warrior. Many of the civilizations in space were stricken with the Red Death a horrible plague. The Cire were hit hard because it took all of their females. Inzen lost his wife and his beloved daughter to this horrible disease. In the first book two of the babies taken from Earth were taken without their mothers. He adopted one and has been a wonderful father to her for over a year. Jade !let her child when her husband was out for a walk in the park he as murdered and her child stolen. She has trained to defend and attack while searching for her child everyday she has been missing. Jade knows the park in the key so she goes every morning too see if she can find who took her daughter. This one fateful morning will change her life forever. She see something abducting two other women with children. She does her best but also gets captured and when she realizes they are aliens she knows these are the same horrible slavers that took her daughter. After almost being so!d to a horribly abusive male she and the other humans are rescued by the galactic authorities. They are going to return the women to Earth. But Jade won't go without her daughter. One of her rescuers communicates with Trevelor the planet where the other rescued humans have settled with their mates. This is where Inzen and Made will meet. Inzen offers to go get her even though she could be his beautiful daughters mother. He doesn't want to give his baby up but he also doesn't want to keep a mother away from her baby. When they meet there is an instant attraction that neither one believes is possible but they can't seem to deny it. They become close on the journey to the planet but anger and some very important misunderstandings threaten to get in the way of their happiness. I have to say this was such an enjoyable experience I loved Inzen and was so happy he found love and a family and Made was strong independent but needed and wanted love just as much. This was more than just a passionate love story. It was a story about family. Watching people who love each other work through any issue and become stronger for them. I loved it it made me smile, laugh and wish I had a Cire warrior of my own to love.💖💖💖💖 I love forward to reading more books in this series please 💖💖💖💖
I LOVE this series !!! Each book is an absolute treasure , and I am a looting pirate !!! In this book we see some friends from the 1st book. Hrebec and his former shipmates have settled down on the planet Trevor. There is a thriving community of expatriates of the CIRE nation , and they have everything that families need. Since the Cire lost almost all of their females in the red death, and only makes have been born ever since, their race is dying. And Hrebec and his men were instrumental in helping a few human prisoners to escape becoming slaves. Also , there seems to be a possibility of being " compatible " with them . If course ,that goes against what the Cire home planet believe - the purification of the race . Well Hrebec and some of his crew want to have mates !! And so , here they are !!! Inzen was an officer in the ship , and after the flies of his wife and daughter, he thought to have a meager existence. But one the human females has captured his heart - in a Fatherly sort of way . Cassie has a son and has been taking care of one of the two infants that were captured in a separate incident then then Abby and her girls were. So Cassie had two babies to take care of , and Inzen found himself being needed. As they settled on this new planet, and this new life, Inzen has primarily taken care of Lily, the infant that wasn't Cassie's natural child . He loves her dearly . So , one day when a communication come ' s through about a baby that had been kidnapped about a year ago , he panics.
Jade has been through hell and back. Almost a year ago , her baby was kidnapped and her baby stolen . She has gotten no help from the police and decided that she WILL find her child !!! So she keeps returning back to the scene of the crime. And one day she finds out Exactly what happened to her beloved baby Hana . She was abducted by Aliens !!! So what happens when a desperate mother will go to the endeavor the Earth for her Child ??? This book !!! A wonderful book full of love and devotion , and 2nd chances .... I loved it !!! And the description s will have you actually smelling the roses ! And the food !!! Love these two writers !!!
This was a surprisingly sweet sci-fi alien romance. It had plenty of steam, but many sweet moments with the aliens and the children. The aliens all adore children, and it was so sweet how they would do anything for them. The way the alien H looked was a bit different, but that didn't seem to bother the h.
I did get a little irritated with Jade after a while, with her determination not to trust Inzen, when he had given her no reason not to trust him. Even though he knew that she wanted to take Lily from him, he was willing to work with her to find a better solution -- one that would be good for both of them and good for little Lily. Jade finally did realize that she could trust him, but not as soon as I felt she should have.
Overall, I really liked this book. My favorite parts were the interaction between the aliens and the children. They all fell madly in love with all the children, and it didn't matter to them at all whether they were human, alien, or mixed species.
My rating system is below. 1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it. 2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws. 3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating. 4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one. 5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.
This is such a sweet and cozy read. It has some action, a strong female character, a very protective Cire male, and a baby. It's definitely a series I can come back to and reread.
Jade's husband was killed, and her baby kidnapped. For a year, she's trained and returned back to the location of the incident. One morning, when she is trailing 2 mothers and their babies on a jog, they're abducted. By aliens. Jade is determined to find her baby that was stolen. She fights every chance she gets. She fights her captors, and she fights the ones trying to buy her... she doesn't expect to be saved by big green aliens. Ones who aren't bad to look at. One arrives and says he's there to take her to a baby that is possibly hers. And she finds she doesn't want to fight him or the feelings he brings out of her.
Inzen lost his mate and daughter to the Red Death. A sickness that devastated his race, taking the lives of their females. He was broken and didn't expect to find happiness again. But then he gained a daughter, 2 daughters, when his crew saved humans who were abducted. A teenage daughter and a baby. For a year, he was learning to be a father again, taking care of his 2 adopted daughters. Then, a year later, they're contacted about more humans being abducted and saved. And one of them is searching for her baby... who could possibly be his baby daughter. He goes to bring Jade to see his daughter because as much as it hurts him, he can't keep his daughter away from her mother. What he doesn't expect is to have his mating bond urges awakened. Can it be possible that he found his family?
We finally come to Jade's story--the woman whose infant daughter was abducted without her. She runs into the same aliens a year later and finally gets a lead on her daughter's whereabouts. Inzen has been caring for little Lily this whole time and can't fathom losing her to a stranger, having already lost a mate and daughter years before.
I love Honey's writing and world-building, which is why I keep reading her books even though I don't like a lot of the circumstances or back stories of the main characters. I'm a softie who prefers innocent heroines and not a ton of violence, so it's hard to get past most of these heroines being mature, experienced, hardened from a tough life, and then abused/assaulted on top of it. However, I absolutely adore the heroes of this series (and most of her other series); being so strong, protective, sexy, respectful toward women, and paternal with children is a potent combination. Don't get me started on the tails! Those things are the best--so sweet and naughty.
This story has a lot of angst, so slogging through that was challenging, but Honey always gives us a wonderful HEA, and it was lovely and satisfying. 4.5 Stars.
I would love to see Kwaret get some kind of happy ending at the end of this series, whether an epilogue or short story, etc. He's been there as the only decent alien on the abductor crew since the beginning, and pivotal in helping each group of women.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I loved this alien-human, fated mates, single mom romance. This is a heartwarming, funny and spicy romance with lovable and relatable characters with a just a touch of angst. Jade is a human whose husband was murdered at the same time her infant daughter, Hana, disappeared a year ago. She has been searching in the park since the incident but rather than discovering the kidnappers, she is abducted by aliens. Inzen is a Cire engineer who left his ship a year ago with other kidnapped humans and their infants. The Cire race was decimated by the Red Death and his mate and daughter were two of the casualties. When the humans were rescued, he bonded with an unattended human infant, Lily, and has been raising her for the last year on Trevelor. When he hears a human woman is looking for her missing daughter, he fears he will lose Lily so he travels to pick up Jade and bring her back to the planet Trevelor. Jade and Inzen’s connection is instant and deepens as they travel together back to where Lily is but there is a lot of baggage unpacking and trust building necessary to get to their HEA. I loved how their relationship developed organically as they spent time together and the conflict about who Lily/Hana would live with is addressed beautifully. The story was well written and included engaging dialogue, three dimensional characters who grow, and a captivating storyline woven into superb world building with sweet moments, spicy scenes, alien physiology and cultures, painful pasts, bad guys, big feels, and laughs. I am looking forward to reading more in this series.
One year ago Jade’s husband was killed and her baby was kidnapped. She has spent every waking moment searching for her sense and nothing will stop her, not even being kidnapped by aliens. She doesn’t expect to be attracted to an alien, or for her daughter to prefer him over her.
This was a cute and fun read. I love this series because of how adorable the aliens are with children. Their race has been decimated by a plague and now they focus their time on taking care of the future generations, even if they are a different race.
Jade is a strong, independent, and courageous woman. She will stop at nothing to be with her child, including agreeing to an arranged marriage just to protect her daughter. I loved how determined Jade was and how she wasn’t afraid to stand up to Inzen. Inzen is an older, retired Cire warrior who lost his family. I loved how caring and protective he was. He not only adopts Lily but he also basically adopts another woman who doesn’t have anyone either.
These two were so cute and I couldn’t get enough of them. I hope there will be more books for this series in the future because I can’t get enough of these Cire men.

I liked this one better than the previous 2. Jade felt quite relatable, because I am impulsive and go with my gut all the time, but I must say I agree with another reviewer that she doesn't fit her own background at all. Self-professed strategic woman goes with her gut instinct 90% of the time. Uh huh.
The heart-wrenching scenes where her daughter are hard for me to read, having a 4 year old daughter myself.
What really ruined this book for me was Cassie. WOW. I hate her!! "Oh but she's gone through so much in her life" well fuck you, that doesn't excuse her, and none of what she said and did was acceptable.
This is the third book in this series that I have read and I love them all. The concept of having human children figure so prominently in a scifi romance is original. I read a lot of this genre and what I love most is how sweet and attentive all the Hs in this series are not only to the children but also to their mates. However, they are still warriors! Also, got to love tails! I love how the tails seem to have a mind of their own when it comes to wanting contact with the female of their choice. I also enjoy that all the FMC are strong in their own different ways. Jade felt the need to become physically strong after her daughter was kidnapped. She refuses to ever stop looking for her. As a parent, this would be my worst nightmare. The author deals with the reuniting of mother and daughter in a very authentic way. It would be unrealistic for a child kidnapped that young to have strong memories of her mother. She lets us feel how this affects Jade. I love how Jade and Inzen eventually find their way in how to become a family. Although they don’t know each other really well, they fairly quickly learn to communicate with each other knowing that, like any relationship, misunderstandings are going to happen. I will definitely buy the next book in this series.
Inzen and Jade. He's a doting (sometimes too doting, as the case might be) alien papa to his little human charge. She's the frantic mother who will do whatever's necessary to find her daughter. No lie, my heart broke a little for Jade when her first few encounters with her missing baby had Lily shying away from her. (No worries, though, things worked out on that front. Eventually.)
But I'm getting ahead of myself. Jade's had a rough year what with the death of her husband and the abduction of her daughter. Considering aliens took her baby, it's the type of abduction that she has a hard time wrapping her head around when she finds out the truth. However, since she's on an alien ship when things are revealed...well, she kinda has to believe it.
As for Inzen, hearing that his adopted daughter's mother might be one of the most recently rescued humans is a shock. The thought of losing Lily cuts him, but he's honorable enough he goes to retrieve Jade so they can find out the truth.
And along the way Inzen and Jade connect. Yesssssss.
A little danger, a little heartbreak, trying to juggle sexy times with parenthood. GOOD STUFF. (And also EXACTLY what I was in the mood for when I picked up this book.)
I have so much love for this book! I became addicted right from the start, and then I couldn't let it go. There is a grittiness in this story, an obsessive kind of love, but it's a good kind. I loved the characters, I loved the plot, I adore this writing duo and this series in particular. The writing is clear and descriptive and the characters are perfectly damaged enough to stay interesting. I started reading this book at bedtime and couldn't stop until it was over. Jade is the perfect warrior mom who doesn't quit searching for her missing daughter. Although she was a little bit wrong for how she used the other moms at the beginning, I kept thinking that maybe those two women would also get stories in the future too. She wasn't going to be a victim, and she fought to save herself so she could save her daughter. Inzen was the most perfect dad ever, like a dream dad, and then he meets Jade and there's more, so much more. I loved how Jade took care of the lost people in her life, but it wasn't easy. Can you ever trust a good thing when you've never had that experience? The twist in the story renewed my interest in reading this one to the end in one sitting. You absolutely have to read this, it has so much going for it, and since I couldn't put it down, I think you'll feel the same way too!
